I can't clarify it. I don't really understand it myself. It was just an inane response to an earlier remark (that I didn't really understand either) about catching "lesbian" from someone called Pom Pom. So seeing as it was just a lot of light chit chat (and chit chat can be illuminating on the odd occasion even if it does not weigh heavily on the mind), I thought a playful remark would be in order. As to clarifying the remark, I can't think of anything lucid to add.

Makes sense. It was a little uncomfortable weaving drivel through the more serious discussion of the poetry.
 
Was we cybering? or drivelling? Methinks cybering is a lot more than talking about bathtubs unless you have led a very sheltered life!

This thread is more for thanking reviewers and those who leave feedback, talking about the poems, etc. Pretty much what it's always been but without the overkill of nonstop chat. And other chitchat is for chatting! Cyberflirting, etc. I hope some of you will also move your cyberflirting from the blog thread. It's hard to find blog entries with all the cyberflirting.

So this thread is simply for "extended" flirting and chat. Now you have a place. The other threads should continue as normal, but without a little less clutter. :)

It made me go and look up what a loofah was (I now feel comfortable admitting I had no idea what might be a loofah), and we were bestowed with a wonderful poem in which the poet expertly wielded a loofah and pom poms. I call that working but work so enjoyable it don't look like work. Or feel like it.

Hail Fellow Ditz, well met.
I waste so much time redoing things on the computer, it's halving my usable lifespan. However this distinction between chit chat and grand literature is giving me great practice in sharpening up. You read it on the "Reviews" thread and then you comment on the "To keep the review thread clean..." and someone responds on the keep clean thread with relevant high art stuff plus a little aside which requires that you then jump to the "chitchat" thread and if you quote all along then those little arrow buttons allow you to jump about between threads quite easily and blur all the distinctions in your mind in spite of the discrete threads and when I've stopped to breath, Ill tell you about how much fun a ditz can have feeling empowered by the ability to bounce around like this . . . what's that? Small things? Small minds? Holly shit, what does it matter how big my mind is when I'm having such fun. Mindless? Sure! That's what orgasmic relief is about isn't it? A moment of mindlessness to reconnect with the eternal infinite. My psychologist assures me that frequent orgasmic bliss will do more for ADD than Ritalin in the mature adult.

LOVE this thread. And yes, it was getting a little salty in amongst the well-behaved reviews. But remember, you are also very welcome to come into the Bistro if you want to behave like this.

In fact, I just had an extra large claw-footed tub installed. It'll fit at least three, if they're friendly. And I have Mr. Bubble.
