Indeed. SW I'm not asian. I'm of latin & jamaican decent. But i hang out here..LoL Besides a person isn't made up of just race. Besides..being latina isn't that bad

Anyone got any exciting plans this weekend?

I'm going to an Asian party on Tuesday, first time I been out clubbing for over a month I think. My activity in the Asian community in London is still pretty strong though, since I manage an BBC football team, and contribute BBC activities in London as much as I can. Now's a better time than ever to be an Asian in London I feel, my ancestors never had that sort of community when they first came here.

Any thoughts?

Hi cipher... of course there is nothing wrong being a latina. This thread is named "calling all Asians", not "just for Asians". The main theme for this thread is food, travel and sex, subjects that Asians are most interested.
I hope you feel better ASM, you gotta get out more. Fall is starting here this week, it sure feels like fall with the temp from 0 C to 15 C.

Hmm, two out of three ain't bad. I am Asian. I do not travel - too lazy. I love eating food and almost always over-do it. I love sex but never get it.

My mother having denied that part of our heritage for so long, I'm more asian because of it. She's weird that way ... my sister is married to a man who's part Scottish and German and their son doesn't look asian at all. Whenever my mother is asked she'll tell anyone who'll listen that he's 100% asian!

So for AFM and anyone else that's come down with a sickness. I'd don a nurse' uniform but haven't got one so nude is what you're gonna get

and SW, I found your discovery and story about it very interesting and cool.... I sometimes wonder if the same applies to me I just finished reading two great books by authors with Chinese surnames who are only 1/4 chinese (Linda See and Aimee Liu)..

Well, your mother has pride in her asian heritage. That's really nice. Being of partial Asian blood does not mean you're not Asian. So I can understand her way of thinking. Besides, you can always marry an asian and build up the percentage of that Asian blood for your kids.
