Black Hawk's Treasure

'Salty Dan' Moore

He pulled his quickly shrinking cock out of her, and turned, grabbing his trousers, and pulling them on hastilly. He grumbled to himself, his back to her as he finished pulling them on before turning to her. He opened and snapped his mouth shut, grabbing his shirt and pulling it over his head.

"Aye, I kna 'ow long it takes! An' I know 'ow fast a ship can leave port whe' driven by greed fer more treasure! I kna 'ow easy it is ta move on when all yer carin' abou' is tha next chest o' gold!"

He pulled his boots on, scowling heavilly at her. "Aye, maybe I shou' find a new Capt'n! But I dinnae think they'll be any aroun' as thick 'eaded an' stubborn 'as 'er! So ya better jus' wa'ch yerself, 'cause I won' disobey 'er orders nex' time! I'll blow ya all back ta hell where ya belong!"

He stormed out, seething with anger and rejection, slamming the door closed. He didn't care about Preacher's orders anymore, he was going back to his ship and leaving that cold-hearted bitch alone. And to think, he'd been attracted to that witch of the sea!

He grumbled to himself as he stormed back to the docks, hoping someone, anyone, would get in his way.

Leia

Leia watched him pull out of her and get dressed hurriedly. He was angry, frustrated.
She hid a smirk.
Serve him right!
She bit back a sigh.
Perhaps they were just too similar.

She lay on the bed an expression of polite interest as he snapped at her and turned to threaten her.

She flinched under the heat of his anger and hurled back at him.

”Perhaps you… and Preach should learn to take orders.
If you had then you wouldn’t have had to go scuttling around in the dark after me, trying to make amends to your thick headed and stubborn Captain!”

She watched him storm out without comment.
She had more than enough information for Thomas, but somehow it was a hollow victory.

That will teach you … don’t go acaring about them.

She told herself pulling on her clothes and blocking Dan from her mind.
She looked around the room.
She didn’t want to stay here.
She didn’t want to go out and get laid.
She just wanted to get back on board.

Slowly she walked through the town towards the docks, her knife held in her hand.
She sighed softly as she saw the figure of the ship loom ahead and pulled herself, suddenly weary toward the gangplank.

Krysta ~

We must have fallen asleep sometime, don't remember falling asleep, do know that it felt real good waking up in his arms. Slithering out from next to him carefully, he moaned a bit then rolled over. Once I got up and dressed, not even putting on my boots for now, we had to get things ready and move outta here.

To my amazment the few crewmembers that were awake had already started to prepare for sail. That was when I saw Leia working her way up the plank, she looked somewhat proud, at the same time angered. Right when she got onboard, went around to make sure all the members were on, sleeping didn't matter, as long as they were there.

Snuck back into Thomas's quarters, he was slowly waking up, just enough for me to still wake him nicely. Kissing up his chest, laying back down next to him, playing in his hair;

"It's time to leave, the crew is ready and awaiting for you."

Spoke softly into his ear just as I kissed it.

Captain Ash

It was time to start the new day, head ache or no, and see what these men were made of? Standing on the deck, it didn't take long to discover she had her 'sea legs' back and Thomas's ship was still sluggin' behind.

Good. She grinned a little more.

The sky was twinged with a hint of colour, which meant it was time to get this tub going. The turn out was better than she thought, the ship looked to be well stocked with abled bodies. This also lifted her spirits a little, "Where's Salty?" She asked, glancing around. Just as she spoke she spotted him coming up the pier towards the ship. "Good." She had a few words to say and some oaths to get.

"All set Preach?" She moved over beside him peering down at the papers he had in his hands. Giving him a slap on the back she grinned, "Always one foot ahead of me aren't you?" She turned back to watch Salty board the ship, he looked a bit wary as he should!

"I need to speak with you and Salty in my quarters before we sail please." She flushed a moment and rolled her eyes. Pirates don't say please! Lord almighty! Would she ever get the hang of this? Shaking her head she looked over the men on board, strolling along as she did so. She eyed each man or woman, checking for any visible signs that might some how tell her if they would be an asset or a loss. She stopped in the middle of the deck and cleared her throat, getting most of everyone's attention.

"I am the Captain of this boat, and first in charge here..." She met each person's eyes as she looked around, "Next in line is my first mate, Preach. If he orders you, its the same as if I give that order. You do your part and I will, god willin', make you wealthier than you are right now. You do not follow orders, you attempt to mutiny on my ship, you'll be tossed over board, reguardless of where we're floatin'." She gave a grin as several people's eyes grew wider. "I am fair and I am not unkind to your needs. If you can handle all that and just work for me, for yourselves, then feel free to sign on... Carry on." it was short and sweet, but she felt it got her point across. She turned and strode back towards Preach.

"Not bad eh? Course I don't know if that helped or made matters worse?" She gave a little shrug and turned to nail Dan with her glare, "Now for my gunner and first mate.. We need to speak down in my quarters.. " She turned and marched down to her Quarters calling out for Sally. If all was set, once the men were signed in and allegiance sworn, they could set sail.

Melvin Morecock

Melvin spat to leeward and leaned on the ship's rail to watch the coming of the dawn. The halo of his match illuminated his face as he lit his pipe and watched the Mystique sail. His own ship was beginning to stir with life, though the Captain had yet to make an appearence. All in good time.

"Mornin' Leia," he smiled as the young pirate girl walked up the gangplank. "Good to be at sea and leave the land behind. It's time to bring in the plank, we're about to shove off."

Awk...shove off..shove off ye drunken prick....awk Melvin swatted at the bird as it flew to the rigging.

He winked at the girl, noticing a weary look and a slump in her shoulders. "There be a new day and a new breeze. Leave yer troubles on land, We be in search of treasure and pleasure."

Leia

"Mornin' Leia,"

Leia looked up as she boarded the ship and returned Melvin's smile.

"Morning already ... "

She mused feeling the need for a long sleep.

"Good to be at sea and leave the land behind.
It's time to bring in the plank, we're about to shove off."

Leia nodded and turned to help as the parrot flew overhead squawking. She smiled at its antics and then saw Melvin's encouraging wink.

"There be a new day and a new breeze.
Leave yer troubles on land, We be in search of treasure and pleasure."

Leia nodded.

"I'd be happier with treasure at the moment Melvin ..."

She responded, then raised her head enquiring.

"Cap'n about yet...?"

'Salty Dan' Moore

Each step towards the dock took a little of his anger out of him. By the time he was at the ships, his shoulders were slumped and he was dragging himself along. He glanced at the Water, and saw her just getting on. IF he had permission, or thought it'd do any good, he'd run after her and throw himself at her feet, begging for a second chance.

He shook his head, scowling. Why should he bother? What'd she every shown him, besides how contempuous she could be? Bust still, she was good looking, and had spirit-but that was no reason to let her break his.

He'd throw himself back into his work, if he could. By the time he was on deck, his scowl had manifested itself into fullness, though he shoulders were slumped and he wasn't standing as tall as usual. The captain glared at him, which he felt he deserved, and hoped silently that she wouldn't toss him off the ship.

"Aye, Capt'n."

He moved along behind her, following his new captain, his eyes shifting among the new crew, wondering how many of them were seaworthy.

Captain Ash

She stood at her table, watching as the three suffled into the room with her. She gave Sally a welcoming smile, "I just wanted to know if you think we have everything in stock we'll need for a two week trip?" with Sally's nod she moved on.

"Alright, this I will keep simple. However greatful I am that you remained on this ship, it does not excuse the ignoring of a direct order. Nor a certain gunner to be yelling at his captain in front of some smart mouthed strumpet. Does it Dan? I don't want to needle over this, I thank you for stopping me from blowing up ... The Bilge and if you disobey another direct order, I will have you tossed over board.. No matter where we are floatin'.. Got it?"

Now that she got that said and done with, she felt a little better. Not for winning the arguement but making sure her desires were clear. Being a new captain was hard enough without blatant defiance on her crew's part. She eyed both Preach and Salty, they both were responcible for ignoring her order and she still felt the urge to rip them apart for it but bit her tongue. A captain will have patience and understanding. She'd learn as they would.

"Alright, now we have a problem and I want to know which you three believe would be our wisest course with a new crew." She pulled the map from her pants again, opened it and set it on the table for them all to view.

"Thomas got directions to a sunken ship for the other half of this map. Vallen, remember him? Well he is the traitor and still is working against us. This map shows the island Hawk's gold is on, but if Thomas gets the other half, he'll have the location. Not the island, just the land directions. So.. Do we go after Thomas once he has the second piece?" She eyed each one carefully, herself wondering what was best with this ragtag crew. "Do we go to the island and search for it?"

Before either could speak she told all else she knew. "My father died because of that other half. He paid for it's location and was set upon and stabbed. You all know that, but what you don't know is he named Thomas Delaine as his killer." She let them digest that a moment. "I am not greedy like my father was, it wont consume me as it did him.. But I made him a promise to finish this. We're close, damned close. But I need my crew to help me find it. As always it will be split evenly, no need to say that to you. Now, tell me your opinions on all of this." She knew they couldn't really afford to lounge around here in port, but she wasn't going to make these men endanger their lives if they did not wish to come along. And she also valued their opinions and knowledge, who have been here longer than she.

'Salty Dan' Moore.

He nodded his head, listening to her. His hand went to his neck, his thumb rubbing across the scar there as he listened to her. He hung his head, and dropped his arms to his sides.

"Sorry, Capt'n. I'll follow orders fra now on. As for them, I say we follow 'em ta the other 'alf."

He shifted, knowing his choice was more out of want to see Leia than anything else. He raised his head to look at her, and nodded. "Split evenly, yeah. Well, I'll be in me quarters if ya need anythin'."

He didn't wait for the others to speak, but moved out, dragging himself back to his room and thinking about the meager gold he'd be getting if it was split 'as always'.

Captain Ash

She stared hard back at Preach a moment, a small smirk playing on her lips as he once again rubbed it into Sally's face her condition.

"I have no plans of telling anyone outside this room of this map. As for Thomas, I know where he is heading, the other half. He won't be following us, we'll be following him." She grinned a little more, the stopped all thought a moment.

"Well Preach, what is your suggestion? Sit at the dock for a week to see what these new crew members do?" She put the map back away listening to Sally huff a little.

"As for my father naming his killer, Why would he lie to me?" She was bristling a little with the innuendo her father would do such a thing.

~Doc~

"Do ye 'ave ta go love?" The man lounging in the bed put on a cute pouty face but it did not sway me in the slightest.
"Aye. Me ship is callin'." Fastening my clothes quickly, I gave him a little wink and bent over the bed. My tongue thrust between his lips, my hand cupped his chin and caressed momentarily. His groan vibrated into my mouth as he made to grip me tighter to him.
"Nay, I 'ave to go." I withdrew quickly, reaching into my pocket I pulled a coin out and tossed it to him. "We 'ave a new cap'n an' I need to be there." Reaching for my gun belt, I fastened it quickly and twisted it into place.
"Aye, I guess ya 'ave to.." He made a face and said nothing more. I was tempted to groan with annoyance, I hated attachments like this. That is why I paid for this, not settled down.
"Look, I will see ya again when next in port." Turning, I grabbed my cloak and reached for the door.
"We could marry? Make an 'onest woman outta ye?" My eyes widened a little, turning I tried not to laugh at him.
"Well that's right sweet of ya George.. But I'm not the weddin' kind." with that i was out the door and heading down the shore line towards the Mistique.
His words kept ringing in my ears, I knew it was time to find a new whore to keep me entertained. This one had gotten too attached and too soon. I hated this, I finally get them trained to please me and they end up being a nut case!
All well, such is life.
Heading up the plank, I eyed the new recruits with a little distaste. Half looked starved, the other half filthy and all looked to be worthless in my eyes. "damn them for not comin' back! Traitors.." I knew most of the old crew wouldn't want to remain now that they were free, but still the little lady was going to need better men than this!
Moving to my quarters, I dropped my bags and unpacked, next stop would be to see to Sally. I hoped she took my parting advice last week and bathed! But some how, I knew she hadn't. Perhaps it were time I took matters into my own hands? After all, can't have that woman cookin' my vittles with fleas on her!

Captain Ash

"Alright Preach, I will trust your judgement with this. No reason not to." Going after a ship might just be the proof they all needed that they could work together?

"Be watchful for me, all of you. Dan, you as well. Anyone looks out of sorts, let me know please." She knelt down and picked up a small chest. "This is for you and showing your loyalty to me. I went and divied up what I found in our stash. My way of saying thanks." She pushed one chest towards Preach. It wasn't a big chest with tons of wealth, but it was a start. She bent down and placed another chest for Sally and one for Dan on the table top. One more left if Doc showed back up?

"We best get up there and swear in the new crew, get their signatures and such." She let the ordeal of her father's death lay forgotten for the moment. She did not wish to dwell on it right now. Until she had proof otherwise, she would trust the man that raised her.

She needed to remember to speak with Sally, the tone of her voice told her volumes. Something was amiss with how her and her father ran things here?

The perfect way to wake up.
America boisted about this new coffee stuff, which did wonders for getting the sleep out of one's eyes, but Thomas had to disagree with that. Nothing beat a woman's touch to stir a man in the morning.
He kissed her, his hands already wanting to roam around her body. She had woken more than just him, and he wanted to do something about it.
The morning sun winking in through back bay windows, told him otherwise. He had been late for his own launch.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," He kissed her on the cheek, knowing he wanted to stay, but couldn't.
"Tonight, if you please. We could finish this..."
He got up, running around to put on his captain's clothing. The first day called for something a little dazzling than his normal attire. Something to show the boys and girls what their leader was made of.
Cotton.
"We have a busy day today," Thomas paused, looking at Krysta on the bed. He wanted her there, so bad. Another woman stuck in his mind, lingered there. A fearful wish he didn't want to happen in front of Krysta.
Ashley didn't want him though. She had her own agenda. He was on his own now. And he chose Krysta.
He did.
"Tonight..."
Outside he ran across the deck, pulling out the map in his hands.
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Come gather around, please please. Don't be shy, I don't bite.... hard. This, is the map of your dreams. The start of our destinies. The single parchment of paper that will make you all rich, famous, attractive, and maybe even happy for a few months. Gather around and listen."
Thomas stood on top of the higher deck, right next to the mison mast, and saw his crew looking back at him with eager greedy faces. The perfect look for a band of pirates.
"You all know of Black Hawk's gold, do you not?"
A general array of cheers came up.
"Black Hawk. The most fearful and dirty rotten pirates that ever lived. He stole from anyone and anything. A man who's passion for gold was only matched by his passion for pain. He died a rich man. But you know the old saying? Rich men don't die rich... they just die.
"It's out there my crew. It is out there somewhere, and this map will show us where. This map here shows us the direction to the S. S. Warhammer. A ship filled with treasure itself, but also with much more important cargo. It has a map that could take us right to Black Hawk's wealth. This map will bring us there."
He held it up high, and took out his compass, as his crew cheered and hollared at the riches he promised.
"Excellent," He checked the map for their first length of course.
"Krysta, I need full sail to catch the morning wind. Set the sails and make sure the mison mast is staring right at the morning light.
"Melvin. Take the helm. We need a west, by northwest heading for most of the day. Make sure we have good sea in front of us, I don't want us tipping over the first day. There's my man, and keep that parrot under wraps. If he craps on my hat again, one of you is swimming back home."
Thomas grabbed his hat as he watched the bird fly over, only putting it back on as soon as the demon spawn had left his airspace.
He looked back at the Mystique, a half grin all over his face. Bob, the deck swabber, had just gotten on with a mop ready to start his daily chores.
"Bet you a sixpence they mutiny within a week."
Bob didn't take up the offer.
"Speaking of which. My lovely vixen Leia. Baby, please don't leave me hanging. I know when we get together, I'm always left with a smile on my face. Tell me something good about last night."

Leia

Leia drew near as Thomas called the crew forward. Her fatigue temporarily forgotten her eyes skimmed over the map as she listened to the words of her Captain. She could feel the mood of the crew heighten into a greedy frenzy as Thomas promised them their treasure and pleasure. United in greed and a common mission, each one of them set about following their Captain’s orders without question.

Leia grinned and turning to Thomas followed his gaze as he looked over at the Mystique.

"Bet you a sixpence they mutiny within a week."

Leia smirked and rolled her eyes.
She silently bet they wouldn’t last that long!

"Speaking of which. My lovely vixen Leia. Baby, please don't leave me hanging.
I know when we get together, I'm always left with a smile on my face. Tell me something good about last night."

Leia drew near to Thomas her body pressing against his as she told him confidentially.

”We have no worries there … they won’t last a week…”

He raised his brows in interest and Leia continued with her explanation.

”I don’t know exactly what’s going on over there, but … I’ve never known anything like it. You know, I suppose that she was drunk last eve and got it in her head to blast the Bilge out of the water?”

She paused as he nodded.

”Dan and I found out when we got aboard ship.
All she managed to do was injure her wrist. She was mad as hell and angry at everyone.”

Leia paused with a laugh.

”Well she didn’t take kindly to my presence and ordered for me to be taken hostage. She gave a direct order and repeated it at least twice and neither Preach, nor Dan, nor Sally obeyed her.”

She shook her head still incredulous.

”Obviously that didn’t help her temper, but the result was that Dan all but ordered her to her cabin to sober up … honestly … if I hadn’t been so amazed at her foolish behaviour in front of her crew, I’d have felt sorry for her.”

Leia moved to the side and leaned over to look carefully.
She could just make out Dan’s silhouette.

”Dan wasn’t even sure he’d be allowed to aboard this morning, but I guess she must be desperate for crew.”

She turned round and smiled her sultry smile.

”I have to tell you though, Dan was not fooled by our little act and after last night, all three of them are after my blood. I made enemies rather than friends … and by that I mean Dan aswell…”

It was as well Thomas knew that she had no influence over Dan anymore. She saw his curiosity, but offered no further information.
Of course she would tell him everything, if he needed to know, but the main fact was that Captain Ash’s crew were far from united and indeed a mutiny waiting to happen …
It had been a hell of an evening.

Thinking about it again, Leia felt the tiredness seep back into her body, but shut her mind off to the unpleasantness of the latter part.
Instead she gave Thomas her best coquettish smile as she searched his eyes trying to gauge his reaction to her information.

Captain Ash

She ordered one of the men to hoist the anchor and the others to man the sails. She took the helm herself, and felt a new kind of vigor set in as the wind grabbed and pulled the sails. Smiling, she got them out of the harbor and into open waters.

"We're headin' easterly boys.. We should find us some booty that'a way!" Spanish galleons were always moving back and forth and always had the richest of cargos to be had!

Her worry over Thomas and the treasure was melting away little by little. She knew that reguardless of what he found, he did not know which of the seven islands held the treasure, so in a sense she held him in the palm of her hand and he the same.

"We'll meet up again.." She spoke quietly as she stood there grinning into the wind. For now, all troubles could melt away and she could just enjoy sailing the open seas once more!

"Tighten those sails!" She barked off, ametures...

Mia

My ears picked up a little, listening to the anchor raise from the waters. "Aahhhh here we go.." Smiling, I had just finished with my baby's (doctors tools) and polishing them up nicely. Putting them away, I mosied out of my quarters and down to the galley.

"Oooooh Sally..." I called out in a sing-song manner. Now to see if that woman has washed herself!

Moving into the room, I seen her instantly and grimaced. "Lordy gal! you still have not bathed! Don't you know how unsanitary it is to cook whilst so filthy!?" Ever since I had gone to a convention on another island on environments and being clean, I had it in my own mind to make everyone listen to the finatics views on such things. Sure people called his ideas insane and pointless, I for one believed him!

Hands on my hips I stood blocking her way to the stew pot. "Are ye gonna wash or not?" Tossing my hair back from my face, I scowled right back at the old battle axe and stood my ground.

"I bet the cap'n will have some say so in this!" I threw at her, unsure just how little Ashley would handle this ball of rags but betting an educated woman such as the cap'n, would agree.. Cleanliness is next to godliness! And it sure made eating much easier to boot!

Melvin Morecock

Leaning against the large ship's wheel, Melvin smoked his pipe and steered the Bilgewater on a steady course. "West by Nor'west and the wind be with us today." The smoke out of his pipe had flowed straight forward most of the day requiring little tack and hence little time in the rigging for the crew. Scrubbing and polishing, stacking and storing kept the men busy their first day back at sea.

Dolphins raced along the bow. Later, sharks would follow astern, feeding off the garbage and offal tossed overboard. all the more reason not to earn a keelhaul from Captain Tom.

Treasure and pleasure were promised on the horizon as they raced the sun. "The map of your dreams...." the Captain had said. gold, and that meant all the rum and women a man could stand, or lie under if it came to that. For now there was waves and wind to drive the taste and smell of land away.
