Afraid so. Two collapsed discs in lower back for about 10 to 15 years. It's been reasonable, with the right exercises until a few months ago. I'm having trouble now though.

I get that, but banks security has recognised that phones are more secure than, say, a web page interface. I still have a card reader thing for my bank somewhere...
I haven't yet succumbed to using my phone to make payments and even my older bf thinks I'm a luddite. You're in good company

I was doing some security checking re Apple and decided to keep things like financial logins off icloud in particular. Apple icloud is fine unless someone steals the phone and has seen the login - then your digital life will disappear in a few seconds. You'll lose control of your apple account & anything on icloud. So even the latest 'Passkey' system is vulnerable to that.
If anyone steals my phone, they can access quite a bit, but not my overdraft!!

I think the retailer still sees your bank account if you're in person cuz you get a printed transaction slip. So... not online?
