any from Tennessee?

Still here!

For some reason I can't find a good reason to go back home in San Diego. So I am here. Naw, Nashville is cool as hell. I have had a great time here and there are a few freaky women too. I just had an all nighter last Sunday and man was it fun. No sex but 4 girls 2 guys, do the math. Lots of freakiness going on. Amazing what beer does!

Thanks Olgentleman :)

Congrats on finding a new job. I wish some new jobs would open up in my area. Im a good 2 hrs away from Nashville. :(

We are new to east Tennesse. Just moved here from Ventura, CA. I couldn't afford to live there anymore plus we have two teenage girls and just had to get them away from there. We love it here, except for the damn heat & humidity.

We were 3 minutes from the beach with a constant 55-60 degrees all year long so this is a bit of an adjustment.

Where are the fun spots in Knoxville for 35-45 yr old couples?
:catroar:

No... :( I live North of Jackson,Tn

We have plenty of empty buildings in serveral small towns around me because all of the companys went bankrupt or moved their businesses over sea or Mexico.
I lost my job of 10 yrs due to bankrupt.

There are PLENTY of people in my county that needs a job but no jobs are around.
My County has the highest unemployment rate around.

The company that i was with for 10 yrs the building was built in 89 and is sitting there rotting....

I live to far from Memphis for a job. and moving is not a option right now.

OK Sweetie,

Keep you chin up and DON'T give up!! Yea, I know you are thinking, "you're not unemployed". I moved to TN just over two years ago, the first company told me they were in great shape, however, I had to move my self to TN from FL. They closed their branch 10 months after I got here, went to work for another the next week and they went bankrupt 4 months later, just before 9/11. I DO know how you feel, having been there for 8 months, only a couple of months ago. It SUCKS. I most certainly have not forgot the feeling of sadness, the lonelyness, the rejection and ...........

I was a recruiter/sales person for years, however, I have changed to just sales into another industry. Would you mind letting me know what you did in the past?:) I still have some friend in the business of finding people jobs and they might be able to help you. How far is too far to drive?

One of the best thing about recruiting/sales is being able to find people jobs. :D My thoughts and prayers are with you and I would love to help you if I can.

Welcome to Lit

AmberEyes,
Great to have you join us. We are a FUN :D   group of folks and love having new friends join us. So you live in Nashville, I live in just outside of Springhill just south of you. I work in south and North Nashville most of the time but get to downtown about 3 or 4 times a month. Ever get out to the country?

Again welcome aboard and look forward to seeing you again. ;)
