I’ve experienced kinda the same…so for past couple of years, I’ll only do long edging session (3+ hours) every two weeks…in between, I’ll do only an hour or 90 minutes of edging every couple of days…the 3 hour sessions are ALWAYS with viagra and smoking a nice bowl of Sativa…short sessions no drugs…I find that is a great mix/limitation on a very pleasurable hobby.
