All they can do is name call, appeal to lies and insist they know what you 'really' think.
That's why if the subject of something like deportation comes up, they deliberately leave out the word 'illegal' when mentioning immigrants, and pretend it's actually all about racism, bigotry or whatever 'ism' in their handbook they were told to read that day.
They have no rational positions; it's all ideology and mob mentality. The higher up corruption feeds it and benefits from their stupidity.
