Anyone from the UK?

Not from UK but happened to catch this. I spent about a month in the hospital last year and another 3 months immobilized while recovering. It truly is depressing. I wish you the best in all ways

Thanks. Im waiting on a rehab hospital to tske me, so I can start proper rehabilitation. They say on average most people recover there between 6 to 8 weeks. Its just the waiting for a bed which is dragging on

Good luck! I had a routine operation go south and ended up with a spinal fusion. Thankfully I recovered but it was a trying experience. My heart is with you

Thanks. Op went well. Compression caused nerve damage to my legs which hopefully with lots of physio i can regain. Prognosis is good, just gonna take a long time

I get it. Had to wait months to heal before I started PT, which was also months. But I took it seriously and tried to do everything they asked. Hard to believe it was literally a year ago today and I’m back to normal. So you got this!

Sounds similar. Also have screws and a cage with a donor disc. I’m lucky. And my wife likes the scars
