Hi Everyone!

I read a story the other day on lit and I can’t get the idea out of my head. It’s an erotic romance/drama between two high school seniors—Annie Wilde and Sean St. James—who can’t stand each other. They fight constantly and their dislike for one another is a known and accepted fact. Both are very smart, so they have the same classes and are constantly trying to one up each other. They also share a group of friends, so no matter how hard they try, they can’t avoid each other. Part way through their senior year, Annie starts dating Sean’s friend Chris, which kicks of a series of events that—despite their stubborn resistance—force them to acknowledge their feelings.

As far as actual plot structure goes, I was picturing Sean inviting his friends to spend winter break with him in his parents ski cabin, without parental supervision. Too Sean’s annoyance, Chris would invite Annie. Chris is a bit of a slime ball, though he covers it well, and as soon as they arrive he starts pulling out all the stops trying to get Annie—who’s still a virgin—to sleep with him. His frustration eventually turns ugly, and he ends up attacking her (sexually or not, it doesn’t really matter). Seeing Annie so vulnerable drives Sean to step in and try to protect her, and ultimately—though he hasn’t yet let go of his dislike for her—he ends up feeling protective of/responsible for her and invites her to spend the rest of the vacation in his room (due to some plot device—all the other rooms are taken, she’s in a fight with her girlfriends etc). From there, they come to understand each other better and begin to question their long held hatred.

I want this to be a longish, plot oriented story, with lots of romance/angst/drama. I also want plenty of sex (obviously) but I don’t want that to be the only focus. In terms of the sex scenes, I picture the two hooking up when the tension becomes unbearable, but then immediately convincing themselves it was nothing and trying to ignore it. Each time that happens, they go a little further and come a little closer to realizing their feelings. I also picture a lot of misunderstandings which complicate things and add to the drama (for example: Annie assuming Sean doesn’t care about their hookup, so she lashes out/doesn’t reveal how much it meant to her, which in turn makes Sean mad etc.) I’m trying not to get too specific, cause I really don’t have a script all planned out, but I like these as general ideas.

So, here are the characters:

Annie Wilde
18
5’5, 110lbs
Very petite, delicate looking
Long, dark brown hair with a tiny hint of red. Stunning bright blue eyes and full, lush lips that almost look out of place with her otherwise innocent appearence. Fair skin with a touch of pink and a light dusting of freckles.
She’s very innocent and sweet, but has a passionate nature that she only ever lets show while fighting with Sean. She’s brilliant and works hard in school, but remains popular through her looks and sweet personality. Her parents have high expectations and she works hard to fulfill them, often at her own expense. Though she has a fiery and rebellious nature, she’s suppressed it in order to please them. She doesn’t date much and though she parties as much as any popular teenage girl, she remains somewhat naïve about the more sinister things in life.

Sean St. James
18
6’2, 195lbs
Tall, masculine and toned (without being bulky) and incredibly masculine. He has a bit of a tough guy/womanizer reputation because he dates a lot but never gets attached and isn’t overtly emotional. He keeps his guard up.
Dark brown hair, hazel eyes, strong jaw. Lightly tanned skin from playing football and basketball outside. He’s captain of both the football and basketball teams.
He’s very popular and dates a lot, though he’s never been in love. He’s smart, but he doesn’t have to try very hard at it. He doesn’t talk about it, but there’s a side to him that’s hurt, angry, and almost bitter. His mom died when he was young, leaving him with his dad who became a raging alcoholic. The only way he can deal with the hurt is to shut down those feelings and pretend they don’t matter. Annie irritates him because she stirs feelings in him (love and longing, masked as other emotions) when he tries so hard not to feel anything.

I like the idea of including other characters in background roles (Chris, other friends etc.) I think it would be best if we could both control them, so we can use them in our own posts. I think this will make the story seem more realistic and fleshed out.

PM me if you’re interested! I hope to get this up and going as soon as possible. To that effect, I’m just gonna post this intro for now while I work on my first actual post, so people get a chance to decide if they’re interested.

Hope to talk to you soon!
