Aventures on Darmus

OOC:

I agree with you both... also Neale would be brilliant... I've only ever RP'd with him once or twice and it was a while ago now... hopefully he won't be too busy... but if he is we'll get someone to do it... even if it's one of us.

IC:

Vixen is startled by Cervantes' question and actually misses his wondering hands as they reach up to cup her breasts. He rubs his thumb around her nipples and even through her leather vest she feels that. She slaps him away irritably, but gets only a wicked grin from him for her efforts.

"I... I haven't actually named him yet..." she admits with embarrassment... "I just call him... boy..." He looks at her in surprise before laughing out loud... "Oh Vixen, only you..." he said shaking his head as he stiffled another chuckle.

"Well!" Angry she is... "you don't seem to realise how busy I was... it was hard enough keeping him fed and out of trouble without having to worry about naming him... besides... he's probably best of naming himself when he has the need..." she finished with a shrug.

She grins, turning slightly in the saddle to face him.

"Come here..." she grabs his face with her two hands and pulls him in for a hard kiss, her tongue lapping at him playfully. She turns back facing the front and looking out for Stagwart which she spies now... hog-tied.

"Cervantes... did... did you do that??" She laughs in surprise.

Before Vixen had swatted his hands away, Cervantes had given them a gentle squeeze, teasing her nipples through her clothing as he did so.

Laughing at the revelation that his son had yet to be given a name, Cervantes steadied his horse, which was just starting to stray from the path.

"No, no, perhaps that is the smartest thing you could have done... Let the child pick a suiting name for himself, then he will have no one to blame for it but himself." Cervantes said somewhat mirthfully.

The moment she turned to look into his face, she was greeted with that same expression of love in his eyes.

He let her guide his lips to her's, accepting her rough kiss, catching a taste of her tongue with his own before she broke away.

Once Cervantes's eyes and ears refocused on the world about him a moment after Vixen ended her kiss, he saw Stagwart as well. "Yeah, that was my doing..." Cervantes said, almost proud like, save for a hint of dissapointment to his voice, in responce to Vixen's inquiry. Hopping from his horse, He strode over to Stagwart's still bound form. "I'd thought you would have escaped these bindings by now Staggy..." Crouching down, Cervantes pulled the pouch of poison from Stagwarts mouth. "Still alive?" He asked calmly, canting his head to the side, examining the mans eyes for any sign of life.

Lord Malvort:

Setting astride his steed above them all, Lord Malvort looked down from a rather large hill...

He had sent a hand full of men down to meet these rough looking fools on their own ground... One was instructed to act as he, himself would act, while Malvort watched from above, expecting not to be dissapointed...

The men came amongst them, two of them sounding a fan fair as the servants of a man of state would... Malvort saw the sharply disdainful reaction with his eyes from the horse bound adventurers and scowled. "Mercenary fools..." He muttered. "No honor..." He added to himself with disgust as he locked his eyes on the prize he sought... "Gwenevere..." He sighed.

She thought it was for her 'magic' that he sought her... How foolish... He wanted her for her blood line, and her body only, it was not a secret that her family had the blood of dragons in their veins... What he didn't know is that Gwen and Muffin were half sisters, and that the dragons blood was from Muffin's father...

Gwen seemed, and had always seemed the stronger, what was a man to think, comparing them?! To him, Gwen had to be the one of dragon's blood, after all, how could one so innocent, so nieve be of such a potent blood line?! Blood showed in one's stature in the world that Malvort came from, and he knew it had to be Gwen...

The troops came forward, surrounding the false Malvort, tressed in thick armour...

"I seek Gwenevere of Talmarus..." The false man nearly shouted, in an attempt to sound commanding. "If she be among you, send her forward!" He added, he was young, far younger than the true Malvort, and his voice cracked. Malvort fought a scowl at that, his harsh stare boring into the young man.

The young man quavered in his concealing armor, somehow feeling the razor's edge of Malvort's stare above him...

The young lad swallowed and choked back a whimper of fear.

Cervantes:

"How about I just rend you limb from limb and toss them to the wind, you little piss ant?" Cervantes growled before falling into a fit of laughter. He looked over to Vixen and stalled his mad laughter, she was taking the boy seriously... Cervantes fell silent and sniffed the air. T'wasn't him she took as a threat... He latched on to the man's scent imediately. His eyes locked on Vixen's form. She and he could survive this, but the others might not... Val, he knew val even before Rocky... He couldn't let Val fall... Aristus, arrogent though he was, something about Aristus sung to Cervantes's soul... Perhaps the shared arogence? Made no matter... And Rocky... Rocky was innocent in this all...

Then the girls... Muffin, blast his hasty words... He had promised she would come to no harm... Wait, was that just ale induced drivel?! No, it was a stain on his conscience... And Gwen of all things... Scenting the air, Cervantes could smell Malvort's distant lust to bed her... It was Cervantes's endless curse, he had to challenge this male's claim upon the fertile female... He looked over to Vixen, knowing it would complicate things immencely, but there was little he could do to stop it... They locked eyes for a brief moment, then Cervantes whipped his horse into action, away from the party before they could even react, save for vixen, and up the hill to confront the true Malvort!

Vixen...

"God DAMN it Cervantes you GOD DAMNED Penis-following FOOL!" She yelled at him!

He had managed to unceremoniously dump her to the ground before he'd flung himself towards the dark man looking down at them from his vantage point.

Luckily she was agile. She landed in a crouch.

She stood up and glared at Gwen who looked back at her in surprise.

"FUCK!" She hissed angrily. "Where the HELL is my horse? Valdimer... go after him, he'll get himself killed, he's gotten the scent, he'll challenge Malvort all on his own and he'll be killed for his efforts GO!" She slapped Valdimer's horses flank with the palm of her hand and his steed leapt forward.

Vixen stalked up to Gwen... "if he dies... I swear..." she left the sentence unfinished but there was a definite threat behind her words. She walked over to Stagwart who was still hog tied and kicked him viciously in his stomach, the "oomph" of pain made the fake Malvort's eyes water. She grabbed Stagwart by the hair and used her knife to release him from the ropes Cervantes had tied him up with.

She stood in front of the false Malvort arrogantly.

"Listen... either you give me your horse... or..." she didn't have to finish explaining his options, he near tumbled off his horse before any of the guards to think what to do. They came to their senses only as she leapt on the horse pulling Stagwart up with her. Their swords drawn they all pointed at her. Convieniently ignoring the rest of the party that was behind her.

"Stagwart... tell them to stand down..." Vixen pressed her knife into the man's throat.

Unseen Creature

This party of random creatures has been incredibly interesting to watch but the yare getting tiresome. I have watched them since the town and they are funny. But this whole Malvert, no wait Melvirt, no it's Velmirt, oh who cares; he's annoying.

Well whoever this Lord guy is I think that Cervantes is in for a treat when he gets there to confront him. Ooooooh Val and Artistus are gonna be so mad when they find out what I've done. Vixens funny, a little to attatched to Cervie but hey we all gotta make mistakes.:D

Those other knights sure did suck though I killed them all easily and had fun draining their blood outta there feet:D Quite a mess though. I'm surprised that with BOTH Vixen and Cervantes around that they haven't spotted me, oh well all the better when they get outta the forest.

*Chuckles softly to self* OOOOhh boy, this is gonna be good :)

OOC: Don't get that last couple of posts at all. By the way, when you kill off characters, you can't bring them to life when you need them later. So much for a whole Stagwart and Co. side issue that could have been fun to play out later. Jeez, whatta waste.

IC: Muffin wasn't too sure what was going on, but suddenly there was a guy acting like Malvort and the real one was up on a hill. Cerventes took off after the real Malvort, dropping Vixen onto the ground.

Muffin grabbed the reins to Vixen's horse and galloped Dragon over to her. A melee of sorts had broken out, but what the hell was going on, Muffin did not konw.

Gwen shouted when Dragon lurched into motion and kicked her horse after her sister.

OOC:

Sorry.. got a lil' carried away.. was a late night post.. it happens.. have edited my last post accordingly.

Valdimer

The slap was loud, and Val's horse reared into action, speeding toward Cervantes.

"CERVANTES! YOU FOOL! STOP!" But his words were to no avail. When Cervantes was in this type of mood, little could bring him out.

The wind blowing his hair back, Valdimer pushed his horse harder, almost reaching the reins of Cervantes steed. But by that time, they had reached the top of the hill. Val pulled hard on his reins, and stared, face to face, with Lord Malvort......

Cervantes:

Riding gleefully up the hill, Cervantes was wearing a maniacle grin. He heard Val shouting something about being a fool, but he paid it no mind, at least Val could admit it... Heh. Cervantes began chortling like a mad man, which wasn't a surprise, as he was one...

Cervantes had guided his horse to a halt, pinning Malvort, who was still mounted on his horse between himself and Val.

"Hey." Cervantes snipped at Malvort. When the man made no real reaction, only staring imperiously at Val, Cervantes barked "HEY!" again, pitching the pouch of poison square against the back of Malvorts head, it made a poof sound and a cloud of poison drifted in the air for just a moment. Malvort's steed took a step forward at his riders urging and craned his head about to lock eyes with Cervantes, looking none too pleased.

"I could have you killed in a most horrifying manner for that act boy..." Malvort hissed angerly.

Cervantes straightened up in his saddle, taking on a mocked stature of imperiousness at Malvorts words. "And I could kill you a hundred thousand diferent ways before you could even piss your trousers in terror... Fucker." It was a fair imitation of Malvorts own comment.

Malvort seemed taken aback by the instantaneous retort. Cervantes only cocked his head ever so slightly to the side, grinning maliciously at Malvort, stained teeth and all.

As it was whenever he traveled with Val and Cervantes, Aristus casually walked into this oh so nice discussion. He was looking around and really didn't care too much about any of these people.

He got up to where Val and Cervie were. "Gee, greeting the local enemy with usual distaste and hatred huh guys?"

This "Lord" Malvort didn't seem to scary at all, but looks can be decieving. Aristus looked at Malvort and grinned. No this wouldn't last too long.

Unseen Creature

Sitting in this cheesy armor watching Val look all tough (chuckle) and Cervantes doing the same (A little bigger chuckle) was almost too much to bear. Val was a pussy cat and Cervantes went after anything that had a pussy. These weren't exactly terrifying men. :D

Of course Velmirt (or was it Melmart?) looked about as scary as my little buddy, without the little fangs and bat wings of course. Plus, I have seen all three of these men in battle and they aren't too bad.

If only I had a boulder:rolleyes:

Lord Malvort

OOC: I finally got a chance to respond to Ravie's PM, and all your kind words. What can I say? Flattery will get you EVERYwhere! I see that Malvort has already been posted for, and I haven't taken time to read the whole thread, so please forgive me if my Malvort is a bit... off. ;) And if I screw it up too badly, I'll not be in the least offended if you choose to ignore this post altogether.

Lord Malvort contemplated simply having his men cut this insolent whelp down where he stood, but decided against it. Such hot-blood could be made to serve him well, if handled properly...

"You needn't die today, son," Malvort explained to Cervantes. "I'm here to talk to the Lady Gwenevere. You seem to be a friend of hers, and I would not see her saddened by your brutal, slow, and agonizing death." The cold gleam in his eyes told Cervantes that madness and battle-rage were not always accompanied by bluster and noise.

Cervantes:

Pausing for a moment as though considering Malvort's words, Cervantes reached up and scratched his beard. Then he began to laugh, letting it build to a rather LOUD bellow. He cut his laughter off abruptly. He lowered his brow, keeping his eyes leveled coldly upon Malvort, giving no obeisance to the man's title as a lord. "Do you really think I give a fuck what happen's to her?" He paused again. "Do I look like an honorable man to you?!" At this Cervantes shifted in his saddle. He fell silent then, and when it appeared that Malvort was about to reply, Cervantes shouted. "I WASN'T FINISHED!"

"What I DO care about is when some arogent, pompous FUCK like you thinks he can up and kill the one's I lo... Ve..." The word caught in his throat for some odd reason, but he still said it, and of all times... Just as Vixen had come into earshot... "And of ALL the cowardly ways to do it?! With poison..." At that, Cervantes gave Valdimer his "hold me the fuck back or I am gonna disembowel this mother fucker!" look.

Lord Malvort

"Very well, then. You other men, are you of like mind with this yapping cur?" Not seeing any signs immediate disavowal of Cervantes, Malvort nodded. "On your heads be it, then." He then slowly nodded, and rode awsy... just far enough to signal the men he'd left poised to elimante any who would oppose him. A hail of crossbow boltes headed toards each of the people tathered at the top of the hill.

Cervantes:

Cervantes was struck square in the shoulder, and rolled with the force of the quarrel's impact, slipping his feet from his stirrup's as he was thrown from his horse. He was on his feet just as Malvort's men began reloading.

"Rrrrrrrahhhh!" Cervantes growled loudly as he launched himself at Malvort. It was all a blur. No man should have been able to recover from such an assault so quickly... As malvort's men locked their quarrel's into place, Cervantes's mass slammed solidly against him. As his men lifted their cross bows, Cervantes yanked Malvort up by his hair, holding him between himself and Malvort's men. And as they leveled to aim, Cervantes forced Malvort's head to the side, baring his stained and wicked teeth.

Cervantes could feel Malvort's unsheathed dagger pressed against his inner thigh, ready to plunge into his artery.

Everyone was silent for half a moment, until Cervantes sniffed disdainfully. Malvort, as much as hated to admit it, was obviously a smart man... But, sadly, not smart enough. The dagger was made of silver.

"Stand down and your precious lord keeps his throat intact!" Cervantes shouted, keeping his wicked teeth close enough to Malvort's throat so that the man could smell his breath.

The tension was thick in the air, especially since the quarrel that had struck Cervantes was still jutting from his shoulder.

Lord Malvort

Malvort called out to his men, "Do as he says!" In a quieter voice, he spoke to Cervantes, "On my word, you may leave now. Harm me, and my family will spare no expense to hunt you down."

Almost Unseen Creature

A helpless giggle of uncontrollable laughter escaped his mouth, then completely into a frenzious gutteral throated laughter. This was almost too much to bear without happiness and bloodshed. Will in the midst of laughter the closest armored idiot proceed to voluntarily lose the top of his head. Kind of like taking the top of a jar off, which of course completely exposed his brain. (MMMM yummy)

:D
Although this was extremely disgusting to those around him what came next was purely gooey. Disembowling someone is nowhere neat as it should be. Oh well. Grabbing the intestines this creature choked the life out of 2 or 3 guys before the rest of them cautiously decided to fight or get their asses handed to them.

"OH WE SHOULDA GOT THE MONKEY!" this obviously insane creature yelled out.

Fangy was enjoying all of this :D :D :D

Cervantes:

"I'll leave now if you swear upon everything you have ever held sacred that you will keep your hands off me an mine... Do YOU understand?" Cervantes growled lowly in Malvort's ear. His grip tightening with ever few words.

"Harm you? Why would I want to do that now? As it is you are not even a challenge, I think this little scuffle has proved that... I have delt with street rats more lethal than you... I'll give you a few decades or so... Then we'll see, okay?"

Cervantes watched as Malvort's men lowered their cross bows at their lords command. Only a moment later did the screaming start. Some one else was out there, Cervantes had been ignoring it since the last town, but now, it seemed the sad, sorry excuse for a mad man decided it was time to strike.

With a sigh, Cervantes pushed Malvort to his knees. Looking about he sighted Val, who was busy examining the newest few dents in his armor. Then Vixen, she was hit. The urge to slaughter Malvort at that moment was unimaginable. Instead, Cervantes rushed over to Vixen. She was already pulling the spent quarrel from her flesh, but the need to be at her side was undenighable. She didn't even have a scar to show for her wound by the time Cervantes reached her.

OOC: Yay Neale!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IC: Gwen sat silently on her horse, just to the side and behind Vixen's. She ws tuned into whatever was going on at the crest of the hill, though she couldn't hear it and appeared to be staring at the ground. Muffin had less subtlety. She stared in open mouthed astonishment at the scene being played out.

"What do we do now?" Muffin whispered urgently to Vixen. Muffin thought perhaps running would be a good thought. Dragon flattened his ears and snorted. He thought zapping Malvort would be a good plan, but Muffin was utterly against gratuitous zapping.

Valdimer

Val sat atop his horse, pulling bolts out of his aromor, watching Cervantes make a very bold move. Valdimer could fell the trickle of blood run down his shoulder. "One of them got through." he said, in a soft voice, more to himself than anyone else. Val dismounted, and let the reins of his horse go, his horse moving slowly down the hill, still within earshot of Valdimer.

His sword still in its sheath, Valdimer stood, eyeing each and every one of the archers, coldly. "Cervantes, we dont need any blood shed today. There will be another day for this' he said, looking toward Malvort now, " grab Vixen, and move down the hill." as he finished those words, Val unsheathed his sword, and held it in a defensive postition, warning off any who might try and take advantage of the slight retreat.....

Lord Malvort

"What would you have me swear on, if my word is not good enough for you, warrior? You release me, and you live another day. You slay me, and you spend the rest of your unnatural life as a hunted animal. Your choice." In a louder voice, he called to his men, "If this miscreant does not release me in 10 seconds, fire at will. Slay everything and everyone. Give me a fine escort to Hell!"

Cervantes:

Cervantes laughed at Malvort's words. "A little late for that Malvort... I sugest you keep your presence here brief though... I might become... Annoyed with you..." Cervantes was helping Vixen off her horse as he looked back toward Malvort. "Fine Val... Lets just get the fuck out of here... Malvort's stench turns my stomach."

OOC: Thank you for joining Neale! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Don't take Cervantes's character to heart, thats just how he is, you don't know how happy we all are to have you join the thread man!!! Kicking ass!!!!
