We think Excalibur is lovely, not as opulent as some, we felt very comfortable there, we ate in the buffet, and the Robin Hood Restaurant a lot. We were not keen on the buffet in the Luxor.

I know what you mean peach, the pictures I took last year were OK, but that is all they were.
I knew specific shots that I wanted, at the Volcano, Bellagio, and the Luxor. So 3 months ago I invested big bucks in a digital SLR. And at least now, "her indoors" says the pics are good, so I figure I got something right LOL

As you know, we stayed at the Imperial Palace, and went to see the Legends In Concert show. The artists on qwere
Jackie Wilson
Celine Dion
Prince
Blues Brothers
Whitney Houston
and Elvis.

Celine was so so, the rest were good, with Whitney being outstanding.

The also do a thing with these artists, and others in the casino there. One section is cordoned off sort of, and called the Dealertainers. They all deal Blackjack, and do their acts on a raised podium now and then. Most lip sync, but it is good, and there is a great buzz in the casino when it happens.
This operastes from 12 noon, thru 4am daily.
At noon and 8 pm, there is like a 20 minute show when four or so perform, we saw among others, Alice Cooper, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Janet jackson, Gwen Stefani, a young Elvis doing Jailhouse Rock.

Anyway, it was good, and I recommend a visit by anyone going to vegas.

Italy in August, close enough to venice to get there easily, although it will be hot then.
