My brother use to do a lot of mountain biking... he has a Litespeed Titanium framed bike... nice stuff, expensive though.

Very very nice, but yes, very very expensive.. carbon fiber is about the same weight and stiffness but absorbs shock a lot better, but.. is prone to breakage under very intense mountain biking.. titanium just doesnt break very often Wow there are a lot of geeks here
