oh dont get me wrong i tend to push my son towards sports, i feel there is a societial advantage to children who particpate in sports. i saw it growing up as a child, those who played sports got an edge...both in having large friends...and the ability to charm the ladies....

I can relate. I wasn't a runner either, than I saw that damned episode of the biggest loser where they did a marathon. And my stupid self signed up for a 5k...

Everybody thought I was a nerd but I really was not as I never got good grades. I was not anything really in high school. Kinda why I am the way I am now with not caring what people think.
