My girlfriend and I did anal for the first time a few hours ago and when we did it I came inside of her. When I pulled out a little bit was dripping down so I wiped it up, but im wondering if there is any chance of her getting pregnant.

Yes, there is. It's probably not likely that a lonely little swimmer made it into the vagina between the time you dripped and the time you wiped it up, but it is possible.

In the future, use condoms for anal sex as well as vaginal sex.

For now, she should probably take a morning after pill.

What part of her cycle is she in? That's assuming, of course, that her menstrual cycles are regular.

I think vanelane and bi have pretty much covered it, but you might also start keeping track of your GF's menstrual cycle so that you have a clearer idea of when you should and shouldn't panic.

*edit--Just discovered your GB thread, ww_crimson. Ouch.

What are you two using for birth control? I'm curious because it seems you've had a few pregnancy scares, and are pretty concerned about it (concern is a good thing though).

You also asked about condoms and anal before, and were advised to use them to guard against infection, STIs, and pregnancy. What happened today is done, and all you can do now is damage control, but perhaps it's time for you two to get serious about using a couple of reliable methods of birth control, including condoms every single time you have vaginal or anal sex. There's absolutely no reason to have all of this stress and risk your health. :)

I did too. Ouch is right. Another fine example of some of the compassionate understanding folks on the GB.

not the most likely thing, but she could get pregnant since it did contact her pussy.

Kinda gross that u didnt use a condom in the first place... the Anus carries bacteria which can cause serious infections a lot of the time...

pregnancy

don't scare him! theres like a one in a million chance that she'll get pregnant. You're more likely to be hit by a car crossing the road than you are to get pregnant in a scenario like this one.

anal sex isn't gross or dangerous without a condom!!! please people help dispel this myth. When you give yourself an enema before anal it wouldn't be gross.

It may be one in a million, but if she can't afford to get pregnant and she's that one...

The bottom line is it's stupid to not educate and protect yourself if you don't want the negative consequences. Those who are unable or unwilling to think ahead and prepare for the 'what ifs' shouldn't be having sex.

Actually, "anal sex isn't gross or dangerous without a condom" is the myth that needs to be dispelled, not the other way around. 'Gross' is subjective, but plenty of people believe bareback is extremely gross. As for dangerous, anal sex is a risky behavior because infections and diseases are transmitted very easily. Apart from the usual list of STIs, men can get Nongonococcal Urethritis, irritation, UTIs, etc. Even when partners are STI-free and absolutely certain they're monogamous, it's smart to wear a condom. Sex educators and health professionals advise using condoms every single time, period. I have yet to find a credible source that doesn't recommend condoms for everyone for anal sex.

Condoms also allow for very easy cleanup and more variety in activities.

Enemas are NOT a substitute for condoms. EVER.

Anal sex shouldn't be dirty if the receiver's had a bowel movement recently, doesn't have GI problems, and uses plenty of lube. Even so, there could be some fecal matter when the penis/object is removed, and without a condom, whatever's inserted MUST be washed thoroughly with soap and warm water immediately after sex because it'll be covered with bacteria. Some people like enemas, but they're not necessary, and frequent enemas are very harmful.

Great post, Sweet Erika!

NGU is always a risk in bareback anal, and of course infections can then be passed to the woman in oral or vaginal sex. Since comfortable anal requires a lot of foreplay, putting on the condom can be integrated into this play. I'm always so excited when my gal offers me her ass, i never have any problems with erections and condom donning.

Taking care of your and your partner's health eliminates worry stress and regret and helps direct your energy more toward pleasure and excitement, IMO.

Sounds like getting pregnant would be a pain in the ass. (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

Erika said exactly what I was trying to post when my internet browser froze up on my last night. Well posted, Erika!

If any sperm has gotten into the vagina then it is possible she may get pregnant, although the chance of that happening is lower since you didn't cum inside her is lower I think it might be an idea for her to get the morning after pill just in case.

The chance of a pregnancy from what you described is actually pretty infinitesimal. I think its safe to say that there aren't any bowel babies wandering around today. ;)

Also, someone mentioned anal being gross if a condom isn't used. People who say things like that simply don't have the right experience under their belt to be giving advice. I've never used a condom for anal sex and its always been some of the greatest sex I've ever had, with my wife and past lovers.

Read everything you can in the Blank Manual, preferrably with your girlfriend, and have fun.

See Erika that's why we love you. My answer to this would have been a simple Dr. Sue Johansen says wearing a condom during anal sex is required as part of safe sex. Has nothing to do with being monogamous.

Why say it in two sentences when you can write ten or more? ;)

I believe the chance was fairly slight!

the chances of pregnancy were very little, but not completely safe, therefor the advice about using condoms stands.

ive been enjoying bare back anal sex for 33 yrs, in a monogamous relationship, and never ever have i got an infection from it, nor have i given one. That goes for analingus too.

when you are monogamous, bare back is a luxury you can afford. Thank god for that :nana:
