Beer club

Every time, I drink beer, I throw up on the bushes. Especially after the 12th can.

If I still collected beer cans, like I did as a teenager, there would such a good selection to pick from these days. That's a good one.

It's in the recycle bin. As is the bottle from yesterday's 2014 Nobility barleywine from King Street Brewing.

So many of the cans we collected when starting out came from trash cans. On family trips, we'd go through garbage cans at rest areas, that was prime hunting for ones from out of state. In the seventies there were only about 50 breweries, so the possibilities were much more limited too.

I had friends who collected cans, but only from beer that they tasted. Looked cool, on the wall of a dorm room. I was on a team that traveled in college and I always tried to bring them back something new from the states.

Same beer, but a 2011 this evening. This one has a hint of black cherry. Just a hint. It's a very nice sipper.

That's a good looking fridge, what are those magnums on the lower shelf ?

I just order six of these on the advice of a beer aficionado friend. Probably pick them up this weekend.

The link pops to a DEN HAAG ENGLISH-STYLE IMPERIAL OLD ALE winter warmer, but it says a shandy. Interesting.

And the Dr's wife prolly enjoys the bubbly.
