I hate snow...but I think this is because when snow falls and sticks it is heavier...rain just drops and for the most part is gone

mind you..your logic(if there is any) is flawed because you do hear people talk about rain fall

now had you said...

Why does rain come in drops and snow in flakes?

I'm very new to this forum. How do I safely explore this life and begin chatting with someone? How do I know if the connection is right if I have nothing to base my experience on? I have been a lurker of this site for years and enjoy the stories, I've only just joined the forum side of things...I think I've been reading the stories for the past 10 years...which saddens me when I think of it.

the best advice I can offer is to dive right in

take the time to post an introduction..telling those on the forum about yourself and the look around the forums

When you find a post or forum that interests you reply and just go from there

LIT can be different things for different people, so just put yourself out there and have fun!!!

What are your thoughts on the recent political state of the United States?

I am very mixed. Like many others I was shocked to see Trump get elected On Sunday I watched the 60 minutes and I saw a big difference between campaigning Trump and President elect Trump.

Once I got past the shock of the fact he still wants to put up a wall and fences a lot of what he said makes sense. Now will he be able to get exactly what he wants to done? I doubt it, However he does seem ready and willing to put some real work in

With that said I doubt he will be more then a 1 term President. I don't even think he will finish the full 4 years

I hope he does. Even if he's inflammatory he's better than Pence. The big thing, in my opinion, is how this will change congress and the Supreme Court. All aspects of the federal government are majority republican now.
