Quit Whining like a baby and deal wit the fact that some people will write your char talking or GO AWAY!

OOC:

Would you two please take your arguments somewhere eles so we can continue with the story? Please?

OOC: Yeah, no offense. I love a good arguement, but take it it somewhere else, why not that new thread Roland made. Looks nice. Have fun. I would love to vote on that take morgoth out or not, but I have only been here a few days, I don't know too much about anything to make a judgement, just yet.

Go back to Europe. He had just gotten here. Garret had to admit it was only a desert, but still.
Garret frowned. He did miss the green hills of Europe. Maybe...
Ussin's guards had taken him back to his room. He didn't like guards, no matter how good their intentions were.
Inside Garret took off his cloak, throwing it to the floor. Likewise went with his belt, holding what was left of his weapons.
A goods night sleep, that would clear the cobwebs, then in the morning he could decide. Besides, he also had to talk to Bella. There was something very important he had to tell her.
Garret closed his eyes, feeling the warm blankets around him. He shifted soundlessly, and fell into a peaceful sleep.

OOC:

SORRY ALL BUT I"M GOING TO HAVE TO STOP POSTING!!!!
SUCKS>>>LONG STORY

anyway, shygoddess, will be posting for the characters I've created thus far....enjoy

" Okay, now I better get on my way, don't you think?" he asked Ussin.

OOC:
If you could write something good about my characters once in a while, I would be fine with your controlling, but don't make my characters stupid jackoffs, understand?

Abdusalinm had stayed quiet for a long time. He didn't trust Saddam Ussin. Was this strange gentleman the man they had told him about since he was a kid that ruled the underground like he wanted? Was this the same man who was said to have a harem of kidnapped girls? Was this the infamous torturer? After listening carefully to the conversation he thought that maybe it was all exagerated, or if it had been true, that it could be a part of the past.

"My sword will travel the way the rose does." was the only thing he said.

Roland and Rei both looked at each other without much discussion they both said no thanks that they had other business to attend to. also it would be goo d to travel with ussin again like the old days of theivery and robbery.
Roland: Hey Rei you still using knives?
Rei: Yeah roland i am, why do you ask?
Roland: my special armomer just forged the "Holy Alliance" knives and i think you will find them good to your liking. i otssed em to him
Rei: thanks roland i owe ya 1..
we both went to a room together and talked the night away.

"Okay, I'm off", lokken said as he mounted up. Soon their hoofbeats rumbled off into the distance.

Vixen looked at Abdusalim in surprise. She was secretly pleased he would be joining them, she wasn't exactly sure why.

To hide her confusion she turned to Garret. "Garret, before you return to your room, would you come with me to mine? I have something I need to discuss with you."

Garret nodded his head not noticing Abdusalim's intense stare.

"M'Lord Abdusalim," she lowered her head briefly in goodnight before moving towards her rooms. She paused and glanced over her shoulder. "Lokken, I pray you find what you are searching for..."

She smiled at them both and sauntered out of the hall with Garret quick on her heels.

OOC: Thank you Moneytalks, for the only nice comment i've recieved so far.

IC:
Lokken and his troop rode back to the prince and got the orb back and then sped off down the route they came, the most safe of them all.

Garret followed her close. This was a big place, and he didn't want to get lost in here. Garret had heard of the stories about Ussin's chambers of horrors. He shuddered remembering the tales told by firelight.
Vixen finally reached the end of a hall, there she opened a door to her room. Garret went inside. He took a seat on a chair near the bed, Vixen sitting next to him. They had a lot to talk about.
Garret spoke first, "Before we talk about anything else. I would like to say something first. I didn't just come here to tell you of Lokken. I knew he came here peacefully, I was just not too sure about it when he busted the doors down. I came here on a different mission. A more personal mission."
Vixen had a confused look on her face. He could tell why, he remembered having the same face when he was told.
"I came here bacause I wanted to protect my sister."
There, it was out. Finally, it felt as if a great pressure had been lifted from his chest.
He looked at Vixen, hoping to see some excitement in her face. What he saw was pure terror.
"But, I can't... we can't.... I mean, you and I..."
Garret realized his mistake, "No, No, No, No. You are not my sister. No, I was talking about Bella. Thats why I came here so fast. I don't care about Lokken, you and I both know you could taken him if the situation came up. I just wanted to make sure she was all right."
Vixen was shocked. He could see that she was a little bit releaved about it though. Garret chuckled, the idea of him and Vixen, related.
"How come you never told..."
"I didn't know, " Garret interrupted her, "Hell, I wasn't even told until a few weeks ago. I will tell you about it later. We have some other more important things to discuss."
Vixen nodded, she knew.
He took out the pendant, she was as it sparkled in the light, "I took it from him before you found me. I lost my broadsword to get it, but here it is."
Garret lowered his head, "I loved that broadsword."
He handed it to her. She carefully looked at it in the light, making sure it was real. Garret smiled, in spite of himself, he had done it.
"So, why did you want it so badly?"

OOC: My previous post had me going to bed, but this sequence between Vixen and I happened before, just wanted to make sure I cleared that up.

Vixen barely heard Garret's question as she stared at the pendant watching the light play over it's simple design. She couldn't believe she was really holding it. Finally the pendant of Tristram. Her hands trembled slightly as she took a deep breath.

She turned to see Garret watching her, the question still in his eyes. "I'm sorry about your broadsword Garret," her voice was soft, warm in fact. Garret blinked in surprise at her tone. She smiled, and the smile was seductive, Garret found himself drawn to that smile. Vixen tilted her head gently to the side, seemingly unaware of the attractive pose it made. "I'm also flattered that you think I could so easily handle the likes of Lokken," she continued stepping towards him. Her warm brown eyes caught his and for the life of him he couldn't, or wouldn't, tear his gaze away.

Vixen stepped closer until she was inches from him. She turned elegantly, with a smooth movement born of years of training at stealth. With her back to him she reached back to lift the long silky hair from her neck, pulling it forward. Garret felt a lump rise in his throat as he saw her vulnerable nape exposed to him. He heard her voice and jumped a little. "Would you put it on for me?" Her voice was husky... with trembling hands Garret took up the two ends of the delicate chain and clipped it together. She shuddered and let her hair fall. He felt the silky coolness of it carress his arm.

She turned to face him again and she looked at him. She licked her lips gently, forcing him to look at the soft pink fullness of them. She slipped her hands around his neck and he felt his own arms encircle her slender waist.
"Garret, my dear friend, let me make up to you, your generous sacrifice, you don't know how much this means to me..." with that she drew him down for a kiss. He felt his blood boil as her soft warm lips pressed against his. She suddenly felt altogether warm and soft in his arms.

Abdusalim saw Garret and Vixen go into the same room. He stared at Garret's back with a big intensity, oozing hate.
He waited for 5 minutes, and when they didn't come out he went to his room. He prayed to alah before going to sleep, his prayer asked Alah to curse the infidels.

Vixen pulled back looking into Garret's eyes. Slowly he focused on her face.

"Garret... we both have an early start tomorrow..." she paused and watched as he took a deep sobering breath.

"Yes... yes you're right Vixen." He turned to go to his own room hoping she would stop him. He reached her door and opened it, sighing as he realised she wasn't going to say anything.

"We'll talk tomorrow Garret... this I promise..." Her words were soft and they teased him and his imagination as he imagined her saying something altogether different.
"As you wish, Vixen" He left her room closing the door behind him. Honestly, he thought, he really didn't understand that woman.

Vixen quickly walked over to her pack. Inside she found a small package wrapped is soft leather. She carefully opened it and inside there was a oddly shaped stone. It flashed purple and deep blue in the fire light. With trembling hands she placed it on the table with the mirror above it. She carefully pulls her hair back from her face and removes all her clothing until on the pendant graced her slender neck, the pendant falling to the point just between her collar bones. She passes her hands over the gem on the table and with a soft medlodic voice begins to sing. The gem glows softly in response and then becomes brighter and brighter. Until when she looks into the mirror her whole face and torso is bathed in the indigo coloured light.

She looks heavenward and whispers, "finally, my birthright, I ask the Goddess, please bless this wearer as you have my ancestors." With that she places her hands upward on either side of the gem and looks into the mirror as it rises of it's own accord, arching as it is attracted to the pendant she wears. The stone does not waver but slowly moves towards the pendant until they touch and a soft click is heard. Vixen's head flings back as the energy from the union floods her body. Anyone watching would see her entire being infused with the blue energy.

She gasps, her eyes fly open and she breathes heavily as if she has just been running a long distance. Trembling she leans on the table before her letting the energy disapate slowly. She slowly calms her breath. Shivering she realises the fire has gone out. She doesnt know how long the whole process took. She hurriedly jumps into the bed and tries to warm herself. As she thinks this the pendant feels warmer. She feels it warming her whole body until she is nice and toasty under the covers. As soon as she is warm the pendant returns to normal. She smiles to herself and drifts off to sleep.

Lokken rode through the forests, not tracking the time, the bloodlust seizing him in his quest to make the road safe for the company back at Ussin's palace. When he rode into a clearing, they were suddenly ambushed by many lizardmen and hellhounds, Lokken had run out of mana, so they were in store for some furious mellee combat. Quickly Lokken pulled up a demon and whispered to him," go, quickly, to Sadam's palace and tell him that we have just been ambushed but will soon clear the path", with that he pulled out his sword, as the first wave roared and charged.

Rei and Roland: as we sneaked out of the room in search of a snack...(or better yet a harem) we found ourselves back to the old days of stealth silence and determination....Roland was now clad in his theivery gear and rei was dressed as alawase..we finalyl found the kitchen and lit a few lights. we started up a fire and got out chicken, spices, teriyaki, and assorts vegtables we talked about the plan and what we were going to do about garret and abdusilum. we talked about the adventures we had been through and all of our troubles...and then in silence and near pitch darkness discussed the final part of our plan.....then we looked p and saw a low purple light. we nodded to each other and ran towards it..it lead to vixens room. we peeked in and the sight amazed rei but troubled rolando. as the energy burst filled the room rolands eyes went heavy...he grabbed rei and told him to come quickly...
Rei:What was that?!
Rolando:i cant tell you now...but i will tell you this..we are not going to bed.. we will stay up all night if need be. This is not good for our plan..we may have to bring in..him....
Rei: no way....your kidding..is it really that serious...
Rolando:yes it is rei..quickly back to the kitchen. we will keep a light on at all costs..keep you weapon handy...i have dragon sting and you keep your dragonas on you at all times so we must stay alert and ready for anything...if this is what i think it is we are in deep trouble..but hold on a second..i ran to my room and grabbed a small brown package...
Rei: whats that?
Rolando: my confirmation.... i quickly used the scrying glass and left sith a message about what i had seen
"if you know what im talking about contact me right away..if its what i think it is then vixen wont be too happy....

Rei and Roland talk when suddenly a demon rushes in screaming," gather the company, talk is needed", when they had gathered, the demon told them about the ambush, but said that it was still the safest road to go on, and help would be appreciated in their scouting.

Garret turned over looking out the window. He couldn't get Vixen out of his mind, he wondered what she was doing now?
Garret tried to think of something else. He looked out into the night, there didn't seem to be any stars. Garret looked harder, the was sure the night was clear earlier.
Then he saw it. There was someone standing outside his window. Garret got up quickly, going for his sword. The stranger tackled him. Garret felt a great crack as he hit the ground, it was his ribs. Pain sweeped up into his mouth.
Garret screamed bloody murder. The pain was unimaginable.
The stranger placed his hand over his mouth, shutting off the scream.
It hurt so bad. He couldn't feel anything else.
"Shut your mouth, before I make it worse," Garret recognized that voice. It was the warlock. He had followed Garret here.
Garret shut up, the pain was too horrible, he didn't want more.
Garret could hear men outisde the room, they had heard him, and were coming to help.
"Not yet, we still have some things to finish," the warlock rose, picking up a huge dresser, he placed it in front of the door.
The warlock picked Garret up by his shirt. He was still in too much pain to give up a fight.
"Where is my pendant?"
"You Fuck, you stole it. It was never yours."
The warlock didn't like being called names. He hurled Garret into the wall.
The fresh pain brought on another scream. He felt something else crack, it was his arm.
The warlock thrashed the room, looking everywhere for the pendant. He looked high and low, ruining the bed, scratching the walls, turning up nothing, he came back to Garret.
Garret felt blackness come over him.
"Oh no you don't. You are going to be awake for this,"
the warlock slapped him, hard. He felt his teeth rattle in his mouth.
"Where is the pendant?"
Garret didn't know what to do, this thing wasn't going to give up. He looked desperately at the door, Ussin's men were getting no closer to opening it then they were before.
"I don't know. I sold it, before I came here."
"You lie, you and I both know of it's power. No one would be stupid enough to sell it. Now, one last time where is it?"
He could just tell the beast. Vixen had it, she was in another room, go away. The pain was too unbearable, he couldn't take much more of this.
The warlock slowly walked out the window. Garret looked down, four stories, that wasn't good.
"Tell me where it is?"
Garret heard Ussin's men, they were almost in. If he could just hold out, a little longer.
The warlock shook him, "WHERE?"
Garret realized it was either his life or Vixen's. He knew the choice.
"You know," he said smiling, the pain suddenly irrelevant, "I always wanted to know what it is like to fly."
The warlock knew he wasn't going to get anything out of him.
"Tonight, you get your wish," the warlock let go.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
The scream suddenly stopped, followed by a thud. The night air seemed too quiet.
Ussin's men finally took the door down, clawing their way into the room. The warlock climbed onto the roof, going into the night.
On the ground, nothing stirred.

Vixen woke up with a start. She couldn't remember her dream but she remembered... it felt like she was falling. The bed still shook with the force of her waking. She shivered. Had she heard a scream? Was it her own. She felt a heavy sensation on her chest. She looked down and was greeted by her glowing pendant. "Stop that!" She hissed at it. It didn't glow as brightly, but it still held an almost defiant glimmer.

She focused on it and suddenly saw the rooms surrounding hers as if she was staring at it from above. She saw the hallway and guards trying to get into the room next to hers... and a beast... what was it... at the window... looking down... at...

The image suddenly disappeared as Vixen's eyes widened in shock. It couldn't be true!

She jumped out of her bed and flung open the shutters on her window. She looked down. Her heart froze in her chest as she saw the definite outline of a body on the ground. The hairs rose on her neck as she looked left to where Garret's window should of been. Instead... a horrible face grinned viciously at her. Vixen screamed! She reached for her blades, and realised she was still naked. "SHIT!" She yelped pulling her head back into the room and slamming the shutters closed. She heard the wood splinter as the Warlock beat at it.

She found her pants and slid them on quickly. followed by her vest. She didn't have time for boots and shirts. She reached for her knives, pulling them from her boot and barefoot she faced the window as the shutters flew inward, splintered wood flying. She covered her face with her arm as she sang the words that caused her pendant to glow, she felt the power infuse her hands and let her blades fly. She saw them glow with the power they took from her. They flew with deadly accuracy. The beast clutched at its chest. Blood oozed about its fingers. It stared at her in surprise, Vixen watched as it fell. The second knife protruding from it's head still glowing as it poisoned him.

She was breathing harshly. Her door slammed open as the guards rushed in with Roland and Rei close on their heels. She didn't turn to them. She grabbed her knives from the body and shoved them aside. Running barefoot down the stairs to the back entrance... she found the ground below their windows. Garret's body was disturbingly still and lying in an odd angle. Vixen moaned... "Nooooo... nooo please no!" She knelt by the body gently touching him, praying to herself. He still felt warm to her touch. Her eyes shone hopefully.

Enter The Dragon Slayer....GARR!

Rei and Roland: we rushed to the scene and saw garret....we both looked at each other and nodded...it was time...we picked up vixen in her surprise...
Roland:"you know what they were after right vixen.."
Rei:"and they are not going to stop at garret to get it"
Roland:"at this point they could hit anyone....as for garret he is fine but his body has been bent by wizardry witch i no longer practice but i do remember the spell for it! say
Mallorn, dusie, lembai. and channel your energys through the talismen.
At length she did so and garret returned to a semi-normal state...
Rei:he will live but when he wakes he may be overcome by fits of forgetfulness, sometimes he may flash back to past occourences...this sickness we cannot cure without totaly destroying his body
Roland: therefore we must keep a watch on him at all costs. i know this warlock that is after him...he is deadly and dangerous..rei...it seems we have no choice..im gonna call em in...
Rei: i see..well i guess we would have had to sooner or later...but i still dont like it!
i ran to my room vixen and rei close at my heels..i picked up an odd shaped object and chanted a few magical words.Rolando said unto the object
"Guardian Garr, we summon thee from thy slumber of stone. awaken and come forth in our hour of need! "
a bright light filled the room

The shadow plane

Sith received the call. It had been some time since contact had been established that way. Roland was in the eastern lands, and there seemed to be trouble. But Sith wasn't ready yet, he couldn't stop the ritual now, after so many ardous works and the expenses he had. _They will do without me, at least for now_ thought the snake man, as he went back to his ritual. His last conscious thoughts about the group before being completely inmersed in the magiks was _...I hope their situation is not as bad as it seems._

Vixen looked at the flash of light as it disappeared. No one appeared. She looked at Roland who looked equally surprised. "Was something suppossed to happen?" She asked, her voice calm.

"He should have appeared, something must be delaying him," Rei answered.

Vixen cursed them both and the world in general and ran back to Garret's body. He hadn't moved. "We can't just leave him lying here, we have to move him." Rei and Roland each picked up a side of the body and Vixen told them to take him to her room.

Once there she applied a herbal mixture to some swabbing and applied it to the young man's forehead. He looked so pale she thought. She fingered her pendant and Roland's words came back to her, "you know what the warlock was after don't you Vixen..." she nearly broke then, thinking that for her, Garret almost died. She looked at him, god, he was almost dead now. She wouldn't let that happen.

Her eyes hardened with resolve. She stood up. Before she left him she lifted his hand. It felt terribly cold to the touch. She bit back the tears that threatened her and told the guards to be diligent if they didn't want to loose their balls. They didn't question her command, she clearly wasn't in the mood for a discussion.

"Where are you going?" Roland asked her.
"I'm going to find someone I think maybe able to help me with a question I have..." she said leaving the room.

Roland and Rei left also, but on a different errand. They went to confront Ussin. How the hell did a warlock get into his own palace without him knowing?

Vixen stopped in front of Abdusalim's room. She stared at the door for a moment before she knocked sharply. She heard a man's deep voice float through the door. "Enter." Was all he said. She opened the door and slipped into his room. It was dimly lit and he lay on his bed, his chest bare. Vixen fought the instinctive reaction she had to that physique. Taking a deep breath she walked closer and stopped a few steps from the bed.

"I need to ask you something..."
He didn't seem at all surprised to see her there, and his smile made her a little uneasy.
"Couldn't the boy please your appetites?"
She froze at his casual reference to Garret and she suddenly remembered why she was here. She glared at the reclining man and fought to keep her voice even.
"None could give more than he..." she hissed.
His brow raised at her tone and his gaze became more alert as he realised she had something serious on her mind.
"Well, ask me my rose, if I can answer I will."
Vixen lowered her gaze, trying to form her question in her mind... "do you know... do you know anything about a family by the name Tristram?" She asked fingering her pendant without realising she was doing it.

Abdusalim looked at her carefully. She was barefoot and only wore her pants and vest, he could see the gentle swell of her breasts under the skimpy top. She had clearly dressed in a hurry. Her hair, usually neatly smoothed away from her face was wild and untamed about her shoulders now. Her eyes were deeply troubled. He voice was neutral though as he answered...

A coughing fit slowly awoke Garret. He looked around, but his neck hurt so bad he couldn't move it.
Garret looked up, something was odd. This wasn't his room. What had happened.
He had been with Vixen, that was the last he remembered. Was he in her room, no there was no one else here. And this wasn't a bedroom, it was some sort of medical room.
Had something happened to him.
An evil image of a warlock came to his mind.
"NO," he instantly shrunk back. Pain entered from every part of his bady. It was awful, Garret yelped out from the pain.
Two guards came in. He couldn't see them, but he could hear them. They were talking about some attack. Was he attacked? What had attacked him?
Thoughts passed through his mind too fast, the room started spinning, Garret felt the blackness come. He welcomed it, it stopped the pain.
Garret was inside the black, it felt so warm, so peaceful.
He wanted to stay here forever, no more deserts, no more pain no more memories.
Suddenly he felt he wasn't alone. Garret looked behind him.
That was odd, he never felt anyone else in here before. That's because there was never any other conscience inside him before now.
Garret looked, and there before him was the warlock. Sudden anger crept up inside him. Garret ran for the warlock.
The warlock just laughed, holding up a hand, suddenly Garret couldn't move. His hands and legs were frozen.
"You fool," he said, "Here I am a god, and you are simply a rogue, all you will ever be."
The warlock gave him an evil smile. Garret didn't believe it, the warlock's mind was somehow inside him.
"I know where it is now, the pendant," the warlock said, " It is on your little girfriend's neck. How would you like to see me take it off of her, the hard way."
The warlock looked up, far above them was a white light, the warlock floated up to it.
"Don't worry, only you will know I am using your body, until it is too late, that is. But for being such a sport, you get to watch from here."
His laugh was hideous as he entered the light. Garret was there alone again. Suddenly a screen appeared in front of him. He saw exactly what the warlock saw as he looked from Garret's eyes.
Garret still couldn't move, but somehow he had to warn everyone, especially Vixen.

I am the master! 3 chars at once! i am that damn good (unless someone wants to write)

Rei and rolando: Rei spun around and had a horrifying look on his face.
Rei: oh shit...we gotta get to Garret NOW!

We all ran after him weapons drawn
