Yay! What time do you think y'all we get in ATL?

I got my hair done but it didn't turn out the way I wanted. I'm not a hair professionally done kind of girl but I was frustrated. The woman who worked on me didn't do what I asked but thinks I'm coming back every four weeks, and spending that kind of time and money? WTF?? LOL.

I'm back from my day trip making folks happy.

Next week looks killer for me but at least I have some "me" time with all of you guys to look forward to!

Skme and I will get to the 'burbs of ATL about 6pm Friday to drop of the munchkins with my parents; then we'll head over to our hotel near the airport and check in before getting Raven from the airport around 9'ish. We'll be around for the entire duration of the weekend.

I know what you mean about the hair. Sorry it didn't turn out the way you wanted. I'm sort of in the same boat, except my problem was trying to get a tan on my white body. I bought a sunbed package a few weeks ago, but didn't realize I have been taking a drug that causes photosensitivity. First 2 trips to sunbed burned me badly last month so I didn't go again. Got up nerve to lay out in my back yard yesterday for under an hour and I am 2nd degree blistered across my face and chest. Instead of looking all good and sexy for this weekend, I'm gonna look like an shedding alligator.

I still haven't decided what I'm going to wear to dinner on Saturday night. I guess a halter or spaghetti strap blouse is out of the question now. Guess I'll wear a skirt with a turtleneck sweater. LOL. Only thing I know for certain is that I'll have sandals of some sort on my feet.

I could do tanning for free as a secret shopper but they won't pay me enough to make me interested. Then again there is that pesky lil thing I don't seem to ever have enough of, time!

What do y'all plan on doing Saturday during the day?

I have no idea what I'm wearing either. It will come to me. I expect to be looking in my closet Friday night and scratching my head.

we are meeting at the suite first then going to the restaurant around 8:15. Then we will go to our respective places to get ready for the play party, then meet at the suite around 10:30 or so, depending on when we leave the restaurant.

It's good to be a little OCD. If fury weren't a little that way, we still wouldn't have a hotel room. I put everything off until the last minute.

But there's one thing I've failed to do and I need to do it now. This was fury's whole idea and I want to thank her for it. Thanks to her, you all get to see the folks you've been wanting to see again. She got this ball rolling, Gigi more than ablely took the direction and by the looks of the guest list, it should be a resounding success.

It's great that so many of you will get to see your friends again or for the first time and that all started with fury.

So for all that fury, thank you.

Okay... quick question...

If (and this is a mighty big IF at this point) I can get to ATL Friday night, is there someone with space/someplace I can spend the night? I would LOVE to do something Satur_day_. Depending on several factors (one being whether am I travelling solo or with a mostly 'nilla sf/geek but kink aware/interested friend (who's interest in coming to Atlanta for the DragonCon Staff Meeting that I will be attending Sunday), another being am I driving my car or am I riding with her, another being how willing she is (if coming) to hang out with my kinky compatriots) I may be arriving anytime between Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

If I'm flying solo and driving, if I can arrange crash space Friday night, I'll come down early... I'll keeping my fingers crossed.

Below is a loose head count of those who have expressed interest in coming in the past. If your name is listed below, please verify your attendance one way or the other. If your name is not below and you plan on attending, please let me know.

To answer a few questions posed above: As soon as I know the suite number, I will make an announcement so that any who will be joining us can PM me to get the info. Also, I will be making reservations for us on Saturday evening. If you can't make it to the suite before hand, please meet at Old Spaghetti Factory at (or around) 8:30 pm. No reservations will be required for Friday night.
