Black Hawk's Treasure

'Salty Dan' Moore

He yawned, and changed his shirt back to his new one, taking a few minutes to rearrange himself. He kicked off his boots, enjoying the familiar feel of the ship under his bare feet, and he left his quarters, deciding to look over the crew...

But first, a little tidbit of breakfast. He licked his lips. There was nothing quite like food. He moved towards the galley, stopping only when he heard the doctor. He grimmaced, and turned back around, deciding to spend the day above deck instead....

Mia

I'd show that woman a thing or two! I knew how to get my way and by damned I was going to get it this time too!

"CAP'N! I need a word with you!" I marched over to where Ashley stood. "This.. THAT! ... WOMAN! will not listen to me!" My hands were again on my hips as I stared hard at Ashley.

"Well Doc, you aren't captain.." Ash tried to solve it with a little obvious comment but it seemed to only fuel Mia more.

"She needs to bathe! She will not listen to me, why she... look, okay. I have to eat this food and I just can not imagine, nor would I WANT to imagine what's crawling on her.... her person! Mud, filth, dirt. HELL! I bet she has bugs all over her Cap'n. Can you stomach that? I can't!"

The captain was turning a little green herself so I pressed on, knowing I would win if I kept on and pushed forward.

"I am not asking alot Cap'n, just that she bathe and rid herself of any lice or bugs or clumps of foreign stuff that might some how end up in my food and cause me to be sick for days if not weeks! I do not think a successful captain will work all that well if her crew is all laid up in bed.. With due respect cap'n..." I stopped my tirade as people began to turn and take notice I was ranting at the new captain.

I wasn't going to back down in this, "Either she bathes or I go!" It wasn't too far out to sea yet, I could swim for it. Anything but eat another meal worried I'd be sick with something fatal.. Well I wasn't going to tell the captain that Sally has never made anyone sick, it was for her own good I see this through. Maybe later she would thank me? Maybe not but I know the crew will!

"Alright, tell her I said to please wash up."

"Aye Cap'n and thank you for understanding." I gave her a smart little salute and went hunting for Sally.

Finding her cooking where I had left her only made this easier. I spotted a barrel of sea water in the corner with nothing in it. It was reserved for the fish but.. This was WAY more important.

"The cap'n said I am to see to it you bathe.. And bathe you will!" I slammed the door behind me and set the bar firmly in place.
"Now ya gonna do this on your own or do I have to?" I rolled up my sleeves and prepared for battle. Good thing I towered over her, this might be a bigger chore by the look on Sally's face. Perhaps I had best recruit Salty or Preach to help? I'd have to see.. Smirking because i won, I moved towards Sally menacingly.
"Now come on Sally... This won't hurt a bit..."

Mia

I did what I had to do, I jumped for her and came down hard. Rolling a few times, I grunted with pain as my side came into contact with a table.

"Bitch I may be! But I'm clean!" I shouted back, struggling and barely managing to get her knife away and thrown across the room.

Pain seared up my arm as I screamed out, "YOU WENCH! YOU BIT ME!" Grabbing for her, I grabbed a hand full of her hair and yanked her head back from my arm. "You'll pay for that!" I kneed her in the stomach and slid out from under her, quickly scrambling to sit on top of her face down form.

"YOU ARE GOING TO BATHE!" I shouted in triumph, which was short lived as the damned woman bucked under me and I fell backwards, again striking another table. Jars rattled and suddenly there was a white cloud around and on me. Coughing, I batted at the air trying to breathe as Sally again made a lunge for the door.
"NO YOU DON'T!" I flew face first and grabbed a foot, coming down hard on my stomach as Sally went with me. My hands grabbed something and clothing tore as I held onto the wild thing for dear life!

Mia

Groaning, it was hard to breathe since that witch jabbed me between the ribs, but I was not giving in yet!
Panting, I managed to get to my hands and knees facing her, my eyes narrowed. "You! Are! Going! Into! THAT TUB!" I growled, baring my teeth as I lunged again, tackling her down onto the hard floor. Sliding around some water splashed on my head and the flour was now goo, slimey and sick feeling!
"OOOOOOH! I am going to hurt you! Hold still! DAMN IT!" I got another cuff in the chin with her palm and a knee somewhere I was thankful for not being male!
Sweaty, swearing and sticky, she was asking for it! Feet kicked wildly, mine trying to capture hers under and pin her, her's trying to gain freedom to probably kick me again!
"You Bitch!" I got an elbow in the chest, which hurt like the dickens. "That's it! NOW I am mad!" Grabbing her and rolling, I got her face down and my arms around her middle. Picking her up off of the floor, she kicked wildly at my shins as I took two steps towards the barrel.
Stepping into something I did NOT want to, I felt my feet slip under me and with a loud crash I went down, her bottom landing square in my stomach. Laying there, limp and trying to breathe she scampered off yet again!
That's it! This means WAR! Rising slowly, I staggered to the door and manged to throw it open.
"SALTY!!!!" I cried out heaving between to catch my breath "COME." I gasped again glaring at a passing swabbie "HERE!" I turned and faced one pale faced Sally. "I warned you..." I grumbled, my hand holding my rib cage tightly for a moment, slowly rising to stand up right.
"Now we'll see who's got sass.." I smirked again this time very smug. Dan was powerful, darned powerful. I wanted to laugh but it hurt! "Ye'r gonna get washed... and THAT IS FINAL!"

Mia

"Don't you threaten me! You are DISOBEYING a direct order from the CAPTAIN!" I turned and slammed the door again, noticing she was eyein' it.
"Yer not gonna be leavin'!" Her perfect english slipped as her temper rose. Stalking forward, I knew I had her cornered, if I was going to get her into that barrel, I had best do it now!
I lunged again, capturing her wrist and yanking with all my might to spin her around and trap it behind her.
"Now! You come along peaceful like and take that DAMNED bath woman!" I spotted her knife and kicked at it with my foot, trying to get it away from her.

Above the clammoring could be heard and as Ash turned to go see what the problem was one of the gunners stepped forward.
"I wouldn't if I was you.. Mia's got a mean left and a meaner right! You go in there... what with sally mad 'n all.. You'll be hurtin too. 'sides.. you ordered her to bathe." The man shrugged turning to hear the door slam and block his view. "Dag nabbit! I wanted to see what was under them rags!" He moved off grumbling as Ash eyed the door but didn't move towards it.

In the galley, Mia was struggling towards the barrel with one fiesty cat planting her feet the whole way.

My hands gripped her tighter, ignoring the pain of her claws, her tongue and her kicking. "You're going in Sally!" I hefted her up to put her legs in when her kicking foot caused the barrel to tip.
"Don't SPILL IT!" I warned, that would.. The barrel started to fall as did Sally and I. As it tipped I hit my knees and water splashed both of us. Grinning, I released one arm and grabbed the soap in my pocket. "FINE! have it your way!" I swished the soap in the water and goo on the floor and pushed it towards her face....

Krysta ~

I smiled as he got dressed, trying to explain why he couldn't stay. I only laughed inside already knowing why, shaking my head slightly with the smirk on my lips. Then he looked at me, his eyes caught mine, at first I saw that he wanted to stay, to be here with me. For a split second I saw her in his eyes, he thought about her for that moment. Forced to keep the smile, deep down I wasn't sure how I felt.

Tonight!

He wanted me to come back? Part of me wondered how much of last night he remembered. Thomas was able to hold his liquor quite well, after seeing her he didn't care. Now it's dawn and he's sobber now, so maybe, just maybe it was me he wanted.
Watched as he left to go talk to the crew,

"as you wish m'captain"

Whispered as the door shut, knowing he didn't hear it. Slipped out the room without being reasonably noticed, was already hitting the sails and ropes before he told me to. Ordering a few people around, helping others. Once the anchor was up and we hit the waters I was high up in the crows nest for sometime. Once things started to somewhat calm down, making my last rounds to make sure everything was in order and what needed to be tight was tight, so - on.

Ended up in the back of the ship watching the town and my tavern become distant, soon the crashing waves was all I saw. Now I was happy.

'Salty Dan' Moore

He was standing on deck when the man grabbed him. His scowl had the man letting go and backpedling, but not before he got his message out. "Doctor! Galley! Wants ya!"

He sighed, rolling his eyes and brushing the man aside as he got on deck. News had moved fast that the captain had ordered Sally cleaned up, and that Mia herself was taking charge. He wandered down, seeing the captain.

He nodded to her. "Capt'n. Good ta see ya. Well, ain't got time ta chat, looks like I'm needed."

He opened the door, looking in at the chaos the galley had taken on. He looked back to the Captain. "Ya know, gievn these choices, I'd prefer tha cook dirty."

He moved in, and closed the door, looking at the two women. He sighed. " 'Ello."

"Better than I expected," Thomas leaned over the far side of his ship, looking at the Mystique with her sails up, heading off east. It seemed a shame he wasn't able to see the chaos erupt, but knowing about it would be even better.
With any luck, maybe that Salty preacher could take over. He could make out a deal with part of the map from that man, not from Ashley, but definitely from that man.
"Excellent work, my dear. You outdid yourself, as always. Come here.... yes, come here."
He picked her up, twirling her around and around, howling out his happiness and energetic feeling. As he brought her down, he gave her a small kiss, winking his devilish Captain wink.
"Go get some sleep. You had a long night, and deserve it. It'll take us a few days before we reach the Warhammer, so nothing in particular needs to be done. Go get some sleep, or something you need more... perhaps?"
Thomas laughed, winking at her one more time, and moving up to the stern of the ship, to stand and look at the open sea before them.
Just as a captain should.

Leia

She blushed.

Oh my GOD!

She actually blushed at Thomas' words!

Leia had been thrilled with his jubliant reaction, his praise.
The sound of his triumphant cry as he swung her round she fancied might even be heard on the Mystique itself!
She'd smiled at his kind offer to let her get some sleep and then he'd said it.

"Go get some sleep, or something you need more... perhaps?"

She prayed he had moved on before her face had pinked.
His wink had been jovial enough, but Leia was suddenly reminded of how Dan and she had entered that room, of one mind she had thought, to enjoy each other 'til dawn ... and then ...

She turned abruptly and walked along the deck heading for her cabin.

Damn him!!!
The memory made her horny as hell!
She glanced speculatively around the crew and wondered if there were any to assuage her need?
Failing that she would ... depend on her own skill for her own pleasure ... a waste, but it would allow her to sleep.
And she would NOT think of Dan.
He was past ... barely a memory.

"Ahhh fuck..!"

She whispered, a curse and a statement of what she needed!

'Salty Dan' Moore

He stared. He blinked, reaching up to rub at his eyes before looking again. Not only was Sally really a woman, she was good-looking! Not as good looking as Leia, of course, but still, she'd make many a man turn his head.

His eyes moved down to her chest and,....He closed his eyes tight, turning around fast. He gave a cough. "Well, Doc, looks like ya go' things unda control 'ere, I'll be on me way."

He opened the door, ready to leave. He really didn't need to be looking at things like that, not after his night. He gritted his teeth as the door opened. Not because he'd gotten horny, but because the first thing he'd done when seeing the cook's breasts was to compare them to Leia's, and find Leia's more attractive.

Mia

I saw the fist coming and flinched aside enough that the fist landed against my shoulder and not my face.
"HOLD STILL!" I barked at her, catching sight and sound of Salty.

"I need your help Dan!" Biting my lower lip, I managed to get her torso scrubbed but her hair was still a sight as was the rest of her. Amazingly, she was beauitful and proportioned well. I think that was what shocked me the most. I figured she was horribly scarred to be dressed thus. Or something physical was wrong to warrant such a rotten condition?

"Stop it ya wench!" I slapped her none to gently to stop her struggling. Flipping around on her frame, I again landed hard on her stomach, causing her to lose her air once more. Tearing the dress off of her legs and scrubbing as I went. I knew I looked as bad as she did before this whole thing started.

"Salty, c'mere and help me hold her down dammit!" I barked at him again, she was too wild for me to keep ahold of for much longer. Hell, I was wearing down now, the struggle had taken alot outta me.

"We're gonna git you cleaned up right proper like Sally, then you can worry over this galley.." I chuckled, I could care less about the damned galley! It was her who needed this! Squeezing my thighs tighter, I held her hips prisoner between and scrubbed up and down on her thighs and knees as best I could. Grabbing the pan,I dumped more water onto her torso from over my shoulder and again on her legs.

Melvin Morecock

Leaning slightly on the ship's wheel and reloading his pipe, Melvin watched the captain and Leia's greeting. Apparently her mission had been a success for the captain but, judging by her comment at the gangplank on boarding, not for Leia. It was a pity. Looking down from his higher position behind the two, Melvin got a tantalizing view down Leia's loosely laced bodice. She had worn it for effect the night before and the effect was just as stunning in the light of day. Melvin reached down and adjusted himself in his trousers, wary of Krysta behind him. Turning to wink at her, he found her eyes dead astern. "Never look back, lass. There's too much sea ahead to sail,' he said and turned back to face the bow. She was a lovely lass, but her exit from the captain's cabin made her off limits for now.

Leia, though, with her open bodice and swaying hips looked in need of comfort. "Boy," he called to a young sailor, "Take the wheel. Keep her with the wind and don't change course unless the captain or Pete tell you otherwise." The young sailor looked up into the rigging dubiously at the parrot. "If the captain asks," he said, slapping the boy on the back, "Tell him I'm on an errand of mercy. He'll either understand or hang me."

Melvin walked forward to the entrance of the crew quarters with that rolling gait that keeps a seaman steady. He caught up to Leia in the crew quarters, abandoned now by everyone but the two of them. "Congratulations, lass," he said, "on a successful mission. The captain's obviously pleased, but ye seemed sad at the gangplank. Is there anything I can do to cheer ye up?"

'Salty Dan' Moore

He sighed, and against curses and threats thrown at him, moved over to where the two women were. kNocking Sally unconscious would save him a lot of trouble now, but have her reopening his scar while he slept. He sighed, and lunged forward, grabbing the womans hands, and pulling her arms roughly behind her.

Salty looked now, noticing the way the position thrust out her breasts and then shook his head, watching the top of Mia's head, instead, and watching to see what the cook tried. Probably end up safer for him later, too.

"Ye Gods, Sally, jus' stop ye squirmin'. Iz jus' water."

He sighed, and his thoughts wandered to Leia. He scowled. Why couldn't he stop thinking about her? He bet she was havin' fun with some schmuck on her ship, and not giving a second thought to him.

He started gripping Sally's arms in a painful grip.

Leia

Leia settled on her bunk and discarded her boots, pulling her feet under her. She sighed and tried to push the past night's events out of her mind.

"Congratulations, lass, on a successful mission. "

She looked up and saw Melvin stood before her, his eyes warm as he continued.

"The captain's obviously pleased, but ye seemed sad at the gangplank. Is there anything I can do to cheer ye up?"

Leia nodded.

"Aye ... but t'was little I did really ... that crew will need little excuse to mutiny and their Captain ... "

She rolled her eyes and grinned.

"As for sadness ... 'tis a wasted emotion Melvin ... tis more horny I'm feeling after the frustration of a night's luring without catching ... "

She eyed him squarely leaning back on the bed as she looked over speculatively.

"Will you be having a remedy for that, I wonder ...?"

She asked him softly.

As Thomas walked around his ship, he held a satisfied grin over his face, like a man who had just tasted happiness for the first time in years. He had a girl, his ex was fucked up, and he was just days away from becoming the richest Captain in the seven seas.
That shit grin planted on his face for a reason.
"Keep the sail tight," He spoke, stern to a few of th crewman. He grabbed a hold of the rope, and pulled until the flapping midsail caught the wind, and held. It pulled back on the rope, and Thomas leaned far back, keeping it just right.
"You gotta catch the wind, like a lover in your arms. Not too soft, not too hard. Just perfect."
"Thanks Cap'n."
They tied it off, and he let them go about their business.
His ship, his crew, and his treasure. It would all be just as he wanted in a few days.
"How you feeling back on the water, lass?" Thomas leaned against the back railing, his eyes going from Krysta to the open sea, and back to her once more.

Krysta ~

As always on the first day after things got settled, I was lost in the crashing waves. Relishing how great it feels to be out in the open. To be free. In the distance I slightly heard Thomas helping out the men, but I didn't think anything of it. Mainly because I was thinking about last night as well, wondering where that would lead for him and I. For as awesome it was, still had wonder, specially when I see her in his eyes like this morning. My thoughts broke for a moment when I heard him right beside me, didn't even see him next to me till he spoke.

"oh, I feel much better m'captain. So free and away from the polluted lands."

Turned and smiled at him, he seemed so happy right now. Like nothing could destroy him at this very moment. I was sure he could tell there was something on my mind though, I felt it showing deep in my eyes telling him all my thoughts. Even as I tried to hide it, it only made it worse. Looked back out onto the crashing sea;

"Umm about last night.... I was wondering what that meant to you? I don't like to play games, and I know she still burns deep in your heart. I don't do much with men because I'm not some wench that they can use and toss out to sea when they are done."

I fell silent a moment, hoping that didn't sound to harsh, fearing that it did. Felt my heart racing deeply, it was always hard for me to express how I feel. Didn't like doing it.

"I... I don't mean that you are that way, or that is what you did or doing. Just...... I have always liked you, more than I have ever admitted. And I just don't want to get hurt by your thoughts of her."

Stood there watching the waves, wanting to see his reaction at the same time not wanting to look at him right now.

There was a moment of pause on the ship. Something like a calm in the storm, but it was much more serious, more down to earth. The wind caught the sail, and the ship rode the waves as smooth as if she were cutting them herself, but at that very moment, Thomas sighed both anguish and relief.
"I thought we might have this conversation, although I didn't know it'd be so soon."
He feigned laughter, finding nothing funny in the situation at all.
"I loved her, I think I still love her. I will always keep her close to me. She was in my life for too long for me to just forget her. Ever since she left me, I have been trying to run away. I thought I just wanted to run away from Ashley, and the shit she just keeps pulling despite how I feel for her, but maybe I wanted to get away from relationships too. I don't know... I just don't know anymore."
Thomas moved closer to her, holding her hand. He kissed at it once, before going on.
"I can't promise you I won't think of her anymore, but she isn't a part of my life. She has said that to me, in her words, and her actions time and time again. She wants nothing to do with me, so I'm ready to move on."
Was he? A pain of guilt and fear struck his stomach. He had said that, but he didn't know if he really believed it. He wanted to believe it. Wanted to think that Ash really didn't have that much control over him. He could be his own man.
Maybe he could? Maybe Krysta could be the woman to show him just what kind of man he really was....
Thomas sighed.
Maybe.

Krysta ~

That akward silence fell around us, deep in the pit of my gut was sickened with fear that he would have said something else, something that would tell me he didn't feel for me in that way. Instead in his own way, he told me he wanted to try, he wanted to move on. Whether or not he was truly ready to move on is a different story, but it was time for him to..

"I don't want to push you, that is the last thing I wish to do. Or bring you into a situation you are not ready for. All I ask is to not be treated a wench. I have always been there for you and always will be. This you know."

I held onto his hand as if afraid to let him go, like he would run away or something. I don't know why I was feeling like this, guess its because it's Thomas. Something happened and all those blocked feelings over the years finally emerged. I knew he couldn't let her go that easy, he's been trying for years to ease the pain she caused. This was new to him, a change, a way for him to move on.

"I do not wish to rush you. Knowing what she meant to you, I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be for you. The way she hurt you, whatever it was she did. Is something I could never do, something I wouldn't want to do. I'm not going anywhere.... Course now I'm really not..."

Slight laugh came out as I looked out into the open sea, where would I go even if I could? True I have the tavern, but I wouldn't want to stay there, this ship is all I know. Went back to look at him this time, looking deep into his eyes;

"Anyway.. There is no rush. I don't know why I brought this up. Guess I've never been hurt before and would like to keep that way, being to cautious for my own good I supose."

Mia

Struggling with the wench, she wasn't giving up without a big fight.
"Sally! Hold still! Damned wench.." I grumbled under my breath, frustrated and wearing down quickly. Layer after layer of her clothes vanished as did the grimey colour of her skin. She was clean..well cleaner and she looked much better than before.

Sally gave a grunt of pain and squirmed harder.. Looking at Dan's hands I glared at him, "Try not ta tear her arms off will ya?" Dan sometimes seemed to forget just how strong he was. Shaking my head, I dipped the pot three more times and doused Sally.

"I think I got her as cleaned up as I could.." Dropping the soap, I tapped Dan on the shoulder, "Let'er go now. And thanks." shakey and tired, I had to find her something to cover up with. Smirking, I felt like shouting out in victory but restrained myself.

"Now what I don't understand is why Sally would wanna hide herself away like she does under filth and rags?" I commented as I passed by her, watching her reaction out of the corner of my eye. "Dan, be a dear please... will you go get something from Sally's room.. No wait, go to my room I got a trunk will tons of stuff in it. Please? For me?" I kissed him on the cheek and gave my best pleading eyes look.

'Salty Dan' Moore

Daniel stopped, looking down when she mantion not hurting Sally. "Oh, sorry, Sally."

He relaxed his grip, finally letting go and moving quickly out of the path of danger once Mia signaled she was done. He rather let the two women go at it than get involved any deeper. He stood up, looking up at the doctor as she made a request of him, followed by a kiss of the cheek.

His face hardened into a scowl that he used to keep the cannoneers in line. "Ge' yer own bloody baggage, woman!"

He turned to the door, pulling it open and slamming it after him as he left, silently hoping Sally would slit Mia's throat when they were left alone.

"Bloddy woman, thinks she kin order me aroun'. Ash and Preach are tha only one's who kin order me aroun'.......bloody wench."
