Well, in Washington, DC this weekend, the cherry blossoms managed to peak right about the same time as the annual Cherry Blossom Festival parade--due to some unseasonably warm weather last week. Drove by, and both the blossoms and the crowds were thick! But today we have sleet and freezing rain, so I doubt that the little petals will still be there

Hi all

Back in the UK now. I've put myself under voluntary quarantine, I'm staying in a flat by myself at the moment and avoiding my parents until the end of the week. The incubation period for SARS is anything up to 10 days. My father's health hasn't been so great recently, which is the reason for this.

I'm not too bothered though, I got my dvd player and it does mean I have a decent amount of freedom too!

It always blows and blows here in Beijing in the Spingtime.. and we even get sandstorms of Gobi desert dust...... but at least it is warmer now and the trees are greening and the fruit trees are blooming..

Glad you made it back in one piece AFM, things are getting a little hairy here on the SARS front too.....

and RomanHans, I saw the cherry trees in DC when Bush was going to board the helicopter on his way to Camp David this past weekend..... It looked nice, sunny and warm on Saturday......

Work as a Project Manager with a software firm which is into building Internet/Web solutions.
