IMPORTANT POST FOR ALL ATTENDING THE EVENT!!


Ok, you'ns, for the last week my life has been one huge roller coaster ride and the last 48hrs have been some of the hardest I've ever dealt with. With that being said, part of that roller coaster ride has been the near cancellation of our little gathering here. *insert gasp and shock here* Canceled you say? Now, I know - I know, but don't panic. Christmas has been saved and is now better than ever before.

The hotel called me yesterday afternoon and informed me that the suite reserved by OPX for us has been bumped to accommodate for a sold out hotel. As you can imagine, near panic set in as I scrambled to find a new suite for us to use. Scouring the city, calling hotel after hotel, even offering my body as bribery for a room, still there was nothing to be had. My panic continued to grow.

As it turns out, there is a HUGE convention this coming weekend here in the city and with the tornado last month even standard rooms are scarce, much less two bedroom suites. I continued to look through the night, calling, emailing every hotel in the city. Still nothing even late into the night. I started considering the possibility of hosting the event at my apartment but when I talked to my neighbor this morning, he strongly discouraged me from having more than just a few friends at a time over; parties are forbidden. At this point my temper is about to pop, but I held my ground knowing that anger would get me no where.

So this morning, after Cooper went down for his nap, I defeatedly continued my search, hoping against hope that a room would materialize out of thin air. Well, one did. Now while it is not in the same hotel as planned for originally, it is just a mile and a half from there and is still inside Midtown. There is even room for Geoff to sleep on his very own pull out couch on Friday night if he so chooses. All is well with the world at this point. Yes, yes I was a little worried myself there too. *allows for thunderous applause to dissipate*

On to the details. Our Saturday evening events are now being held at the

Residence Inn Atlanta Midtown/17th Street
1365 Peachtree Street
Atlanta, GA 30309​

The room number will be PMed to all attenders sometime Friday after check in. Please check your PMs on Friday. If you will not be able to check your messages on Friday, contact me prior so we can make arrangements. If you'd like to look at the hotel before Saturday go here for more information.

Now for a word from Debbie Downer. Guys, I am not on personal terms with the GM of this hotel. I do not know anyone associated with this hotel and I have no way of getting us out of trouble if something were to happen here. This poses some restrictions on us that previously weren't necessary. I really hate to do this, but the fire demo can not be allowed now. I really hope you all understand my position here, this is non-negotiable. Also, where the GM of the GA Terrace was planning on making an cameo appearance Saturday night (fellow kinkster) I highly doubt any visits to the suite from the hotel staff Saturday night will be of a friendly nature; unless they are bringing us room service. Therefore to avoid such a visit, we will need to be a bit more discreet during play than originally planned. I don't know how thick the walls of this hotel are, so if you happen to be a screamer, please come prepared. If you are planning on attending the event in your strapped leather, vinyl PVC corset or other frilly nillies, please wait till you get to the room to change. Addtionally, *breathes deep* my discounted rate at the GA Terrace no longer applies to this hotel. This means it is a full price suite with the full price pinch. With that being the case, I would like to propose a collection to be taken up Saturday night to help with the expense. Any and all money collected will be applied to the room. This would help me out tremendously.

I can't believe it's almost here! And I just looked at the GT site and am absolutely jazzed that there's a swimming pool there yay! Meaning everyone should bring swim suits and perhaps we can sneak a midnight trip to the roof... My flight gets in around 7:45 so I'll probably either meet up with Snooze or TMS and then catch a ride to the Highlander with them. I'm off to mapquest all these lovely locations. See you guys soon.
