Application of sharia law by country"

Back to the map from Aella.

1. It doesn't show the UK in Red. The extracted table below doesn't agree with the colour at the side, nor with the map.

2. If the map is accurate (hint: It isn't) The country that ought to be most concerned about Sharia is Russia. Perhaps that's why Russia is bombing the shit out of Daesh in Syria (and supporting Assad's regime that allowed Russia to have a Mediterranean naval port and airfields).

Ok Ogg,
My understanding of you is that we might call each other names here, but that we'll then get over it.:)

You called me stupid, I call you a typical guy who's ego feels bruised because I partially mistrusted your opinion.
I always respected your opinion, as you well know. But midway through the other thread, I started wondering whether you're as unbiased as I thought you were.

Because you sidetracked our conversation by saying that Christians used to be just as or almost as misogynists as muslims, and that the same goes with many Lit. stories on this site.
What to oranges have to do with apples? That wasn't the topic of our discussion.

Sidetracking?

Who started another thread in the GB because you didn't like the answers you got on the Politics Board?

Go away and learn to think.

Thanks for that.
And so true. Their news tend to be like that.
I do agree that I sometimes enjoy watching "The big picture RT" which (even if I try not to) might have planted an unconscious bias in my mind.

On the other hand - several of the rel. new immigrants told me that almost the entire mainstream media seems biased, because certain facts are never or only briefly brought up.

Blah blah.:)
Let's end this and concentrate on the other stuff that you're posting, because That was interesting.

Russia wont worry

they will just KILL MUSLIMS

good for them

Thanks BB.
You just destroyed any shred of credibility that I had left.

really?

Bloated SHARIA PIG, Ogg says its just cloth

You dont think my post was righton?

FUCK OFF SHARIA CUPCAKE, SUCK MUSLIM COCK!

What the OP TWICE suggested was that the Daesh version of Sharia exists in whole countries across Europe.
.
Why on Earth would you think that?
I specifically used (even if they sounded silly) expressions such as "a cosmeticized version of Sharia", "even if safeguards are put in place by the UK govt." To avoid any potential misunderstandings.

In saying that, my english communication skills are not up to scratch -wouldn't be the first time that I didn't get my point across".

don't agree with Ogg just because he fits my political views. Take for instance Colonel Hogan. We are on opposite sides of the political aisle and I don't always agree with him, but when he debates someone on something, he doesn't engage in posting links to biased sites, nor does he try to be a cute type of smart like ole AJ does. He's also proven quite a few times that Ish isn't the legal mind he likes to think he is.

AJ thinks that saying a priori and a posteriori continually makes him look smart, as does his labeling people as Kantian blah blah blah. Any idiot who has taken a basic philosophy course could use the same words and spout the same bullshit without being able to back it up.

And let's be honest, you're an alt, and you chose your sides from the start, so your bias is in full swing.

P.S. Sean, I've been trying to think of the right wing guy of old that used to post here and you've brought up time and time again how you wish he still posted. I can't think of his name right now for the life of me.

1.What the hell do you keep blabbering about about me being an alt? Are you mad? You have to be extremely skilled to fake my ESL english and my idiosyncracies. .

2.AJ has good knowledge in fields that are Related to philosophy, so to speak.
I know that because, unlike americans who are more focused on the practical, our education emphasizes the more abstract ( like math and philosophy) so to speak. We're tought in school + philosophy and such were an ongoing interest of mine after that. So I'm certain that I know more about these than you do.

Most of you lefties excell in politics, law, economics, history and so on, but show no interest in what I enjoy. Gosh, some of your discourses are interesting but others are so concrete and arrid, I feel like I want to scream sometimes.

And Ish and AJ introduce so many philosophical, social and so on aspects to their discourse, it's a pleasure to read them(even if one has to weed off the occasional bigotted remarks). Plus BB is bigotted, but his jewish-type of humour(in non-bigotted posts) is so warm and funny!! There's nothing wrong with british humour, but it's just not for me.

Sorry if it might unsettle your egoes (the "because they're racist too"card is easier to swallow)
- but that's one of the many reasons that some posters post with the R-wingers.

Thanks BB.

I don't think you needed any help from BB. You were doing very well on your own.

I'm off to deal with real life problems.

Migration is a very complex and difficult life transition.

1.On one hand, the plight of some muslim migrants is easy to understand.
Because, unlike european or christian migrants to the States or Australia, they come from a culture that is vastly different from the Western one. So the process of accomodation is lengthier and more taxing for them.
Hell, it took me several years and + + sweat and tears, and my culture is supposed to be a lot more similar to the British or Australian one, than theirs.

Therefore, as critical as I am of some muslim's men stubbornness in hanging on to the part of Islam that devalues women, I can understand in a way their plight (and why they hang on so intensely to the Islam teachings and are less willing to compromise). The Kuran is the anchor that keeps a sense of continuity and meaning in their life.

2.On the other hand, an Economic migrant (not reffugee) made this decision by choice. So they should agree to compromise and try to assimilate some of the values of the adoptive country.

It's such a complex and difficult topic...

Now #### will claim Ogg was trolling him and declare victory.

Stop being such a teenager, Disgustipated.
I always looked up to Oggbashan and appreciated his considerate attitude and willingness to share his wisdom.
This is just a one-off dispute, as I see it.

Off to taking a nap to heal your bruised ego?;)

No. I had to answer a complex email from City Hall. They wanted my input on a local administration issue before this evening's council meeting. OK?
