Boston Beach Party!

Okay, so I can't upload the entire archived show because its just too large of a file. But I am going to upload the playlists.

So here is the playlist from the show on 3/3:

Enjoy!

I'll be doing the rest as I get to 'em.

I don’t know much punk, but from what I hear its dead or dieing. As far as my opinion goes, Atari was the last truly great punk band.

It's been dead or dying since 1981 in someone's opinion.

Beery basement shows alive and well in the Midwest.

Yup, punk's not dead. It's just back to be being not recoginised commercially. Same as ska.

That did make my day, seriously.

Fantastic track. The performance was just incredible. Yet another artist that I wish I'd been around to see live.

Yeah, shit, there is some fan-fucking-tastic punk thats going on RIGHT NOW, just.. no one knows about it.

I know people who lamented when CBGB's closed last year that it was the final death toll, the year punk died, etc. etc. blah blah blah

Thats big load of BS. CB's wasn't showing any good bands anymore, anyway.

And I'm glad you guys are into that Otis clip, I thought it was so damn cool when I came across it. I was glad I finally had a chance to play it on the show.

Netz, my co-host Amanda is making the playlist for the next show, so it's sure to be some more loungey French and other international stuff. You might be into it.

I always play too much garage rock and soul for her taste, I think. She really digs the weird lounge music.

Yes, well, this week is an Amanda week. But we've decided that from now on, starting next week, we'll each put together half of the music for the show. But Netz, you should for sure, for sure listen in tonight! I just finished listening to all the music we're going to play, and I have to say, its pretty amazing. I have a hunch that you just may love it.

ONLY AN HOUR AND 20-ISH MINUTES TO GO!

Can you handle the excitement?

I plan on it!

Barely.

I've been using alcohol to calm myself.

Must get a lot of drunks listening and calling in with that time slot.

Not that that's a bad thing.
