I was tripling a recipe that called for 3 tablespoons of milk. Rather than measure out *9* tablespoons of milk, I looked online for a conversion chart from tablespoons to cups (or fractions thereof). Nine tablespoons = 0.5625 cups.
The chart, however, was a little ... anal. It went up to 90 tablespoons by ones, then to 100, then to 200 by 25s, then 250, 300, 500, 750, and 1000 tablespoons. Who the hell is going to multiply a recipe that calls for tablespoons of something enough times to equal 1000 tablespoons (62.5 cups, or almost four gallons)?!?!?!
This is really boring. Thanks.
