You should do it more often. It's fun :)

Of course, last time I played I fell asleep in between turns because I'd just played a rugby game and didn't realize my character was in mortal peril... Luckily, I didn't die because my DM took pity on me.

I would if I could my dear but sadly I'm far from such people once more. Perhaps one day I shall experience another try where I can put forth a good measure and truely show some innovation instead of trying to grasp everything all at once.

Personally my dear I have always regretted not being able to see more of you so to see anything at all you add is always a pleasure if not a joy.

Also added to my original post due to accidently posting when I was not finished.
Thank you.

S. has a phys ed degree, so he pretty much has all the arguments in getting me to play sports and all that. Bastard.

There are a good number of things one can do with a chain.....

On that thought I should point out I sent you a story that you may enjoy greatly. Let me know and I shall send you the other part if you do.
I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you about that. I would definitely enjoy reading the second part, if it's no trouble :)

It took me a long time to get the game. It's still somewhat difficult, because everyone I'm playing with has done so for years and years. They have a huge amount of experience, and I often feel rather stupid because... well, the rulebopoks are so vast, but they do appear to know every little detail. It's quite frustrating on occasion.

Yes there are so many rule books, guides and so on, first gens, second gens, revisions, re revisions and so forth....it can be all quite a test to come to understand as your being taught to play.

Oh and I shall send you the next part of the story soon enough.

A few things...

1) glad you're back.

2) I don't know if there's a "stereotype" about rugby gals being lesbians but, if there isn't, there should be. It is just hot. Strong, aggressive, competative women in close physical contact, all hot and sweaty, and in uniforms no less... A playful touch, a stray hand, and the whole team is writhing on the grass in a massive rugby orgy. That's every sane male's dream.

3) I used to play D&D back when I was in HS. There were very few females who had any interest in playing, and those that did looked nothing like you. If you were playing in a game with me, I'd have to roll for disbelief.

4) I have a friend whose boss is an asshole. He never gets any recognition, and feels really frustrated by it. I suggested that, at the end of the day, external validation is not all that rewarding. One must find one's own rewards for doing well, and not expect or even need recognition from others. I know this sounds lofty and philosophical, but it really does make a huge difference in your ability to perform consistantly, and in avoiding the pitfalls of codependant relationships. You go out there and do your best, and give what you can for the sake of the team, not because some wanker coach says "good job, Jen" but because you know that doing any less is not who you are. Here's some external validation for you, though:

:nana: YOU ROCK!!! :nana:

Hey there! Glad to see you back. :rose: And nice dice, btw. I've got quite a collection myself, though not quite as colorful (nor with scenery quite as nice). :)

So I needed some time off from the thread, mostly because I was still upset about things. My internet isn't working too well either. Sorry about that. S. and me have both been really busy lately, so we got into a few stupid arguments. Things are fine now though, I've just been busy.

Rugby continues to be ups and downs. Our coach is kind of a dick. It's one thing to push the team so hard while conditioning that we're about to puke, but it's another to act like a jerk while you do it. I don't want to run my heart out for someone who's not going to offer me a single word of encouragement and instead tell me that I'd probably be better off puking in the middle of the drill.

He has sort of a crush on one girl on the team and continues to praise her to high heavens, but the rest of us just get a generalized "you did okay... your running sucked, and the tackling is awful, but it's getting a little better, sort of". I played really well our last game, and he didn't say a damn thing about it. That's frustrating. It's not just a personal frustration, I don't like the way he goes about "coaching" us like that. It's not that hard to have a little note on each girl saying what they improved, or did well on.

We had one of our alumns, a girl I played with two years ago, play in the last game with us. She's kind of a bitch, but after the game she came up to me and said "Damn Jen, you're playing so much better from what I last remember. You're really getting in there now, nice job!" She sounded really impressed too, and I appreciated her saying something. Now why can't our fucking "coach" do the same?

If I am rambling, I apologize. Sometimes it's a bit hard to remember why I picked this sport up again. I really want our old coach back. Damnit.

I still have a crush on my hooker. It's not the first time I like a rugby girl, but the other one at least wasn't in the pack, so I didn't get so physical with her all the time. It really kinda plays a number on me every time we do either a tackling drill, a rucking drill or a scrum. She's rather small, so I feel almost protector-ish around her.

Related to that, I have a question: Is there really the stereotype out there that ruggers are lesbians? Someone mentioned it to me, but I'm really curious to know if that stereotype exists (even just in jest).

Random picture: Some of you know from earlier posts that I play D&D. Dork, I know. :) I got kinky with a few dice some days ago. No, not that kinky.

Very nice, I used to play for hours and hours while I was in college, haven't played in, cough, way too many years to mention!

Good to see you back Jen. :rose:

There is a misconception that females that play rugby are most likely *lesbians*.........but i think it's more said in jest........."o she plays rugby....she must be a dyke*............but i think that applies to any sport that is supposedly a *mans game*

Btw Jen........those dice make your tits look huge. :)

Hi Jen

Beautiful new and 'old' pics. You never fail to put a smile on my face.

It's a shame about your coach, he could ruin the beautiful game for others with his attitude. Some people react well to the 'gung ho' do or die approach whilst you get better results from some by postive encouragement and guidance in the right direction.

The club I play & coach at have a women's team and they are not all raving lesbians. Rugby is a hard aggressive contact sport and to play it well you need to be physically strong. This means that in the past female rugby players have tended to look butch and therefore in some ill informed opinions they must be dykes. However as women's rugby raises it's profile and becomes more popular this myth is only being perpetuated by fools and people who are perhaps a little scared of women invading a former male only stronghold.

Keep up the good work in the scrums and if you get the opportunity cop a cheap feel of the hooker's arse <--- JOKE!!

Hiya Jen. I LOVE the new AV with your panties around your knees with the boots. Very naughty ;)

Thanks for that. I guess that for the most part, I can live with the fact that my "coach" is an asshole. The thing is though, it really bugs me when we are doing conditioning. I'm not all that strong mentally when it comes to that sort of pain, and it really helps to have someone there who wants me to keep going and do well. It really does affect my performance, and he's not helping.

I did actually get quite a few looks when me and my friends went out and played on national D&D day last year. It was quite fun :D I)'d never had the experience of walking through a room and being watched by so many guys before.

And - Rugby Orgies. I wish.

Okay then. It's a German recipe, so you'll have to deal with the measurements yourself ;)

400g flour
20g yeast
250 ml water
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
800g onions
400g bacon
250g grated cheese (Gouda or similar)
200g liquid cream
2 egg yokes
freshly ground pepper

Make a yeast dough out of the flour and the yeast (let it rest and all). Cut the Onions into rings or smaller (whatever your preference) and simmer them in a pan with some oil until they are glassy (?). Dice the bacon. Mix liquid cream with the egg yokes.

Put the yeast dough into a slightly greased casserole form so that the bottom and the sides are covered. Spread the onions on the bottom and season with pepper. Mix the bacon and the cheese and spread on top of the onions. Evenly pour cream/egg yoke mix over this. at 200°C, bake for 30 minutes.

I usually interpret the amounts quite freely. Next time I make this, I may be convinced to write down the amounts I use and take some pictures.

Thank you. :rose: Mine is growing by the week :) What my friend put into magic cards (which I don't play and probably never will) I spend on dice. :)

Joke? Why? I was planning on that ;)

And as I might have mentioned before, my team is probably the most female-looking "pretty girl" team ever. That's probably half the reason why we suck. I'm not saying pretty girls can't play rugby, but we tend not to be as brutal and tough as our opponents.

Love the dragon. Love the mountains he is sitting on even better...

You never cease to amaze me beautiful. You never cease to amaze.
