Thanks for the advice. I've found it doesn't really help a lot, but putting Aloe Vera on right after the game does help heal it faster.

We are still sucking bad, but at least we've had some major improvement of our scrums, thanks to Dude (I know his name now, but I don't really want to write it here). We won fourteen scrums as opposed to the other team's five, and we stole one of theirs in the process. Compare that to the first game where we won exactly... none.

In related news, I have a kind of a crush on my hooker.

In more related news, most of the other locks on my team are wimps

Having a big breakfast very early in the morning seems to work well for me when we're playing at around noon. S. made breakfast in bed for me this morning, and I ended up having a really good amount of energy on the field.

My tackling has improved, but it still needs to be better. That is one of the things I need to work on the most. My knees hurt because my eight man put her entire weight on me before I was able to get my butt up like I'm supposed to in every damn scrum. Is that normal? It kinda sucks.

It sounds like your scrummaging is definitely improving, as a lock in the 'power house' you should take some credit for that. It sounds like your No 8 is coming in a little early before you are settled in to your pushing position. You'll just have to tell her to pause or better still if she thinks you are late get her to pull the waistband of your shorts so that your butt comes up. You need to find the most comfortable position for you both as you need to be low to produce power in your shove.

Tackling will come with practice and confidence. If you have aggression and good technique that goes a long way to making the 'perfect tackle', it also means it is the opposition that will come off worst not you.

I see from the rugby pages that the USA Eagles have just qualified for the World Cup.

Once I got home (later than usual, since Dude is used to four hour practices and so insisted on keeping the pack for longer and doing more scrums) I made onion pie (or onion casserole, not sure how to translate it, since I got a German recipe). It turned out damn well, and I'm eating some now.

That sounds yummy. Can you send me the recipe? I love to cook. In fact, I'm off to bake some banana bread.

good to see my sweetie is back! I hope all is good on your end. Will catch up with this thread now that I know it is active again.

Thanks, you two.  I'll definitely look into that. I've heard that getting an actual one from a place that sells them is pretty damn expensive. Ebay might be an idea...

http://stores.ebay.com/NEW-AND-USED-CHEERLEADING-UNIFORMS

Looks like they have 230 to choose from a really cheep looking one for @$8 to the expensive ones for $90.

Not that I am excited about the possibility of seeing your georgeous body in and out of a cheerleading outfit or anything. ;)

Your butt looked great and I would have loved to have seen that hand print on you ass. I am a bit of a spanker myself. I love seeing my handy work on a lovely bumm. But, I was telling a former recipient about how much I got off one the sting that I felt in my hand afterwards. She seemed very surprised that that sensation was a part of the pleasure for the spanker. Does S enjoy that sensation as well?

Wow, Jen!

Great story. I have to admit that it made lying here on my stomach much more difficult; but then what is a little pain amoung friends!

I was also sorry to read that you had some trouble with critics in another post! You are a lovely lady and your pictures are so artistic. I love the lights and shadows in your pictures.

As for scars, we all have them, some inside and some on the outside. I see my scars as a reminder of what I have gone through to get to this point in my life. They are my badges of honor. Life is never easy and I have to fight my way through battles every once in awhile.

Take care :rose:

So I needed some time off from the thread, mostly because I was still upset about things. My internet isn't working too well either. Sorry about that. S. and me have both been really busy lately, so we got into a few stupid arguments. Things are fine now though, I've just been busy.

Rugby continues to be ups and downs. Our coach is kind of a dick. It's one thing to push the team so hard while conditioning that we're about to puke, but it's another to act like a jerk while you do it. I don't want to run my heart out for someone who's not going to offer me a single word of encouragement and instead tell me that I'd probably be better off puking in the middle of the drill.

He has sort of a crush on one girl on the team and continues to praise her to high heavens, but the rest of us just get a generalized "you did okay... your running sucked, and the tackling is awful, but it's getting a little better, sort of". I played really well our last game, and he didn't say a damn thing about it. That's frustrating. It's not just a personal frustration, I don't like the way he goes about "coaching" us like that. It's not that hard to have a little note on each girl saying what they improved, or did well on.

We had one of our alumns, a girl I played with two years ago, play in the last game with us. She's kind of a bitch, but after the game she came up to me and said "Damn Jen, you're playing so much better from what I last remember. You're really getting in there now, nice job!" She sounded really impressed too, and I appreciated her saying something. Now why can't our fucking "coach" do the same?

If I am rambling, I apologize. Sometimes it's a bit hard to remember why I picked this sport up again. I really want our old coach back. Damnit.

I still have a crush on my hooker. It's not the first time I like a rugby girl, but the other one at least wasn't in the pack, so I didn't get so physical with her all the time. It really kinda plays a number on me every time we do either a tackling drill, a rucking drill or a scrum. She's rather small, so I feel almost protector-ish around her.

Related to that, I have a question: Is there really the stereotype out there that ruggers are lesbians? Someone mentioned it to me, but I'm really curious to know if that stereotype exists (even just in jest).

Random picture: Some of you know from earlier posts that I play D&D. Dork, I know. :) I got kinky with a few dice some days ago. No, not that kinky.

If I ever see those dice again in life I shall not be able to look at them the same way again.

It is also good to hear you are doing so well despite some of life's trials and tribulations.

On the matter of sports in general I have found that women playing sports is still in some ways a rare thing overall and when you have a beautiful woman playing it's something people note for either good or bad.

Heh :)

I have a pretty good collection, actually. maybe I'll be able to show off some more of them sometime.

Seriously, Roleplaying/Magic stores are the new Claires for me. I used to not be able to walk through the mall without getting earrings or bellybutton rings from that stupid store, now it's the dice. There are just so many pretty sets. They're addicting.

These are some older pics that I didn't get around to posting. I figured I may as well dump them off since I haven't posted anything in a while.

I've only partly played a game once and only that because of knowing few people that had such interest yet I've always had a creative mind that delved into writing and more so to all things fantasy and more I find enterrtainment.

I'm assuming it's known by now that I do love my chains. S. found a new use for them a few weeks ago, and I love them even more. (no, I won't say what use it was  )

Personally my dear I have always regretted not being able to see more of you so to see anything at all you add is always a pleasure if not a joy.

Also added to my original post due to accidently posting when I was not finished.

*Chuckles*

There are a good number of things one can do with a chain.....

On that thought I should point out I sent you a story that you may enjoy greatly. Let me know and I shall send you the other part if you do.

You should do it more often. It's fun :)

Of course, last time I played I fell asleep in between turns because I'd just played a rugby game and didn't realize my character was in mortal peril... Luckily, I didn't die because my DM took pity on me.
