Everyone has a guardian angel. God created your angel just for you, guardians angels are not given their assignments at random. A guardian angel does not get a "new" assignment once their person dies. All the angels were created at the same time, including guardian angels. That means that your angel has been waiting for millions and billions of years to meet you.

You should not name your angel. You angel already has a name, given by God. To name something shows you have control over it, like you name a pet or a child. An angel is not your pet, an angel is a being who is there to protect and guide you through life. Besides, don't you think that an angel will know when their charge calls for them?

Maybe you don't believe in angels, but that's okay, because your angel believes in you!
