Is it just me, or can your partner being angry be a real turn on? On a few occasions hubbie has lost his temper, not me and not all the way (he's very controlled over it), but now and again he'll either let rip or just go 'cold' (for want of a better expression) and my God does it get me squishy.

One time I was in his office and a person who lived in a flat below one of his was complaining about a water leak. Now the cause of the leak wasn't one of our flats, it was from part of the communal areas, but this guy wasn't having any of it and kept going on and on, raising his voice and starting to swear. Hubbie kept his voice level, stayed behind his desk and kept repeating what he had to say until the guy said something along the lines of 'fix it or you and your staff will regret it' at which point he roared, and I do mean roared:
GET OUT!
at which point the guy fairly ran out of the office.
Firstly, I nearly wet myself it was so sudden, secondly had he shouted 'Sit' I would have sat and thirdly, fuck me it was soo sexy.

Another time I'd just backed into a parking space at the supermarket and this strange guy starts banging on the bonnet swearing his head off saying I's stolen his space. I thought he'd leave, but he didn't. He stayed there swearing telling me to get out. I rang hubbie in tears as I daren't get out of the car, I couldn't drive away as he was in front of the car and although people were staring, no-one would interfere. 5 minuted later I see hubbie swing into the car park and stop in the middle of the road. I expected him to leap out of the car and come charging over, but he didn't. He calmly walked over with a smile on his face, spoke quietly to the guy and put his hand out to shake hands. The moment the guy took his hand, the expression on hubbie's face didn't so much as change as disappear, totally devoid of emotion as he carried on talking to him quietly. If you didn't know hubbie you couldn't tell anything was wrong, to those people who'd been watching from a safe distance it just looked as if it was two people shaking hands, except the shouty sweary guy was up on his toes and was trying to take his hand away from hubbies. After a minute or so hubbie let him go, the guy looked at me, muttered something under his breath and nearly ran back to his car. At which point it was as if life came back into hubbies face, he checked I was ok, parked his car and sat with me in mine as I composed myself. He's never told me what he said to the guy or what he did other than 'I told him he was being impolite to my wife and it's easy to control someone when you take charge of the handshake'.

So, am I just strange or does anyone feel the same way when their other half gets wound up?

lol.... oh I know exactly what you mean. My hub is the same size as yours and when he goes quiet and takes complete control over situations like you describe... well, I feel the same as you!

No. I don't like anger/yelling. While I appreciate a man who would stand up for me, it doesn't get my panties wet and I'd rather be able to stick up for myself.
