So I've always heard that you shouldn't use a vibrator in your ass.... well at least with the vibrator on. Why is this a bad thing? :nana: I was just thinking about it the other day and it came up in a discussion so I thought I would ask..... Can anyone answer this for me?

I've always found it to be a good thing, in fact one of my favourite things.

I don't think it's a bad thing. In my experience it brings the O to a new level. Ahhhh Triple stim, yummmmmmm!

Where did you hear it was a bad idea to use vibes anally? I'm always curious about where these ideas come from.

It might be problematic if the vibe's shape allows it to go all the way in and "get lost" (that sometimes requires a visit to the ER). Using a vibrating butt plug, or something with a wide enough base so it can't get lost is a good idea for that reason.

It's not smart to use a vibe that's made of material that's porous and can't be sterilized. Jelly and cyberskin are some of the worst for that, and shouldn't be used anally without a condom. Pure silicone (make sure the toy says something like '100% Medical-Grade Silicone' on it), vinyl, hard plastic and a few other materials are not porous and the part that is inserted can usually at least be sterilized in a light bleach solution. It's obviously a bad idea to use a toy anally that can't be exposed to at least plenty of soap and hot water.

We use vinyl attachments on our Hitachi Magic Wand most often, which can be taken off the vibe and popped in the dishwasher, bleached, or boiled. The same goes for our plugs. Otherwise, we always use a condom.

just make sure its either too long to go all the way in, or has a flared base so it cannot slip in.

and a material safe for insertion. some really cheap jelly toys have chemicals that can leech back out. the exact chemical family name escapes me, but google can help.

or stick to silicone toys and you're not only safe for insertion, but the non-porous material is easier to clean and sanitize.

remember the anus does have bacteria inside, so you can't swap the toy ass to vagina, and it should always be thoroughly cleaned if used anally before its used again for vaginal or anal insertion.

I've read it on packaging and also heard from people that you shouldn't do it. I always thought because the skin on the inside of the anus is so thin and delicate. And it cold hurt it or injure it... i dunno.

Yes you definately don't want to lose anything in there and u wanna be able to clean it afterwards! Thanks for the tips!

That's true - if you don't use enough lube, use products that are irritating, objects with rough areas or sharp edges, or are really rough on yourself. You should also never use anything that numbs the area and always pay attention to what your body's telling you - if it hurts, you need to modify your technique, go slower, switch objects, use more lube, etc.

"Don't use this toy anally" or similar is probably on some packages because the company is fearful of lawsuits from people who lose the toy, injure themselves or get an infection because they haven't cleaned it properly (or it's made of a material or has a design that doesn't allow for proper cleaning). I'm guessing a lot of manufacturers of jelly and cyberskin-like toys have had complaints about burning/irritation with anal use, so they (rightly) tell people to not use them anally; a warning on the package is certainly cheaper than using better materials or a lawsuit.

If you do research like this and use common sense, you shouldn't have a problem. Most of us have used vibes anally for quite sometime with nothing but very pleasurable results. :)

I too agree with the above posts. When you see packaging that says due not use for anal sex I believe it is due to the material that its made from.

Butt Plugs are exactly that . Plugs for the butt. Some are vibrating and some are not.

OLD TOY

MY TOY its 5 x 1.75

NEW TOY its 5.75 x 2.5 x 6

the 3 that are photoed are all made out of rubber. I do not use a condom but I do clean it extensively before & after each use.

Rubber ones are very safe weather its vibrating or not.

Nope. It’s not about what it's "made of" it has to do with the company not being liable for you getting a vibe or a dildo stuck up your ass, because that's not what they're made for.

So, if you're careful, and don't sue dildo factories, then plunge away!

Extra virgin olive oil is the best lube you can use, and it's good for you!

Is it a good lube for anal sex?

There is a vibe with anal attached

I saw a vibrator on a website where I get my sex toys and it has a clitoris vibe, vaginal vibe and an anal shocker all at one time. I have never used it, but I see it all the time when I go to order stuff.

The site I use is www.PassionPresent.com. A girl I know sells the stuff and it is so much cheaper than the sex toy stores. You should check it out, but I am sure they wouldn't sell it if it was not okay. I just looked it up and it is call the Pharaoh's Secret. It is awesome looking, but they also have a disco mini tounge that has a vibe in it and it is meant for anal, too.

with my toys I use plain vaseline. I prefer something thick because I wear the plug for a long period of time. I once bought anal lube (I think thats what its called) and it was just like vaseline just a little bit less thick. Since then vaseline worked fine. There might be something better but honestly vaseline does the trick.

I was never on the receiving end of anal sex but with women only I have used olive oil and it works great.
