Aussie's Proclivities

I'm intrigued by the piercings. I've been thinking about doing it, but I'm terrified of the lingering pain. Never had a piercing, so don't know what to expect, but I've been mulling this one for over a decade.
I've had my ears pierced but no body piercings. Thought about nipples but eh. Ink is more my thing.
I'll see you there. I spend quite a bit of time in the gym 💪
I'm trying, man. Hypothyroidism sucks. Trying to work the sexy with what I got though.

☺️
I do it mostly for my mind. It helps build my resilience and regulates my nervous system in a way that's hard to beat.
Plus, I like being strong.
I never cared for the gym, but I understand your philosophy. When I was downrange I did get on cardio machines every day I could and would spend over an hour. I think it helped then, but not someplace I've enjoyed since.

I hear you. Been dealing with that for almost a decade and barely 6 weeks I found out I have thyroid cancer, so it's coming out Tuesday. My body also decided to stop producing testosterone about a year ago. The weight struggle is real, but I've been fortunate to finally get Ozempic and my hunger is gone and the weight is falling off.

I gained 80 pounds, or approximately one AussieGeekyGal, in a 3 month period.

Aww man, that's quite an ordeal I'm sure. But I'm glad your thyroid is coming out and the Ozempic is working. I tried getting on it myself but insurance is being a total dick about it. All my best to you, my friend 🫂❤️

The only cardio I do is sex 🤣 I can't stand doing cardio at the gym.

I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck with everything.

That's got to have been hard.

You flatter me. I had the opposite issue which was also scary. I lost over 20 pounds in under two weeks after my injury.

2.5 of no sex, does wildly wanking count as cardio?

Well, when you become as fat as I did, Ozempic is a hell of a lot cheaper than bariatric surgery. I appreciate the kind words, the VA is doing the surgery, so normally I wouldn't be nervous... but it's the VA...

Thanks. It was hard because I didn't know what was happening, but gel everyday is bringing my testosterone up where it should be ( and my dick works again, yay! If only I had something to bury it in 🤣) and thyroid meds are getting that inline, so my body is working a bit more appropriately now.

I do flatter, but not disingenuously. I know some things people feel insecure about being skinny, but I hope you don't. You look great.
