Boeing Will Build The F-47 Next Generation Stealth Fighter

At this point, just give Boeing a trillion and call it a day....the likelihood of them finishing on budget and on time is next to nil.
Pshaw....Boeing stands to make a pretty good profit now that they're able to self-certify airworthiness.

Remember the 737MAX?

Heck they can probably use the basic 737MAX airframe, slap some delta wings on it, mount a rocket pod underneath and voilà (or 'wall uh' in Ishmael speak) it's done!

Aircraft safety is a luxury we can no longer afford or expect in the Golden Age of White America.

What Trump said:
the F-35 fighter jet, which is, you know, almost like an invisible fighter
Actually, they're totally stealth, so maybe you won't see them come in. Okay? You won't see them come in, but they're coming in.
Takes some seriously dishonest pretzel twist reasoning to claim Trump talking about stealth capabilities means he thinks they're literally invisible to the naked eye.

They’re idiots. These are the same morons who try and “fact check” obviously silly joke memes.

BREAKING: Trump, Hegseth announce next generation F-47 fighter jets

"Nothing in the world comes even close it, and it’ll be known as F-47."

On Friday, President Donald Trump, alongside Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, announced the next generation of fighter jets for the United States Air Force, designated as F-47.

"I’m thrilled to announce that, at my direction, the United States Air Force is moving forward with the world’s first sixth-generation fighter jet," Trump said, adding that "nothing in the world comes even close it, and it’ll be known as F-47."

"The generals picked the title and it’s a beautiful number, F-47, it’s something the likes of which nobody has seen before. In terms of all of the attributes of a fighter jet, there’s never been anything even close to it, from speed to maneuverability to what it can have to payload."

He said that this has been in the works "for a long period of time," and the Air Force, after "rigorous and thorough competition" between top American aerospace companies, will be awarding the contract to Boeing. Senator Eric Schmitt said that the new jets would be produced in the state of Illinois.

It's been a long time coming.
It was in the works "before Trump." So, naturally, he created it from his knowledge of invisible aircraft designs, [Wonderwoman-style], and of course, it has a significant beautiful name to kiss his ass.

Follow the whole sequence and see this part...

Trump said, "... when it's right next to the enemy, they literally can't see it."

Don't need to twist a pretzel to understand these words from his lips to a crowd of pilots. Note those smiles behind him.

Aren’t piloted planes yesterday’s weapons? Swarms of low cost drones are the future (we need to get busy arming Skynet).
Japan in 1945 was the last and possibly only war won substantially with superior air power. The US lost in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq after overwhelming initial military success because their boots on the ground control of the civil population fell apart and lost support stateside. It begs the question, what is the point of the horrendously expensive hardware if the follow up is so weak it gives the military gains away?

Hopefully, they have divested themselves of the DEI infection that has afflicted the production management and maintenance of the reliability standards in their quality control programs.
lol, sure, that’s what happened to Boeing.

On the other hand, the generals knew how to get a boondoggle plane approved by trump. Though they could have gotten an extra trillion by calling it the T-47.

We'll need them to fight the aliens after Musk gets us FTL spaceships and we start invading our neighboring star systems with inhabitable planets. "The greatest neighbors." "The friendliest aliens." "We need their planet in order to protect them." "It's crucial to our security." "We need the best fighters to control their planetary airspace." "We'll make sure they pay for them." "It's like a wall in space."

Yup, Trump is talking stealth capabilities.

While the news tries talking about Star Trek and Wonder Woman. The 'news'. 🤭😄🤣

Will they disassemble as loudly as their other products?
only if Boeing outsources power systems to SpaceX.
The cost savings would be enormous, and Rightguide is already on record is saying a five percent failure rate is probably the best we'll ever see, given the complexity of technology today. So one out of every 20 times a pilot goes up in a plane, his plane goes 'boom'. Not unlike the first days of World War 1. Parachute technology has come a long way since then, I'm told.

What we need to do is announce the new fighter before we have it and and they are ready for service. Show them pictures so they can copy it and talk about the engine and what it's capabilities will be... fucking fucking retards.

You brought up DEI. I brought up the F35 debacle. One is related to your thread, the other is not.

Hint: your DEI post isn't. ....you're the non sequitur
When I brought up their DEI failures I was thinking more about their recent quality problems in their airliner production. As far as the F35 is concerned:
F-35: 1.6 crashes per 100,000 flight hours.Popular Mechanics
F-16: 5.09 crashes per 100,000 flight hours (based on data from 1975-1993).

As I said..... Yours is the non sequitur bullshit. Mine is based on objective fact
