Historically, the murder rate in NYC far outpaces London. The two months in question...out of the past 12 years (144 months) show London murders exceeding NYC by exactly ONE murder per month for those two months.

I believe the reason for the increase in murders in London is immigration of Muslims. Adherents of the Religion of Peace can be pretty violent. So can street gangs and similar groups, of course but their numbers are not rapidly increasing as the Muslim population is. I don't know how rapidly, because the UK is too PC to disclose that info.

The number of murders in NYC rose monthly in 2018, with the sole exception of February 2018. There was also a blizzard in NYC in February 2018, so perhaps murderers didn't get the chance to go outside and murder people due to inclement weather.

It would appear to me that your insatiable desire to blame everything bad in London on Muslims is not grounded in fact.

NYC murders have certainly been on the decline for the past decade.. The graph below doesn't seem to support your claim about an "increase" in London murders, chico. Unless you're telling us that "increased" means "basically flat".

You're correct. NYC had the lowest murder rate in 70 yrs at 289, London's rate was 137 for 2018, the highest in decade. The trend lines have not intersected yet, I stand corrected. There is a substantial difference between them. Much of that could be due to difference in laws, and gang violence, pure speculation.

My first link was from the initial "Oh noes, London murder rate!" report in April 2018. There were 36 deaths in TWO months (Feb and Mar) as you said. HOWEVER, my most recent link was from THIS month April 2019 which showed the TOTAL number of murders for ALL of London in 2018 was 132, slightly higher than the previous year by about 3 or 4 murders, and far below your breathless estimate of 216.

And notice folks how Panicky Timmeh is trying to pivot the discussion away from murder to general knife violence!
