When I was younger and all the little girls were playing with make up and dress up to attract the boys.. I was riding motorcycles and playing basketball with them. I never learned.. and now my knees probably wouldn't let me stay upright in them.

That is true.. I still have my thin AZ desert blood..
My Goddess' boyfriend sent me a video of her playing in the snow last night.. sometimes I still marvel how the product of my blood, raised in the desert for 15 years so totally embraced all that is winter on her move to NJ..
She flew into NJ on the day of the last winter storm when she went east, boyfriend took her out to dinner and it started to snow while they were waiting for a table, she was gazing out the window and trailed along behind bf and the waiter as he was taking them to their table so she could watch just a bit more snow fall.. Waiter raised his eyebrow at bf in a 'whats up with her' kind of gesture.. Bf replied it's snowing. Waiter came back with 'So'. Bf told him she has never seen it snow before.. Last night she was tossing handfuls up into the air and laughing as it clouded around her, wading around in about knee high levels.

I'm from South Florida, moved to DC area last year. I'm good with the cold for reasons I don't fully understand. One other thing I don't understand is why traffic comes to a standstill at the first drop of rain or snow.
Snow is still a novelty to me. It's still weird to see white piles covering the ground.

Well, I already put in my day's work this morning.
Had a wonderful 2am to 9am shift.
It wasn't snowing here, but it's been miserably cold and rainy overnight.
Has been like that for the past two days.
Looking out my window now, though, seems to have finally started clearing out.
Ultra windy, though, as a clearing storm tends to be.
