what odds am i given that TO will be benched by the halfway mark on the season? :>

i don't follow college ball, sadly: way too much information.

i'm kinda looking forward to the philly/giants game on sunday w/ equal parts hope and dread. big blue's secondary is generally playing pretty well and they've defended TO before w/ some success. the game's at 1. i just hope that come 4, i'm not crying into my beer/wine/cocktail.

I'm hoping to watch that game (instead of Dolphins vs Bills which is scheduled) and then might get the Broncos Vs Chiefs game and get to watch the Chiefs get hammered without Trent Green.

can i get a consensus going on calling any future miami/buffalo games surf & turf? :>

scaly: doh!

the dolphins are usually referred to (incorrectly) as the fish, whereas the buffalo bills mascot is actually a bison. hence the surf & turf reference, which while it normally refers to lobster & steak, still sorta works.

You know I had heard that before but didn't join the dots earlier. Silly me.

sorry about your chiefs, phaedre.

good stuff scaly: nice win by your pats. :> although really, that outcome wasn't really in doubt. :>

I thought Damon Huard did fairly well but the tide turned when he caught and fumbled his own deflected pass. Could have been worse though and they actually looked good for most of the game.

Pats looked good.

I see that TO is out for a few weeks with a broken finger.

i didn't see more football news until this morning but that's a darned shame about TO. he does work hard on the field and as much as i dislike him, you never want to see a player injured.

i still can't believe the outcome of the giants/eagles game.

I hope you people that stayed inside and watched football yesterday did so because the weather was lousy. here it was a beautiful day, sunny and temp in the 80s. I worked outside most of the day, but it was just nice to be outside.
Well by the time it's shown here I'd be mad to be outside working given it would be pitch black...

Glad you had a nice time outside yourself though.

phaedre: "somewhere on the edge of reason" isn't particularly illuminating WRT your time zone. :>
