I was hoping for snakes not worms

And I was expecting exactly that answer…

Lots of pretty big snakes around for sure… watch out for the long and thick pythons… they can even kill a bird

Not black hatting your story, but I was once chased by a swan riding a horse. I was riding the horse, not the swan. But my poor little ride was quite traumatised, bless

I think you’re right… maybe not killing the bird

However I am sure there are several big snakes around after that FFF. And it can end up quite painful for this FFF early bird if it would be attack by then
