Hello all
Just my 2 cents about my view about marriages. Basically I don't really have a "preference date" for marriages. If I met the right person that I want to spend the rest of my life with her, I will go ahead. However..... in the last few years I had concentrated more on my career than really actively seeking out someone. I guess being a male gives me the luxury to wait for a few more years since I don't have the worry of "tickling clock".
But to start a family, you really have to have some financial stability. I have seen too many family ruined because they weren't prepared financially.

Mmmm.... just finished my fried rice earlier... I am getting better and better in this ;)

How is everybody doing?

thanks for the welcome sexywrench ...

erc: my fried rice sucks ... its either so dull, oily, or dried .. never get it right ... any tips?

bump bump bump~!!!

Yummmmy .. I love fry rice .. always the easierto fixed ..

Can you post the recipe? :p:p

lol wow, can't believe someone was asking me for recipe for fried rice lol

Well, first of all the rice shouldn't be fresh, it should be overnight so it won't be so wet or sticky. Then, you have to put oil, plenty of oil......
I can't do without eggs, so eggs are the main ingredient for me. Then you can have the crunchy vegie (carrots, broccoli, zucchini, napa, snow peas etc) slice it real thin. I don't usually put meat but you can have sliced thin pork or beef or chicken in it.
Then I usually need a crushed and chopped garlic plus 2-3 green onions (scallions) chopped as well.
I will put in the oil, heat it up and use med fire to put the beaten eggs into it, stir it until it is mostly cooked, then put in the meat and veggie... I usually will put soya sauce or oyster sauce or maybe just a bit of sesame oil in it.
Eventually, put the rice in and stir it under medium low heat. when it was almost done, put the green onions it and turn on high heat. Stir continuously or else the rice will burn or stick on the pan. Walla... you got yourself an egg fried rice.

HI sexy threadies,

Thanks for the great recipe for fried rice, erc. (It's always nice to see you posting.)

Fried rice is a big hit in my family, too. If I serve ordinary rice, two cups will last for 2 meals. If I serve fried rice, 4 cups is not enough! I like to put sesame oil (as erc suggested) because just a few drops makes the rice smell so good.

I've been eating a lot of Asian food lately. Just ask Gusty to see the pictures. I've gained 3 pounds this weekend alone  Maybe I need to go to the US to lose some weight?

Hey ... Mia ... Douno .. maybe I should go bump her thread up .. :D:D :p

erc: Thanks for the fried rice recipe

I usually don't cook, I rather just go down my block and buy fried rice from a chinese take out.

There are late nights when all the take outs are closed, and I'm really hungry; forcing me to cook ....

Anyways, Hi everyone~! Bye everyone~!
