"Gun violence?"
What does that mean?
Historically, the murder rate in NYC far outpaces London. The two months in question...out of the past 12 years (144 months) show London murders exceeding NYC by exactly ONE murder per month for those two months.
Sorry, I'm not buying what you're selling.

The BBC explains it more succinctly HERE
This graph extends only through the first month of 2017, while the period being discussed here is the first two months of 2018.
I believe the reason for the increase in murders in London is immigration of Muslims. Adherents of the Religion of Peacecan be pretty violent. So can street gangs and similar groups, of course but their numbers are not rapidly increasing as the Muslim population is. I don't know how rapidly, because the UK is too PC to disclose that info.
Okay, let's talk about 2018
Here's a graph of the revised murder cases in both New York City and London.

The number of murders in London have regressed to historical averages.
The number of murders in NYC rose monthly in 2018, with the sole exception of February 2018. There was also a blizzard in NYC in February 2018, so perhaps murderers didn't get the chance to go outside and murder people due to inclement weather.
Here's a link to an analysis of NYC vs. London murders for the first six months of 2018.
It would appear to me that your insatiable desire to blame everything bad in London on Muslims is not grounded in fact.
NYC murders have certainly been on the decline for the past decade.. The graph below doesn't seem to support your claim about an "increase" in London murders, chico. Unless you're telling us that "increased" means "basically flat".

What it sort of means is that if people in the UK had access to guns there would be a lot more murders. According to Dolf, UK citizens go crazy when you put a gun in their hands
dudly your own damn linky said that murders in London for 2019 are set to surpass that of 2018. That kind of means that your BS about how the murder rate in London is still at it's norms is BS.
Not that you give a shit, telling lies in just about everything you post is your forte so facts don't matter to you at all.
^ Speaking of mentally unstable Brits with anger management issues. . .
You raise a fair point, punctuated by Sean's arrival. Can you imagine his fake tough-guy image backed up with a firearm?
Wrong again, counselor.
Let's look at teh historical average
https://fullfact.org/media/uploads/graph_v5.png
As you can see, that's roughly 120 per year ON AVERAGE, going back to 2006.
There have been 30 murders in London through April 9th
30 murders divided by 3.25 months is roughly 10 murders a month.
Extrapolating through the end of the year, 10 murders times 12 months is roughly...wait for it...120 murders.
Ergo, in line with historical average.
The rate of killings so far this year in London is higher than it was during the same period last year. The fatalities include five shootings and 31 stabbings.
Nine of those killed were teenagers and crimes involving knives and sharp instruments across England and Wales are at their highest level since 2011.
Ohh, more data spin.
Meanwhile from your earlier linky...
So you see, your BS is still BS. Mostly because you suck worse than your math skills.
31 stabbings and 5 shootings (imagine that. In a country with a gun ban no less) are 36 deaths in TWO months (Feb and Mar), not 3 1/4 months as your math is based upon. That's a total of 216 murders if the trend continues. Which is almost double what you're claiming.
