Anyone from the UK?

Thank you. Am doing well. Taking my OH to Bavaria on Saturday for some pampering in a nice hotel to celebrate a „round“ birthday.

How are you?

that sounds like fun!

i am ok, thanks. searching for signs of spring to photograph at weekends. waiting for the birds to return. spending a fortune on bird food. Usual

Ein bisserl :) Wenn Du fleisch isst, unbedingt Weisswurste mit Zenf, eine Brezel, und ein Mass Bier als zweites Fruehstueck, probieren, und spaeter Schweinshaxe als Abendessen :)

Oh. Are you going to Munich? If so then please say "Hallo" to the Pfalzerweinprobierstube for me :)
Not Munich this time but close. I lived there for several years before moving to Frankfurt. God I love those sausages and the sweet mustard and the pork knuckles. Oh and the beer!!!!

Did you learn your German in Germany?

Now I fear I made a terrible faux pas with my "special people" comment :ROFLMAO:

Me too. Not so much the mustard, or the beer come to that, but the sausages (don't mention the veal!) and the pork knuckle? Ohmygod 🤤 I was trying to think what other things I liked about Bavaria, even food-wise, but can't. My memory isn't very good.
Leberknödelsuppe. Kaiserschmarrn and Obatzda and Germknödel are favourites.

Morning, thought I'd say hi in case you thought I was dead.

The Mrs saw a Pied wagtail in the park the other day on the way back from the dentist. A rare sighting.

often seen in car parks

there were loads of them in Westfield shopping centre a few years back... roosting a tree on an open part of the complex. a friend and I were watching them and no one else noticed!

Yes but Brunello is only 2 seconds behind USA and in front of other Europeans that have more accessibility to cross country skiing. Pendry did alright but by the time she'd finished the weather was atrocious.
Even the mens sprint was scrappy.
