Black Hawk's Treasure

Ashley

She was having a horrible nightmare of a dream, watching as those around her she loved and cared for slowly die. Odd they were trapped on a ship, even stranger that none jumped off. They only looked at her with a solemn sadness.

That's when the soft voice in her ear, the touch of warm lips on her skin slowly drew her from dream land. Her eyes opened only to see Thomas looming over her. Forgetting everything, she smiled sweetly up at him.

"oh.. I was having a horrible dream.." She smiled again, her hand coming up to caress his cheek. "but that made it go away. Kiss me again?" She smiled, forgetting time and place and how mad she was, she simply wanted to feel him touching her once more.

Then a throat cleared in the room and her head turned. Eyes widening, she realized where she was and what had happened over the years.

"Sorry." She sat up and pulled back away from him, her head resting against the wall. "You needed something?" She yawned a little, covering her mouth and stretching. She couldn't recall the last time she had slept so soundly?

Her mind cleared and awareness settled in her foggy mind. Her eyes went from Thomas back to Krysta and then back once more to his....he's made his choice... her mind knew it without him saying a word. Stiffening a little, she tossed off the blankets and removed herself from his bed. She did not let on she felt anything, didn't let loose the pain she felt boiling inside either. Instead she put on the best smile she could and turned to Krysta.
"We find them yet?" She had one love left in her life now, her ship.

Krysta ~

Closed my eyes when he started to wake her in the most pleasant ways. Wasn't out of anger, hell, I don't think I have any anger left right now, wasn't sure how I felt. Instead, breathed in deeply keeping calm as possible. Letting out a little smirk when she asked for another kiss, that only made her look my way.

"No, we have not found them, it'll be almost a days travel before we get there...... And, well, it appears you and I need to talk."

Lowered my gaze, slight smirk let out again unable to believe that I was right here asking to speak to her. Wasn't sure of how to start this, it was hard enough not knowing anything about her.

"You asked me once before who my mother was.... I still do not know the answer to that. The reason, least I've been told, that Brian wanted nothing to do with me, keeping me a secret, is because....."

Fell silent again, remembering those times that Sophie called me all sorts of things, claiming that is what Brian said I was.

"Because, my mother died when I was born. Brian felt like I was some demon child or something. Handed me over to Sophie thinking she would be able to treat me like a demon should be treated... Grew up knowing that if I told anyone who I was, severe punishment would be layed. Sophie said that...."

It was getting harder to talk about this, keeping such things to myself, being raised in fear of telling anyone. Couldn't look up to her, she had said that her mom died when she was three. I have no idea if it was the same woman or not; but iin some ways it would make sense.

"I don't know if there was more to why they kept things like they did. I never even saw Brian once in all my life, all I ever recieved from him was a peice of paper with his mark on it, giving me the tavern."

"Everything else was about you. Even where Sophie is concerned, it was about you.......... You may think that I hate you, or jealous of you....."
"But it is nothing compared to how she feels about you."

Didn't even care if Thomas was in the same, it was of things he should have been told a long time ago. Even to him, I was always scared of the punishment Sophie had claimed would happen if I spoke. Sometimes it felt like there was more.

"I only hate the things I know that you have done, but she.. She hates you, hates your every being. As I said, I don't know if there is more, the way Sophie kept me....."

Memories started to flood in, making it hard to stand. I was even speaking as if I was distant, lost in the memories. Shook my head for a moment and went to sit on the bed, hands were shaking.

So now Krysta wanted to talk? She had a funny feeling this was Thomas's doing, not Krysta.

Here it comes. She thought to herself. The ol' 'sorry to hurt you but we decided we're perfect for each other' crock she did not wish to hear.. So it did amaze her a little when Krysta volunteered to go on with what was on her mind.

And strangely.. It had nothing to do with Thoms... Now was this a good sign or a bad one? She relaxed visibly and sat into a chair beside the bed. So who was this 'Sophie' woman and why did she want Ash deceased? Good questions, she had to remember to ask Krysta about this 'grudge' her entire family had.. what few there were now.

Krysta went on to tell a vague description of her childhood and Ash had to admit she felt sorry for the girl. That was no way to grow up, but she had it about the same.. Only she wasn't dubbed the spawn of satan. A small part of her wanted to smile, she still had a chance to win Thomas over, trouble was now this pesky little sister was invading her mind.. which she did not want.

Krysta seemed reluctant to speak of it, although the fear and hatred lingered in the girls eyes and stance.

This made her feel like an even bigger louse for thinking what she just thought about Krysta. The poor girl had it worse than Ash had it growing up. No mother they had in common, but Krysta did not even know their father... but why?! Why did he do this to one of his own and why did he keep Ash around but ship off Krysta to some whore? Then the answer came to her...

"I grew up, thinking, acting.... breathing as if I were a boy, not a girl.. Up until I matured and shown interest in Thomas did things change.. And when I refused to heed his word and stop seeing Thomas.. That must be when he decided to interfere. I have to admit, he was convincing. He shipped me off too Krysta." Ash gazed up at Krysta a moment and then shrugged a little in confusion, "Had I known.. things would have been different because I would have made certain it was." They were empty words now since she could do nothing about it, she could not even give her father the 'dressing down' he deserved.

Ash's mother died suddenly but Ashley never was told how she died, no one spoke of it. Brain said it hurt too much to speak of his wife. Ashley had accepted that answer, fantasizing it was some great love of his life.. Was it? Or was it something else? They would never know but the longer Ashley stared at Krysta the more of her father she could see in the face across from her.. The more she could see of herself as well. It was possible given the time frame for them to share the same mother... But who would know now? She remembered another instance, Brian dying. The things he said, knew he was dying...

"On his death bed.."

She shivered a little, this bringing up even more unhappy memories she sighed and went on, "He mentioned having no family except me and that he hoped I did better than he had. Better than all here and became a real lady, much like my mother. Only I had to marry someone he approved of, not a sailor. Funny how the heart doesn't see occupation or status when seeing the one they love.... I do not wish to dwell on unhappy things, but I have done no wrong to you and my.. our father does deserve your hatred and anger.. " Ash stopped there she did not wish to argue the past anymore and she wasn't going to defend herself yet again. She should have fought harder for what she wanted instead of thinking so little of herself to believe Thomas married another.

"I have nothing against you Krysta.. other than you trying to stick me every time I turn my back to you.. And you stand between me and some one I love. Truth hurts and sounds cold but it's true. You may be jealous of me for having the house and a cold hearted father.. and I may be jealous of you for.. It doesn't matter really." She fell silent, so many things swirling around in her head, she wished for a moment she was sleeping again.

"I don't know this Sophie, but if she gets near me she will meet the same fate Vallen will find. The black cold sea." Ash's promise was to get some redemption for all the pain and misery caused by mislead people. Ash stood slowly and eyed Krysta carefully, "This is new and a bit awkward for me. Emotions weren't shown in my home, probably not yours either. Thomas taught me how to show them, so I can say this without feeling like a utter idiot.. but.. Well." She huffed, this was harder than she thought.

"You are the only family I have left on this earth. I know no grandparents, of no other relations except you and I... Blood is thicker than water, so I am told... maybe when this is all said and done we'll have a chance to become..... sisters...? Or at least put aside the anger those two foisted upon us enough to think before sticking." Ashley gave a little half-smirk but stood in place. It was up to Krysta now to make an effort because frankly Krysta still looked like she wanted to stick Ashley with her daggers.

Krysta ~

Her words seemed distant as the memories tried to force their way in. Ash kept saying she didn't know Sophie, part of me could see that. If she knew Sophie, then find out about me, I would have been the one to get punished. Then, then she said Brian didn't even know Sophie? At least, being his sister anyway. Obviously he knew her somehow, or how else would I end up with her?

Looked up to Ash confused at what she was saying, fighting with the visions trying to keep them at bay. Sophie always complaining about Brian,

my dear brother this, Sweet innocent brother who has everything, giving it all to that litttle wench of a daughter...

There was more, far worse things she had said, but I didn't want to hear her voice. It's bad enough she's going to find out that I'm here, here with Ash. Ash may have said that Sophie was going down, yet, suddenly fear hit with the realization that I'm going to be facing Sophie soon.

"I....Sophie......."

Sophies' threatening words were ringing deeply in head. More I tried to fight it, more alive she seemed to be. Granted it may have been years, but other than Thomas, Sophie was all I really knew.

"You I can understand about not knowing.... But, Brian?.. You mean he didn't know.."

Finally the tears started forced their way out, I had promised Sophie I would never speak. Once she finds out.... She'll know, she always knows.

"Sophie is Brians sister. She has been after him for as long as I can remember, the way she spoke of him, I could have sworn he knew. She feels that because she is oldest that she should have gotten everything. Instead, got nothing. She intends to get everything she feels is hers. The ship, his lands, houses, everything. And she will do whatever it takes to get all of it."

Wiped the tears, it was clear now that I was more afraid of Sophie than anyone else. I knew what she can do,

"Sophie isn't dumb, she may be whore. But she has many connections, she has more power than you can possibly know. I wouldn't be surprised if she knows we are coming. She is probably setting up some trap. She has a way of knowing everything.... She'll even know that I.........."

"Look, I don't intend on hurting you anymore. I felt threatened, you were threatening everyone around me, including Thomas. But for now, I can understand we are allies. Maybe we'll find out if blood is thicker.. For now, we are allies. Only time will tell."

Right now all I could think about was Sophie and the things she would do to me when she finds that I have spoken. I may know how to fight, but Sophie always had a way. Always.

"Right now, lets just get the ship back. I don't wish to face Sophie any longer than I have to... If at all.."

Layed down on the bed, sadly smelling her scent. Though, right now I didn't care. I just wanted to hide, praying that Sophie won't find me... Yet, she always does..

Ashley

She stared at Krysta laying on the bed, huddled, weary and fearful of this .. whore! This abusive worthless being named Sophie.

She hadn't come far enough to offer comfort, she doubted Krysta wanted anything from her but for her to vanish completely... Now what would she do? She had the training, her father taught her well.. the crew.. Thomas at one time.. her schooling. She may be a lousey captain but she could fight.

"Don't worry about Sophie.. She won't lay a finger on you or anyone else.. What's left to deal with is her and I.. No one else." She sat silently in the chair, her eyes wandering to Thomas now who sat beside Krysta.

Should she leave? Did she really want to? Deep down she didn't. She feared Krysta's hold over Thomas, she feared if left to themselves Thomas would be lost to her.. But what choice did she have? She couldn't make him accept her, she couldn't very well sit in this god aweful hard chair all damned night...

"There another empty bunk somewhere near by?" She felt drained, vulnerable and tempted to tell Krysta to leave.. But that wasn't her place, nor her room. not even her ship. She gritted her teeth a moment and tried hard to think of something else other than these two rolling around in his bed.

"Yeah," Thomas said, getting up," There is another bed, and I'm going to take it."
He turned, at the door, looking at the two women. He saw the same look in their eye, the one wanting him to sleep with them tonight, each one afraid in her own mind, and needing more than just him, but his comfort he could provide.
Thomas just couldn't see himself denying one while he helped the other. He couldn't pick one, not here, not while the other was right here.
He just couldn't let Ash leave the room, as he kissed Krysta, or the reverse.
Sighing.
He knew the only answer, at least for now, was to deny both of them... or more importantly, him included. All three of them had to sleep alone tonight.
He'd decide, and he had a good idea who he'd pick, who he could spend the rest of his life with, but not tonight. Too much has happened, and they were just starting to like each other. He didn't want to come between them right now.
"The bed's big enough for both of you. I'm sure you two have catching up to do. Girl talk and all that."
He gave a little laugh, something helpful after all of the serious discussions they had not a few hours before.
"Tomorrow we take back the Mystique, and then off to treasure. In the morning, we'll plan the attack. It shouldn't be too hard. Sophie's tricky, and she knows were coming, but she doesn't know we have two ships, or this much manpower. I think a sneak attack should work. I'll tell you in the morning. Get some sleep."

Krysta ~

Watched how Thomas left us, left US together. First he expected us to forgive eachother, now he's teasing about us sleeping in the same bed? Yea right. A part of me understood why he left, another part was torn. At this moment it didn't matter, it had to be hard on him, both Ash and I have been selfish in our own ways.

"Well, I'm tired of talking about meaningless things that can't be dealt with right now. Or any longer for that matter. As for Sophie, if what you say is true, then again, only time will tell. I know her all to well and if she wants me, she'll have me."

"I made a promise, I broke that promise and to Sophie, that alone is a deadly sin."

I got up from the bed walking towards the door.

"I guess I'll be right back. I need to grab something that I think we both need."

Walked out headed up to the crows nest where I left the bag full of mead. Some reason it surprised how many bottles he actually gave me, hadn't really realized it before.

Sent one of the bottles to Thomas with a crewman. Whether he'll want it is a different story, I would have gone myself, though, it wasn't proper for this moment. Thomas felt that Ash and I needed this time together, he needed this time alone. Oddly enough, it was understandable. I didn't like it, but it was needed.

Walked back into the room where Ash was still sitting, it was like she hadn't moved at all. SAt back down on the bed handing her a bottle.

"It's rare that I share this, normally only share with Thomas. But in this case. Well, you can use it as much as I can right now. There's plenty."

Had like five bottles left. One was already gone from earlier, another half gone, which is the one I took for myself. Another to Thomas, now a whole bottle went to Ash. Still, there were five left.

"He amazes me sometimes. Going to have to reallly thank him when I see him again."

Smirked to myself at the thought, started to finish the bottle I had started.

"So, well, have any girl talk you wish to talk about?"

For some reason that just sounded funny, laughed a little as I leaned against the wall.

Another Captain? oh please...

Billy grinned, biting his lower lip in excited anticipation. The woman on his lap bounced, letting him feel her ass jiggle against him. It pleased him to no end.
He whispered something her ear, and she whispered something back, just as naughty.
"Where have you been all my life?" Billy said, as she nibbled his ear and giggled. She'd been bought and paid for, thanks to his captain, the man who know how to throw a party. The wonderous James H. Fairweather. James was a great man, and even better captain. After their little fiasco tonight, he had promised ale and pussy, and boy did James deliver.
The cute maiden on his lap now, bent over him, ample cleavage pressing into his chest, her tongue whispering dirty words between nibbles on his ear, and her hand moving below the table, and playing with the ever growing bulge in his pants.
"Upstairs," The word was husky and drawn on her breath. Billy could feel himself being pulled by her very sex towards an upstairs bedroom.
She was already bought and paid for.
James sat in the corner, nursing some of the bartender's private stash. He sat alone, while most of his crew either joined in songs, drinking games, or got to know the already bought and paid wenches a little bit more.
She giggled, taking his hand and leading Billy up.
Curiousity played about his hormone driven mind though. As horny as he was, and as much as he wanted to mount her upstairs, show her what a real sailor can do, he also wanted to speak to his captain.
"Later," he promised, already hating himself for the mistake he made, "Just a little bit, I need to talk to the captain."
She leaned in, gave him a lingering kiss, her fingers just gracing his already shrinking member, throbbing and pulsating with the thoughts of what they might have done.
He already cursed himself for this.
She bounced away, eager to take another man up on the same offer. She was bought and paid for, after all. Before the night was over, she'd have several lovers.
"James," Billy sat down, still flush, and a bit angered that he had to do this right now, "What was this all about tonight?"
James shook his head, taking a big gulp from the bottle, "I just wanted to see, is all."
"You signed us up for a fucking crew."
James paushed, giving a laugh, "We are sailors, are we not?"
"Yes, and we have a ship. What did you want with us offering services aboard the fucking Mystique..."
There was a long and solemn pause, as James sat there, a single finger playing against the lid of the bottle on the table. Billy switched glances from him, to the party, and then outside, where the tallest mast was the ship they had almost boarded.
"You know who used to own that ship, right?"
"Aye, it's the most famous in all the harbor, probably. Everyone knows the ship. It used to be Brian's."
"Do you know who owns it now?"
"Sophie, I think. That's the name that's been thrown around here all night."
In the pale night, James shook his head, "No, she doesn't. I know who owns it... or, more importantly, who's supposed to own it."
"Who?"
"Brian's daughter."
"Shit, which one? Rumor has it half the women on Pirate island could be Brian's children. Half the men too. That guy planted seed like he was trying to repopulate the world."
"Ashley."
Billy, who'd been laughing at his own joke, shut up very quickly. In the hushed silence that followed, he realized just why James had done what he did.
"No, your shitting me? I forgot man, it's just... I'm sorry."
"IT's ok. Not your fault. You're not supposed to remember... I am. Ashley owns that ship, it belongs to her."
"Why in the hell would Ashley sell that boat to some whore?"
Sophie's name was just as popular on the island as Ashley's herself. They knew who she was, or more importantly, who she used to be. James could remember her himself. She'd taken his virginity, for a couple of gold coins and a bottle of rum.
"That's what I was going to ask her as soon as we ll got aboard. That fucking Vallen got in the way though."
"You planning on taking the ship then? We could do it. With a few allies on the island, we could take them down. Wouldn't take much."
"No, no. I don't want to do that. It could be something completely innocent. I just want to make sure Ashley's ok."
"How long has it been since you've even talked to her?"
"After she got back from boarding school. That was when we were supposed to get married. We... uhh, we had a fight though. Her father had already died, and she didn't feel she had to marry me anymore."
"You ever stop loving her man?"
As if to answer, James took another swallow from the rum.
"I just hope she's ok."
"All right. So, what's the plan then?"
"The plan? We stay here, and we keep an eye on this Mystique... More importantly, we keep and eye on Sophie and Vallen. If something up, we'll know soon enough."
"Aye captain."
James nodded off to the woman Billy had been courting earlier, who stood at the foot of the stairs, motioning for him to come over.
"I think you have a friend."
Billy turned around, his eyes lighting up.
"May I be excused?"
"Aye, first mate Billy. Take it easy, she doesn't know how long you've been out at sea."
Billy just grinned, walking towards her.
"That's the whole point..."
James finished his rum in silence, his eyes on the Mystique, quiet in the harbour.
"... Where are you?"

Stow away ~

She had been sleeping in the sloop past few days, no-one has been around for weeks and now suddenly it was moving? Hidden in a corner in the bottom deck, no-one had noticed her because of how she made the crates into her bed. Looking just like normal crates, she did this on purpose so she wouldn't be found. Now, now it was time to emerge and find out why and who it was on this little ship. Wasn't much for her to hide behind without getting caught, but she didn't have a choice.
Peeked out of her hiding her spot after the voices had gone. Names were spilling out everywhere, Gunner? Mia? Preach.. Who were these people? Where are they taking me? Slowly crept up to the top deck in hopes of getting off before the ship was to far out.
It was to late.
The little ship was already a good swims past the docks, would have been hard to make it back there. Plus she was hoping she wouldn't leave her things, at this rate, it didn't matter. Just as she turned around to go back down to hide again and think she ran into someone. Her blue eyes wide with fear, they were going to think of her as a stow away, but she wasn't. Deep raven black hair danced in the wind as she waited for the person to make their move. He didn't seem threatening, but then again, you can't judge people just by how they look. To them she was a stow away and she was scared of how they would treat that. Her small frame took a step back to get out of arms reach of this stranger.
He can tell by looking at her that she had been through some rough times, her clothes were ragged. Though she seemed clean, hair was brushed and still shiny. Her clothes is what gave her away, the back of her shirt was torn as if she had been whipped. Or in some kind of fight, yet she didn't have any weapons there were visible. As far as he could she had no marks on her either, least for now it was hard to tell. She kept taking steps back down to afraid to speak or turn around.

Ashley

He just walked out and left them alone....... WAS HE INSANE??? She stared wide eyed at the door as he shut it quietly behind him.
Did he think they would instantly 'play nice'?

"Well... aint that a pisser.." Sitting back in the chair, she watched as Krysta jumped up and walked out.

"Well that's a good way to solve the troubles.." Whiskey was the answer Krysta had, and she agreed. It would do nicely to ease some tensions.

The room was empty and she felt a little lost. Everyone just up and walked out and here she sat with out a single clue on what to do now? She wasn't the captain, so she couldn't go on up and start commanding the ship.. Though that did sound a might more promising than sitting in a room with a woman who wanted her dead.

Krysta came strolling back in a few minutes later, bag in hand and filled with whiskey.

"A girl after my own heart.." Ash smiled brightly and took the bottle which was offered.

"Here to.... Family." She snorted the word and drank deeply for the longest time before breaking for air. "Potent shit!" She sucked in a deep breath and grinned as she let it out. A few more like that and she'd be a happy little sailor.

The bottle half way to her lips she stopped and stared at Krysta as if she had grown a third eye. "Girl talk?" all was silent for a second before both burst out laughing.

"Does this shirt make my ass look fat?" Ash mimiced in a flighty high voice. Rolling her eyes, she drank more and more until that bottle was entirely bone dry.

"Well..." She hiccuped a little and excused herself like the proper young woman would do then belched outright.

"I say we burn the... the whole damned island and let lucifer sorte'm out." She grinned, Krysta tossing her another bottle.
"What say you?"

Krysta ~

For some reason it surprised how she was drinking the stuff down. But, soon I started drhinking almost as fast, sadly though I love to savor the taste.

"What do girls talk about anyway?"

Both of us being more like tomboys and hanging around the guys all the time, I doubt there would be much *girl talk* happening here.
Laughed at her last comment about burning the place down. For as reasonable as that sounded, it would take a lot to have it happen. Thought was most pleasing though, couldn't deny that in the least.

"I think at this point Lucifer would go mad. But it does sound like a plan."

Finished off the rest of the one bottled and began another. Realizing this isn't going to be enough the way we were drinking this stuff down.

"Only problem is, Sophie and Vallen won't be on the island we burn. Can't very well burn the the mysitque."

Started laughing hard to myself at some thought that just suddenly came.

"We.... could hang those two.. on a pole by their toes.. in the middle of town..."

Couldn't even finish the sentence, the vision alone was to funny. Feeling the buzz hitting me again, only stronger now that I was drinking like it should be. Fast and hard.

Ashley

Laughing, She had to admit the picture was down right humourous as Krysta went on to detail the 'hanging'.

"... In the buff! Middle of winter... We could egg them.. rotten eggs.." Snickering a little, she downed the last of the second bottle and hiccupped. "excuse me."

Rising, she teetered on her feet a moment before stumbling to the bed. Landing on her hands, she pushed on the bed a moment, turned carefully and planted her butt on the bunk.

"scootch over.." She giggled, kicked out her legs and flopped back onto the bed.

"ok this is better.." Sighing, Ash didn't know what to make of anything, and with this numbing mental state.. she didn't really care to try.

"ya know.." She sighed, her eyes closing slowly, "I thhhhink I loved Francis since.. *hiccup*.. we waus... anyway. no matter what happins.. no trantrums for us.. kay?" She grinned and rolled to her side. "no to sleep.." in seconds she was passed out.

Krysta ~

I just laughed at how Ashley plopped herself on the bed mumbling something just before drifting off to sleep. Something about Francis? That was odd, always thought Thomas was her one true love, now she almost sounded like she was remembering someone else.

"Yea, a truce.. for now anyway.."

Whispered as she slept, knowing she didn't hear it. At this point I was nursing my thrid bottle, no way in the mood to be sleeping. The thoughts of the past few days were pushing their way in. Some so real it felt like it was happening now, others were distant as if in a dream. I don't even remember falling asleep, at some point it felt like I was, other times I questioned if I was.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Stow away
Just before the man was going to say something, or do his worst another came. A female at least, didn't mean she was no safer, but another male it could have been worse.
"No... no I'm not with him... I was... I was sleeping... I don't know who he is.. I... I think I'm lost now... where are we going? Please I mean you no harm.."
Her words were as frightened as she looked, speaking softly yet quickly, trying to keep focus on what was happening.
"This ship ..... I didn't know anyone owned this... I was just sleeping....."
She backed herself into a wall, unable to move back anymore. To scared to pose a threat, unsure of her bearings.
Mia
I studied Preach a moment mulling over his comments. I could not honestly say which way Ashley was going. I doubted seriously the girl even knew what her main goals should be in either case?
"Perhaps. And perhaps she is too doe eyed over Thomas to see anything else? I remember how they were inseperable." I also remember her father screaming at her for hours over her choice in men.
"I do know she doesn't stop to think she just acts.. That reminds me of Brian. And do not like how we are going blindly into this. She should be on board here, not chasing cock yonder." I wasn't one to preach, I loved a good toss as well as the next gal, but when a ship hung in the balance? When her livelyhood was being threatened?
The girl had to be daft at best.. For now.. No ideas what to do but fight to regain our ship. I had things to pay, a house to build and debts owed as much as the rest of this crew. Hard hours, years, battles, all of it and the big pay off Brian was seeking only costed us more in blood and tears than in results.
"We'll see what she's about soon enough Preach.. soon enough. Just hope she's not the worthless cur her father was." moving along, I helped to shorten the sails and then went hunting for Danny to load the cannons and such.
Ash
Waking sometime later, she noticed that despite the whiskey, she felt better than she had before. Noticing Krysta still sound asleep, she peeled off the blankets and silently crept from the room. Moving with a stealth only a light footed person could manage, she hunted through the rooms to find Thomas.
She had no idea what time it was, their position or what not, but she knew she needed a plan inorder to get her ship back. Best thing to do would be to discuss it with him and their options before she set out to the sloop.
Get both of them in accord and then move, best idea she had right now. There was one last port out here before nothing but ocean for leagues and leagues.. She needed weapons and her crew needed to know what was happening and how'd they'd move in on the Mystique.
She found him asleep on a bunk by himself, sprawled out and lightly snoring as well. She smiled a little and stood watching him a moment.
"Thomas?" She spoke softly not wishing to scare him awake. Men could be jumpy and dangerous, especially sailors. But he didn't stir. Moving to his side, she knew Krysta was out and there for...
She smiled knowingly and bent over Thomas, her lips slanting slightly over his as she kissed his complacent lips. inhailing his scent, she felt a tingle spread from their kiss and again kissed him, her tongue tracing along the seem of his lips. Her fingers toyed with his neck, lightly caressing.
"Thomas.. wake up.." She whispered before kissing him a third time.
Sophie
"You know what to do." She spoke the final words and dismissed the men.
"Tie her off. lower the plank.. I got a man to see." She looked over the dark waters and smiled, a real smile. She was close to her goal now. Changed into breeches and boots, she trekked down to the dock and double checked positions and sent out sentries to bring word.
"Come along Vallen, and don't dwaddle!" Taking a few with her, she stationed men in the Inn as well. Her firearm stuffed into her waist, she went seeking a man she wanted for her first mate.. A real monster as some said, but a damned good, deadly ally.
"Watch for Ash, alert me the second you spot her coming. I want her alive.." She eyed her men hard to get her point across. Ashley was her's to deal with and no one elses.
She took Vallen to the inn with her, got them food, baths and ale. A great way to spend their time as they waited... And her darling Vallen paid for it all.. She smiled to herself, knowing soon she'd be that powerful woman she knew she was meant to be and live like a Queen.
Thomas tore through the velvet blankets of sleep that had enveloped him, gliding like some angel. For a moment, he thought he was still dreaming, and gave a bit of a smile, as the lips still played upon his.
And then, reality came back to him, and he knew where he was. Here, with her. She had found him.
His hands, cautious at first, moved up around her, and held her close as he began to kiss back. His lips alive, tongue dancing with hers. As THomas pulled away, he wasn't surprised to see it was Ashley.
"You're breaking the rules," He said, not at all ashamed that he had done so. With a heated grunt, he picked her up, and brought her into the bed with him.
For a moment, he could feel her there, the weight of her beside him, her breathing deep and rhythmic against his chest. Her hair splayed out on his shoulder, the smell of her, thick and lustful, teasing his nostrils.
It took all of him to resist the urge to take her right there.
Instead, he simply held her close, and missed the feel of her in his arms.
"You're worried, aren't you? I remember you sneaking over to my room and kissing me awake every time you were worried over something. Your father, or that school, or some man who had crossed you."
All of that bravery, as a front. Somewhere inside was a scared little girl, like always. A woman still searching to be held and hugged, and whispered in her ear that it was all right.
He kissed her forehead.
"We'll get it back. I assure you. They don't even know we're coming. Hell, they don't even know we're alive. That is the best advantage. My thoughts are, it won't be a war, so much as a slaughter."
His eyes, wide and twinkling, filled with that can do pirate attitude looked at hers longingly. He didn't know how long this could last, this perfect little moment, but he did know it was only temporary. All of it, in the whole world, just a series of temporary moments.
Still, he clung to it as much as possible, hoping, wishing, praying upon whatever god there was he could have just a few more minutes.
Ash
A shiver passed through her with a viscious stab of longing the second he responded to her kisses. The fire spread, melting her against him. She said nothing, merely smiled as he pulled her onto the bunk. She fit perfectly against him once and still did. Curling against him, cuddling close, she relaxed completely.
"You're worried, aren't you? I remember you sneaking over to my room and kissing me awake every time you were worried over something. Your father, or that school, or some man who had crossed you." He spoke softly but he knew.. Some how he always did know when she came to him. She didn't have to say a single word, but she did hug him closer to herself.
His lips brushed her forehead, assuring her as before.. a long time ago. She felt a tear slip down her cheek and a lump rise in her throat. She nodded meekly and still said nothing. She couldn't speak if she wanted to. She missed this, she missed him. If only... She hated those, but it still creapt into her mind.
For a brief moment she wondered what rules he was speaking of? But her lids grew heavy once more and his scent invaded her system. She wrapped herself against him a bit more, her hand resting on his strong beating heart, her head on his shoulder and her leg resting atop his. She shut her eyes and drifted between sleep and this sweet reality.
Krysta ~
Hadn't known how long I was sleeping, felt like forever, at the same time it only felt like a few moments. If my body would listen to my head and move when I told it to, the sun would tell me how long it has been. Oddly enough, my body said it was to damn comfortable to get up and move. Even though Ash had left, feeling I knew where she ran off to as well. The thought sank in deeply when she never returned.
Finally my mind yelled at my body to up, reluctantly it did. Opening the door and there it was, that damn sun told me it was midday. Bright and shining, blinding me on first impact. Hate the sun, wish it was an overcast, wouldn't have been so bad. As with everything else going on, no such luck.
Listened in on a few things with the crew as to where we were and our progress. So far things were good, considering how the leaders of this ship were all sleeping. Least, I had hoped he was sleeping still. Even if the little princess was with him, granted that thought still lingered and tore me up that she would just expect him to take her back. Most of all that she trying to get him back. Part of me didn't blame her, but, even if things worked out for them, it would never be the same. I think Thomas knew it deep down, it was her that didn't seem to know. If she did, she hid it well.
It didn't take long to find them sleeping in eachothers arms, the sight crushed me. Oddly enough I didn't care enough right now to do much. It hurt to see them both sleeping so peacefully, it should be me in his arms, not her. Then again, after the things I have done, I wouldn't blame him for takeing her back either.
Sat there for the longest time just staring at them, hating her with jealousy right now. But, there wasn't anything I could do to her, called a truce and she seriously hasn't done anything honor for me to do much.
Noticing there was a gap between the bed and wall, just enough for me to slide in and slowly get into the bed on his other side. Refusing to touch even a finger on her, I curled up next to him. Every movement I made was slow and steady, not wanting to wake either one up. Laying next to him I didn't want to fall a sleep right away, just layed there staring at him. After sometime, I did at least close my eyes letting my fingers caress his hair and neck.
Melvin Morecock
During his watch at the wheel, Melvin watched as first one, then a second woman staggered drunkenly into captain Thom's cabin. Treasure and pleasure, Melvin , the captain had said earlier in the day. What treasure there was still lay beyond the horizon, yet the captain's pleasure lay closer at hand.
"Cap's got his hands full, hehe, Pete?" Melvin laughed.
"Awwwwwwwwwk, nice handfulls," his parrot squawked and hopped one legged acropss Melvin's shoulder.
"Aye, Pete, that they were, that they were," Melvin chuckled and blew smoke from his pipe and watched it waft it's way forward. "Nice and ripe," he smiled, wistfully remembering Leia as she lay on his bunk in the inn ashore, stretching her back and thrusting her pale globes into his face...................
"You like those , dontcha?" Leia laughed as she curled her hand around Melvin's head and pressed him against her naked breasts. Melvin only managed a low moan in response as he sucked her breast into his mouth. OHHH, yeah, you do like 'em," she mewled as his tongue swirled around her hard pink tip. Pushing him down on his back, Leia knelt on her hands and legs above him as he sucked greedily on her breast. "You're gonna miss them when you sail," she teased, "Oooh yes, and they're gonna miss you. Just like I'm gonna miss this." she curled her hand around his swollen cock. "MMMMMMMMMMM, my favorite mizzenmast."
"Then come with," Melvin whispered , letting gop of her breast, "sail with us again."
"Not this time," she sighed, "not this time. Between my concussion and some unexpected business here, I have to pass on this one, but I'll be here when you get back."
"I'll miss ye, lass," he laughed and began sucking her nipple again.
"MMMMMMMMMM, no doubt, but you have a way of finding your pleasures, Melvin. And if this trip is anything like the next one, there'll be women aboard. Never seen so many women on a ship in my life. Some of them are bound to fall yer way," she laughed and pushed him flat on the bed. "For now, enjoy this." Leia began to move over him, rubbing his chest with her full breasts as her hand stroked his engorged manhood.
"MMMMMMMMMMM, " she purred, "Who do you think it will be?" Reaching his groin with her breasts as she rubbed downward, she rubbed the tip of his cock around her nipple, oiling it with his precum. "Maybe Ashley" she teased, "She's so mad at Thomas, she needs a good roll in the hammock." Taking his cock and placing it between her breasts, Leia began to rock back and forth, squeezing his cock with her fleshy breasts. Melvin moaned. "Hmmm?" she asked, "maybe Krysta, would you like that? You gotta pry her out of the captain's bed, first." Melvin's cock rose out of her cleavage and Leia slid her tongue over the wet tip, drawing out a silver string of precum connecting her tongue to his cock. Raising her head up, she stretched it out until it broke and fell on her breasts and chin. "Don't lie," she laughed, squeezing his cock tighter in her cleavage and moving faster, "I bet you might even give ol' Sally a tumble if you ever cross paths again."
"ye gods,lass, " Melvin moaned, " "How can I think of anyone else with that luscious pair wrapped around me meat?"
Leia laughed and increased her rhythm. "A bird in the hand, hehe, Melvin?"
"Well, yer a pretty bird," he laughed.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaawk, pretty bird, pretty bird." Pete cackled from the rafterrs. "Taht's a pretty pair."
Leia laughed and rocked back and forth, caressing Melvin with her breasts until he moaned, shuddered and came, the first jet splashing under her chin, the secod into the hollow of her throat and his final spasms emptying himself on her full breasts.
"Mmmmmmmmmmmm, that's my pirate," Leia moaned with joy.
Melvin leaned against the ships wheel and replenished his pipe. "Ye never know what's across the horizon, Pete, but that's one port I look forward to visiting again."
"Awwwwwwwwk, shiver me timbers," Pete replied and Melving laughed, holding the wheel, pipe between his teeth, wind at his back and the tent in his britches pointing at the moon.
"I was wondering when you'd get here," His voice was soft, sweet, and teasing in her ear. He winked at her, full well knowing what Krysta had done. He hadn't pretended to be asleep, but had woken up as she stood looking at them.
From then, he was curious at what she would do. She could have yelled, screamed, threw a fit, and he wouldn't have blamed her in the least. Any woman seeing her man with another would have done the same thing, maybe even more.
A sick trembly fear rose inside him as he remembered those sharp knives she always wore, and how, sleeping, his rigid member was very vulnerable to her.
Needless to say, when she slipped in beside him, he was more than happy to welcome her.
He smiled, and bent down to kiss her. It was sweeter now, more innocent and simple than when he kissed Ashley. His kiss to Ashley was of long rememberance, and times long passed. Krysta was of new beginnings and a life to look forward too.
Still, he had them both in his arms, snuggled, resting, and he still didn't know which he wanted to stay.
In fact, he was beginning to feel the need for both of them. Not just deep in his loins, which had long prayed and hoped for two women to share his bed, but also in spirit, and in life. Ashley was his moral compass, someone who disagreed with him on every aspect, not because she wanted to argue, but because she needed him to see another point of view.
And Krysta was that solid rock by his side, who could weather anything out. Someone he could hold on to, and rely upon when something came amiss.
Choices... choices.
It all came down to a choice, and a tough one at that.
"Not now though..." He kissed Krysta again, forgetting for just this short while that he would have to send one out, away to her own life. For now, he wanted to hold them both, close, and be thankful that they were here with him.
"You smell soo good," He said, wiping a strand away from her face, so he could look into those dazzling eyes of hers. Something stirred in him when she looked at him like that.
He remembered the same feeling when Ashley had pressed against him in an all too nonchalant way.
Ash
Her brain slowly came awake hearing the vibrations of Thomas's voice. She did not awake enough to hear him completely, but she was aware of his hard cock pressing against her thigh. Sighing, her hand trailed down and wrapped around the thick shaft, stroking gently as she dozed in and out of sleep.
Every now and then her hand would pause as she drifted and then move softly, unconsciously up and down the length of him. Sighing, she smiled in her sleep and kept her head tucked into his shoulder. She was horny and hot under the blankets but too sleepy to remove them or her clothes.. but this was nice enough for now.
Krysta ~
His kiss washed everything away, for those few moments it was just me an him. Not wanting the kiss to end, knowing it would. I did have thoughts about walking out instead resting next to him, somehow I couldn't leave him with her again. His words about always leaving were lingering some when I was watching them.
Now, now his kiss and the way he let me lay next to him like this is what I needed right now. The warmth of his body next mine, the lightness of his touch meant so much to me. The look in his eyes were filled with so much passion.
"I.... I did not want to leave you again... I'm...I'm sorry."
Was all I could whisper in response, there was more I wanted to say but the words wouldn't come out. Everythiing that needed to be said was said at this point. Thomas could see that I was still beating myself up for what had happen, my eyes told more than words could say.
Pulling my arm back between me and him when I felt her hand move, my fingers still lingered along his neck just behind the ear, and in his silky hair. It wasn't easy with her here, for now, it was better than being out there. And he seemed to have wanted me here beside him. With that thought, nothing else seemed to matter for these few moments. Specially when I kissed him with more love and passion than I could ever possibly feel for him.
