Hi ya B...I sure do miss talking with you :cathappy:

Sorry about that.

A lot of people have noted that for the last few months. I just got burned out for a while and was also really busy in R/L.

I've missed talking to you, too.

I'm not a big fan of the full dressed touring bike, I guess I don't want to grow up and still think I can do the whole sport thing, but that is a sweet looking bike. And you sitting on it just makes it that much sweeter.

I hated the bike...but it was all they had available at the time :(

I want a "bad" looking bike....and that is what we are trying to reserve for our weekend excursion..... ;) :catroar: A heratige Softail..............MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm

What you fail to understand is that he had a wonderful ride!....I did not....The bike had too much shi* on it....I am short..meaning I have short legs...That bike rattled my entire body! He had an awesome ride...I got all the vibration..........big time!
Give me a "normal" bike anyday to one of those, so called, fancy bikes!

Love ya Hun!

I guess all those extra nuts and bolts transfered all those vibrations to you, just not in the right spot. Here is a link you might find interesting if you a looking for just the right vibe.

Well...we went looking at more bikes the other day...I talked the the girl there and she said that the reason for my less than comfy ride was because the bike pegs had been lowered for a much taller rider. The woman on the back of the bike (the instructor for the bike class and his wife were the ones who broke the bike in) is 5'9" and I am only 5'2"...they lowered the pegs for her long legs and never put them back up. I got on several bikes and they were all set to original heights. My legs had ample room for riding. So I retract my statement about the bike being bad for the "bitch"...I will keep that in mind for the honeymoon weekend, next week. I tried to rent a softail but they were booked. We have reserved a road king for the weekend. We have lodging for Thursday and Friday at the New River Gorge...we will be whitewater rafting all day Friday...We will be heading to the Harley shop in New River, which is on the way to our destination. We will spend Saturday at the Hawks Nest Park...they have some awesome waterfalls...then we will be heading to Lurray. We have reserved a private cabin...(can you say photo shoot? ;) ) We then planned on heading to Front Royal on Sunday...but plans may change as the only reason we were heading there was to meet up with some friends :) , but they may not be able to make it now :( So if I get word that the meet is off, we will make other plans for Sunday...

Which Harley Shop? In Fayetteville, Oak Hill? I know the area well, you'll enjoy your trip... which rafting company are you booked with?

Yes. and a note all the 'touring' bikes have air suspension.
Roadglide, Roadking, streetglide, etc

Extreme Expeditions is the rafting company. We are heading for the extreme rides down the Lower New River...an all day excursion :)

This Harley Shop , which is right on the way to Hawks Nest State Park

Yeah, its on the way to Hawks Nest... you guys are probably coming up 19 N from Beckley, which will take you across the New River Gorge Bridge immediately after you pass Fayetteville - US 60 is about a mile after you cross the bridge. Beautiful country!

She's afraid she would loose control and fall off the bike ;)

Sorry M, with everything going on with mom, it doesn't look like we will be coming down. Weekend is still up in the air.

Good luck with the wedding, and that sounds like a great honeymoon ride.
Keep you posted. :rose:

I have no idea which was we will be coming....LOL I am going to purchase a portable GPS unit...We have already mapped out our course but the GPS unit will help immensely, I'm sure :D

I do know that we will not be heading to Beckley...We mapped out a faster way via Microsoft Streets and Trips....We want to hurry to get there but will be taking scenic routes from there forward... :cathappy:
