Avatar: Lightning strikes (OOC)

Xia theme for the moment? cause I like it for her

Oddly enough this song reminds me of Ty Lee for now and I'm not entirely sure why

'I Wasn't Prepared' by Eisley

Oh, when the day is blue
I'll sit here wondering about you
And how the pollen fell
All around your face in strange yellow patterns

But, I wasn't prepared for this
Oh, I wasn't prepared for this

When the morning came
The bees flew down and
Wrapped themselves around me
And that's when i spoke the word
To have them trace your face for me in pollen

But, I wasn't prepared for this
Oh, I wasn't prepared for this

Come, come back to me, my, my darling
Come, come back to me, my, my darling

I wasn't prepared for this
Oh, I wasn't prepared for this

When the day is blue
I'll sit here wondering about you

I like the colour aspect. It's like she's singing about the colour of her aura.

If pink is good and blue is the opposite of pink...

...maybe right now her aura has never been bluer.

:: quietly :: Is. Is she okay? Ty Lee?

I just wanna have someone/anyone run to her side. Should I hold back on that?

(And, yes. Xia and I have similar tastes in music right now. That song works for me, but mostly it's there for her.)

of course she isn't ok..but she'll live...

since that's the power of named re-occurring characters..... >_>

She's just slipping into unconsciousness right now(to which her next post will have this for atmosphere)

Edit: I kind of get the feeling you'd like Le Portrait de Petite Cossette, Chas... Watch it! ^_^

The atmosphere music is very lovely. Very potent and stirring.

My heart actually broke a little.

And I am watching this, off and on, and I am intrigued by it.

Conversely, I have only this to offer you in return: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3AQgQ8Yuts ...this is far less elegant, far less poignant, but if I ever need to psyche myself for a good "Avatar" post, I just watch this vid a time or three and I start to feel a little bit unconquerable.

that is an awesome vid

personally this song always gets me in a fighting spirit

That's a damn good one.

Excellent imagery, good parallels.

I'm sort of disappointed to learn that apparently no-one's made an "Avatar" video of this song I like, "Ignition" by TobyMac, I posted this before. Lots and lots of Bleach and Naruto and DBZ, and there's one spectacular "Transformers" video. But nothing with "Avatar." Weird.

That happens to me on other vids.. where I know it would perfectly with this one thing but why oh why has no one made it!

on an off note Nightwish + Avatar = Fucking Awesome!

*goes to listen to the song you mentioned*
...
*dances around* definitely a hardcore dancing song..wish I had more room in my house to move in.....

yeah if I'm not thinking of songs as themes I'm thinking of them in dance moves.. this one has a lot of drama to it .. I like it ^_^

oo slow bit..hmm needs more than one person..pas de deux

Nightwish, now we're getting somewhere. Not a huge fan of Wishmaster, though. Dark Passion Play is the epitome of Symphonic Metal.

Anyways, finally posted. After reading it, it felt sort of anti-climactic, but I guess it's not over yet.

Wishmaster is great for the sound..not so much the words I do admit that..kind of seems like they picked them out of a hat at times.

My favorite song by Nightwish at the moment is Ghost Love Score

I don't really care about lyrics at all. But Dark Passion Play is musically superior to anything else they've ever done by like 10 times.

tch lyrics are an integral part of a song if you're going to bother having them in there at all

*starts to read Katara's post and screeches to a halt a few sentences in*

Fuck.

..have I mentioned that zombies are one of the few things in the worlds of reality and fiction combined that freak me the hell out? Seriously.

*sighs* not that I'll let this stop me from reading *pulls out her trusty shotgun*

For what it's worth?

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

*shrugs* friends that I've known for years have done worse knowing full well what they were doing...like my friend Krystal tricking me into seeing 28 Days Later

and my friend Nate introducing me to a zombie novel with the only thing that would ever get me to read an entire novel worth of zombies, Death(the anthropomorphoc representation of).

Kind of sad in that I like a lot of zombie stories and movies except for the fact that the freaking undead are about tearing apart the living...

List of something close to hysteria inducing fear for UM(for future reference) in least to greatest.
Needles.
Zombies.
Things Popping Out of Mirrors.

:: hurriedly makes note of this ::

These are things which I shall shy away from exploiting in future.

Unless I warn you well well well in advance or something if it's crucial to the plot.

I, uh. I'm sorry.

In my defence I'm scared to death of pretty much fucking everything. Remind me to tell you sometime how I feel about multiversal theory and driving in cars. (Yes, these topics are related.)

lol now see I'm curious about that..

and I don't mind.. I face my fears as much as I can and keep some outward semblance of normalcy (I'm not talking about what goes on in my head.. I don't think that place has ever not been mad).

needles are the easiest I have to say..at least when they're done, they're done..don't have to worry about a random needle attack..

zombies are tricky in that strange noises will keep me awake at night. And I swear if some drunk guy comes toddling towards my car at night when I'm driving, he stands a good chance of meeting his maker by my hand.

Mirrors..... rituals(not the occult ...activities done routinely in order to convince yourself of their merit regardless of any actual effect they may have on the world) help..makes me feel a little ocd and a little like a small child again if I dwell on it..but they help

fully and utterly... so are things popping out of mirrors

my fears are only rational in that if such a thing ever did happen in real life, everyone would be just as freaked out as I am probably more.

I just happen to have a very overactive imagination and fear goes a long way to screwing with people's judgement of events. Mind I'd probably swerve around the drunk guy, but the only times I drive at night are usually when I'm incredibly tired so who knows.

There are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamed of in our philosophy.

lol exactly. So what does it hurt to be carefully superstitious?

Especially as it's not that I haven't experienced things that aren't technically supposed to exist before anyways.

As I've said before..insanity is relative.

Can't think of much to write other then some random NPC slaying (which is fun, but tedious after a while) and possibly having my characters notice the energybending begin, so I'll probably wait until that's further along before working on another post.

Unless I can convince either Ryota or Longshot to go anywhere near Smellerbee and the scary Airbender girl. *pokes Chas and smirks*

I think you can convince Longshot to go near Smellerbee.

( :: stage whisper :: I think he secretly digs her a little! )

Also, if you don't bring Ryota to Scary Chica, Scary Chica will go to Ryota.

BECAUSE SHE'S SCAAAAAAARY.

Also, he's cute! XD

Well, folksies, I may end up being rather hit-n-miss for a little bit soon.
We may be dealing with a lawsuit, and I'm not sure how much time it'll require.

(Nothing bad on my part, I assure you. Debt collectors, however, should learn to watch their mouths.)
