Around 7pm this evening, there was a most beautiful horizon to horizon rainbow, to the east.
I took pics, my lens is only 28mm, an 18 would have been better, but I did get most of it.

Yes my wife winced when she saw what I paid for the camera, but she is quite happy now, says the quality of pics shows I was correct, and aint that a first LOL

Well, I'm sure she did wince, I probably would have also. But the quality of your photography would convince me that the purchase was most reasonable.

Those pics you took earlier this evening, made me pine for Holland. Even though it is mostly row housing there, there are still single dwellings. the vast landscape between each of those houses, made me feel that.

Oh yes, do you know we have a family of ducks where I live? Mom and Dad wander around the gardens. Well, she has not been around for a few days, sitting on eggs I figure, so, I should have pics of them walking the ducklings soon, very small ones.
It is great to watch her and dad shepherd them across the road
Its true, happens every year, last she she had two sets of babies
