Auguste Rodin _ Eternal Idol
One of my favs.
First saw in an art book in my dad's collection... 1970's?
I drew/painted a rendition...I wonder if it is buried somewhere.
I saw the exhibit: Camille Claudel and Rodin at Detroit Institute of Arts Fateful Encounter. That was one of MANY outstanding works (by BOTH artists)

I love the DIA but I've always loved MoNA, it was a shame when they closed their doors on the Armada location. :/

I was lucky with the Rodin, My sister and her husband are members and got me tickets.
(I'm thinking that I framed that drawing/painting and gave it to a friend of mine) hmmmm Either way, The original is way better and 3D!!

I had some time to myself today. I turned off the heat, opened all the windows, got nakey and watched a horror show under a comforter. Although I am grateful to be able to have some along time, I am a little lonely.
Then I remember all the things I should be focusing on. House cleaning, homework, meal prep... The list goes on forever... And I wonder if I'll ever have time for anyone else, if I will ever feel "enough" for anyone else. There is always more work to do.
