Art for Arts Sake, Not Necisarily Erotic in Nature

This is one of the two saws I was telling you about. This is the one my hubby's uncle had me do for his friend's 70th birthday.
Hope you can see it clear enough, still looking for the one I painted for his uncle's 65th.

That is incredible!!!!

Well this thread as well as the others cinched it for me, my days of drawing are over.

I'm glad you like. I should probably feel better about my art than I do, but I have seen true masters of the apps I used to make these images and they make what you have seen here look like a pile of poo.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. This was also done in Bryce, and probably postworked.

She Wolf your daughter does some nice work. I love the troll like guy. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your pics.

Nice work Boota,
don't let that talent got to waste. Your good and I'ld love to see more. Keep drawing.

My discovery of the Erotic illustrater threads got me drawing alot more. I used to draw maybe once every couple of months now I break out the sketch book almost every evening while watching TV.

Making art helps keep me centered in life.

Thanks LittleWolf! I enjoy drawing, and I doodle all the time. Mostly on the back of paper placemats for my girlfriend's kids. Between music and writing I find it hard to make time to sit down and really work on a drawing. I do have one that I am obligated to do soon. My gf's youngest son wants me to draw a picture of Jason Voorhees impaling Spongebob on his machete. Should be fun. LOL. I do the artwork for my band's CD covers and promotional flyers, but lately that's been the extent of my drawing. I usually just do some things in MS Paint. I'll see if I can find one and post it.

It's great to see that you have other creative outlets, I wish I could play an instrument but I can't follow a tune to save my life.

This is the CD cover for our album Suicide Black. I did the skewed skull face in the diamond just to see what would come out. When my drummer saw it he suggested that I make the diamond into a razorblade. I thought it was a great idea, so I did it and added the blood, and we decided to make it the CD cover.

That is awsome

I see it also as window stickers, That would also make a great tattoo.

Thank you! I have considered getting that razorskull as a tattoo. I want any tattoo I get to be my own artwork. That razorskull now has a black background and the art director we work with has used it as interior art on our new CD booklet.

I've finally had time to really go through this thread and I am digging it! There is some awesome talent on this board. (Besides the writing.) I've particularly enjoyed your "Empty Spaces" and the rest of the series with the green ball. I like your style. I've never been much of a painter myself, but I can see a time when I will change that and go to work on it. Maybe if I live long enough to retire. LOL.

I'll have to check back here more often. 4degrees, rhino, cantdog, and everyone else who has posted their work here have made this a great thread.

a few not-so-good ones...

i've been going through the artwork threads TOTALLY in awe of the talent here... i'm pretty scared to put some of my own up, but here are a few, and i have one in my profile... hopefully the links will work!

Very nice! You have nothing to worry about. At least you can draw. :D

I don't have enough talent to draw what I see in my head, so I use 3D apps.

2 of mine Little Wolf

You have to remember these were done just about 30 yrs ago when I was a sophmore in high school The picture Quality isn't very good :(
