I really, really enjoyed this thread, but it does seem like its become a lost cause at this point. Personally, I'd be fine with doing two Avatar group threads at once since I have the room, but I also realize this likely isn't the case with anyone else who may be interested in continuing to play with the series.

So whichever one majority rules in favor of doing is fine by me. Although it seems poor Unseen's gonna come back in a few days just to find out that most/all of her current threads are dead. heh

What time period would this be taking place? After the show's end, years later?

And who the hell would I play? That's more of a question for me though...

Besides, I don't see how taking a vote on continuing a group thread after nearly a month of inactivity from anyone not named Lily or Soru is a case of lacking patience. *shrugs*

Edited to add: Just read the Azula post again. I think Lily said she made a mistake and was going to edit the post, but I can't recall. So....guess we'd need to see what she says.

It means sometimes I don't have inspiration for new posts and it can take me a while. If you can't take that sort of pause sometimes, then yeah, give up the thread, because it will happen again. Maybe not soon, but it will.

I don't read books. I don't have an imagination. I don't long to create stories.
If anything, this is like acting for me. I play roles, and if I do not feel into the role at the moment, it makes it hard to write for it. The lack of a couple other posters does not help. I was sort of hoping one of those would find Aang instead of doing it myself but whatever. I know Zuko hasn't done anything in a while, but I sort of assumed he'd want to be alone or maybe with Iroh and/or Ty Lee after his wife's funeral, not having breakfast or wandering the halls, even if it was to check on Aang. Despite Aang's situation, this is Zuko's time to grieve.

I feel like I'm interacting with the same one or two people the whole game.

That's part of why I'm really debating if I -want- to do it. We've got some very cool things going on right now, and some relationships starting to pull in there.

But since we've lost a few players to either tech problems or interest fading off, it's kinda hard. I mean, for one thing...

Azula might be a crazy bitch, but I don't think she'd be able to handle that many guys.




And yeah, I forgot the day change. Azula's talking to people that seem to have been gone for a day now.

Well if it's true the others aren't feeling it anymore and don't wish to continue, then we really don't have a choice. Lily can't be the only woman in the thread, it makes no sense, even if this were a non-SRP.

I'll wait on their confirmation before I post again.
 
I was able to stalk, er, I mean, catch up with Chas for a bit before my connection started acting up and cut things short. Essentially, she says she's still interested, but hasn't been able to get past her writers block for the thread. Hopefully she's able to resume writing soon because, dag nabbit, Ryota wants his round 2 with the second to last airbender. ;)

And my offline message from Unseen said she hoped to have herself back online this week, but we'll see what happens there.

Heh, I've seen people go into detailed conversations over whether or not Azula has a harem of virile Fire Nation 'slaves' to satisfy her until she grows bored with them. I think she could handle a weakened Avatar, a couple of water tribesmen, a usually quiet freedom fighter and her brother. *snickering*
 
I'm mainly not interested in GB because I don't really feel like writing two Avatar threads at once, and no character particularly jumps out at me besides maybe Azula or Mai. If I were to play the latter, I'd rather just do another TT GB and be Raven again since it's basically the same personality but one has a lot cooler powers. :/

Kayna is still here, just have not been able to get her voice lately. I seem to b hearing everyone else, but she is mysteriously silent. If everyone wants to keep going I will work it out I promise. Sorry bout that.

Unless you're in another Avatar thread that I'm unaware of, I think the idea of the Avatar GB thread is to nix this one and, well, go with that one. The key word there being one. There'd just be the single Avatar thread. We wouldn't keep doing Lightning Strikes.

Since Eazy already claimed Manzula, I wouldn't want Mai either. It'd be boring playing a character with the personality of a log.
