I think that if you can write whatever you like in a world with no solid boundries, it's sometimes good to introduce less than we have in the real world. It's been pointed out a story I just posted has an unrealistic storyline, which it was praised for. As has been stated, in the real world you need safewords and other such things, but in a fantasy you don't. I prefer to extend the limits beyond what you'd do in reality.

However, I personally am not turned on by the supernatural, so I wouldn't take it in that direction myself.
