Merton checked his watch quickly, still another twenty or so minutes until the first classes began. He gave Biana's hand a gentle squeeze then a careful tug, urging her to follow him down a small corridor. At the end of that he turned right quickly, walking past a few classrooms until reaching the end of the hallway. What seemed like a blank wall confronted them, he pressed his free hand onto a section of the wall then pushed, it gave a satisfying click, and the wall slid aside.
The room inside was small, but quite comfortable looking. There was a few chairs, obviously taken from the classrooms around, and a table with playing cards scattered on top. "Welcome to Merton's room." He said, gesturing grandly to the room and smiling back at Biana.
Merton slid the room shut, making sure to be unseen by anyone outside. "You aren't alone here, Biana, I'll show you around town later and you can settle in a little better. Oh, by the way, only you and I know about this room." Merton took a seat, smiling up at Biana.
She was so attractive, and to think that she held his hand, it was more than Merton could ever have expected. But he wasn't about to argue, he knew what it was like to be alone in a strange place.
"Take a seat, Biana. Get comfortable, we have a little time without interruption."
