American's take on British medical services.

Only brainwashed MAGATS ever say it's free. Improve your reading skills.

Lol. Not only are you lying about the cost of "FREE" healthcare, now you're lying about calling it that for years.

It's really amazing how your knee jerk response works so quickly.

I've never said that.

You're beginning to sound more demented than Trump, who thinks that taxes are imposed for national security reasons.

Lol, it's almost as if you think no one remembers your spew from days past.

You, 2016 - 44K
Me, 2014 - 11.5K

It appears you spew far more than me.

And this means what? That by the time your simplemindedness figures out how to post your lone thought the thread has already passed into the great beyond?

Or is it that no one wants to talk to you? ( <-- highly likely this is the reason for low P.)

Are you still saying that Signal Chat is appropriate for a senior government officer to discuss an ongoing military operation, Spewy?

^the deflection is strong with this one.

THE POINT, numbnutz, is that "free healthcare" isn't EVER "free."

Or haven't you figured that out yet?

And here's the major issue you're missing; which is total submission on your part to doing whatever the government wants you to do. Your mantra of "free" everything only shows the world that you prefer being a slave instead of a man.

Freedom literally starts with the word "free." When you have to beg the government for food, healthcare, or whatever; you're not.
Whereas you prefer to beg an accountant to decide if your life or the profits of his company is more important...

So, not free.

Which means the social advertising for it is phony.

Which is called fraud in most parts of the world.
Who said it's free?

It's free at point of access, paid for proportionately by those who can afford more. I'm no socialist, but you won't find many people in the UK who don't appreciate the simplicity of use. Our medics are too busy saving lives to give a shit if the unconscious person in front of them can afford it.
I cannot believe that the USA feels so much chutzpah as to intervene everywhere in the world when they don't even have the compassion to help their own people.

It's touted as FREE healthcare nearly everywhere, including in the media and government.

So let's not pretend any differently. Or spin it some other way now that your little LIE has been revealed.

What little "LIE". Are you a 12-year old faking your way on to a grownups website?

It's free at the point of access and free for those who don't have a job, children and so on. If you don't work, it's free.
If you do work, a much smaller portion of your income helps cover it compared to the ridiculously inflated prices that you're so proud you have in the USA. Charging women to give birth FFS. Sounds third world.

I have lived for 20+ years in UK and 8 in the USA (where two of our kids were born). The UK system is better for the 90% who are less well off, the American for the wealthiest 10%. Both have hugely inefficient Bureaucracies, in UK they are public servants , in the USA they are the private servants of insurers.

And if you're in the top 10% in the UK, you're in a nicely privileged position and probably have private medical through BUPA or similar anyway.

Except it's not really "free" now is it?

No matter how you spin it, it's NEVER EVER "free." It might be PRE-paid but it's certainly not "free."

And another thing: Your "free" healthcare comes out of your paycheck. You even say so. But, here in the US we have ACA subsidies (which will be phased out) so most people don't have healthcare deductions from their paychecks. These are people who often don't pay income taxes because their earnings are lower than the tax tables bottom tax bracket. So, for them, it's a form of "free" because they're being subsidized by higher earners and their healthcare is being gifted to them. By force, but it's still a gift. Which makes our system appear to be better than your system.

So, take your fake spew and stick it up your fake healthcare narrative. While you're doing that, please stop by Bray's house and let him know that, yes, some people do call it "free" healthcare because he doesn't believe anyone says it is.

And knowing I will be treated for an illness without having to pay at the point of use or be bankrupted is so British...

So you went with spin instead of admitting to the truth that your healthcare ISN'T "free?"

What's funny is that you're gloating over the fact that your government mandates you have healthcare and ours no longer does so The People can pick their poison.

And you think you're better off being your government's healthcare indentured servant than being a freeman.

The system that is being phased out is better than the UK healthcare system that costs half of what ours costs and covers everyone?

Stable genius. 😆

By the way, most Americans get healthcare through their employer, and that cost effectively comes “out of your paycheck”. Employees are paid less because of the extremely high cost of providing the health insurance benefit.

I have been watching American YouTubers videos experiences with the NHS the British medical services, and they are eye-opening.
It is a national non-profit government system that all British citizens are automatically entitled to use,and is FREE at the point of use.
Funding comes from a tax on earnings currently approx 0% of a weekly wage for the first £300,8% the next £700 and 2% after that.
Apparently the only hospital charge is £5 a day some hospital charge for a personal TV.
Prescriptions from the personal doctor are approx £10 per item no matter what the medicine costs and are free for the over 60's.
Ambulances are also FREE.

Now why can't America be like that?
PS For all the idiots crying but, but, but that's communism you are perfectly entitled to use the private health service, but you have to pay the tax as well.

you can move to the uk for that shit. I'll keep my insurance! stop being inept and lazy. do the work! if you have a job, get a HSA/FSA card which helps.

Jesus, you lazy mother fud-ckers
