Does Authenticity Matter Here?

Hate to be a Dinosaur but another factor here is years ago there were no HaHa or Like buttons so if you came across anything that piqued your interest you would be more likely to respond which would encourage communication, as convenient as they are, like buttons are not the best thing.

I fully agree with this. Engagement is more than clicking a button.

If people genuinely don’t care about authenticity and are just here for a quick ‘outcome’, then… why has anyone replied here?

This isn’t just a scrolling site with images and videos out in the open, everything is hidden behind links. There are threads, conversations, stories, personalities, inside jokes… people follow each other, reply to each other, build familiarity over time spent engaging with each other. Even this conversation right now… I doubt anyone is getting anything out of it in that sense, yet people are still engaging. Because it’s interesting, and people here aren’t just looking to bust a nut.

So clearly, there’s more going on here than just that.

And that’s where my point comes in because for some people, it really DOES matter that there’s a real person behind an account sharing pictures, experiences and stories. Not in a “marriage” sense, or even in the “dating” sense…. but in a very basic, human interaction sense??

It’s important to some that what you’re responding to is actually ‘someone’ not Jerry stealing images from behind paywalled sites like OF and sharing them here.

And as you will read here there have been people who have met up with other litsters irl and had a great fucking time).

Us women that share ourselves here aren’t just content my dude. We’re real people… 20% of the time and I’d like to point out that you can have really fun online relationships with us if you treat us like women, and not just content!

Was speaking generally, I don't believe it matters to most. I actually prefer authenticity, but I don't expect it.
