yet another boring day in gold canyon area . and of course its overcast which is nice keeps the nasty heat away :)
 
Yesterday

Yesterday we got 3/4 inch of rain and last night a lot of lightening. Trying to rain up here in the Prescott area now.

Yeah, we had a nice thunderstorm last night in Lonesome Valley with quite a bit of rain.

But who really wants to talk about the weather unless we're getting naked too? :devil:

OMG.. I did that once! Babygirl was up on the 9th or 10 floor of Good Sam's hospital one summer and we watched the dust storm roll in.. amazing sight from that height. And I had to go out into it later to get back to Ronald McDonald house for dinner.. it was one of our low budget trips down and some days the only meal I ate a day was the one supplied at the house by whichever group adopted us that evening. Amazing place, such peace and support was always found there.. even in the midst of the tears and sorrow. They were always the second place I called when her kidney doctor would tell me we needed to get our behinds down to Phoenix.. after the call to my boss. Calling family was third on the list.. and sometimes boyfriend was on the road and he didn't even know we were gone until we were already there. We really were blessed then.. the house always got me into a room and the boss always had my back work wise.. it was call me in a couple of days and let me know how she is from him.. and offers of advance if I needed money.

Well your manager needs to let you enjoy your day off to say the least. Getting ready for work soon, but just doing my best to enjoy the morning. What are you plans for the day?

She does.. but she was looking out for me.. she knew I had plans with my sister flying out from AZ to visit next month and they are changing my schedule so she wanted to make sure it didn't interfere..

Well that is awfully nice of her in that case. At times I wish more people would do that. You must be happy to see your sis next month?

Oh yes.. if you had told us as children that we would grow this close we both would have laughed and then she would have beaten you up.. she was such a bully.
