Oh is it raining here. The Thunder is rumbling, the sky is strobing with the bright flash of Lightening. We've lost power intermitantly(sp) because of what I think is water getting into a transformer. (Thank god or my Laptop.) The rain is coming down in sheets. I can barely see across the street. I'm loving this.
Of course this is merely a respite. What we need is rain like this every night for at least the next month. Lake Okechobee is something like four feet below levels. Several towns just south of us have had to shut down wells because of the fear of Salt Water intrusion. (Which would ruin the wells.)
